Côte Brighton restaurant

Good food, friendly staff. Would recommend the cote chain to all my friends . excellent for gluten free as I'm coeliac, they are always very careful.

Good food as usual with prompt efficient service. It works well as a pre theatre dining options. The free kir royale was a pleasant bonus

We always go to Cote Brighton for birthday lunches - never disappointed! Steak Frites every time. Service & ambience excellent as always. We'll be back!

We were able to order from the daytime special menu which suited us well. We were a party of 7 for a pre theater dinner and we're looked after very well as usual.

Excellent and attentive service. Good menu choice. A couple of our friends who dine on a Sunday lunchtime as we do appear to be offered a "freebe" ( ice cream or desert wine etc ) every occasion but we never get the offer!!!

We received a warm welcome and were taken straight to our table.Ordered some wine which arrived perfectly chilled,it was recommended by the lovely waitress and it didn't disappoint.The food and surroundings were also perfect.We will return,its always a treat to be here.

Excellent meal and service. They looked after us very well and moved us to a bigger table when our number increased to 5 at the last minute so we would be more comfortable!

Very good overall. Excellent staff front of house on arrival and on departure. The service was prompt and waiters courteous. In summary - all good.

The great thing about Côte is that it works well for an inexpensive lunch or early evening meal and also for something much more special, as in this case, where both food and wine menus provide plenty of choice and the food actually tastes great.

Nice table service was impeccable. Ate from the early menu so obviously choice was limited the variety ensured that we both found something we could enjoy. Could do with a little more choice and imagination re beers.

My Coq au Vin was pretty ordinary and my partner's steak was not to the usual standard. Service was good but the staff have little idea where to place glasses on the table.

Cote is always consistently good value for money with well presented food and a buoyant atmosphere. The friendly well-trained attentive staff never hurry you. Comfortable seating and decor, too.

Good service and delicious food, tables too close together though. The experience would be much nicer if I wasn't a part of the conversations of people on either side of me.

It was Monday lunchtime, and pretty quiet, so although we had booked a table it wasn't really necessary on this particular day. We ordered from the special lunch menu, and it was excellent - starters and mains just the right size so we all wanted desserts, which were also excellent (the best creme caramel I have ever had! )

Cote Brighton is alway solid, good value food, perfect prior to a film or show nearby. The friendly, fast and efficient service is a bonus.

it was a good meal and we were quite well looked after. Not keen on the automatic 12.5% service charge. I would prefer to reward according to experience and not to Cote company policy

Food, atmosphere and service was all great! They even gave me a free kir royal cocktail for my birthday!

Superb meal as always. Staff mostly friendly. Our waitress wasn’t as welcoming as others had been in the past which is why score wasn’t a 6.

Staff, as always, were very friendly and efficient. The food is always a good standard and we will definitely keep visiting Cote when in the area.

We were very quick to be seated. As it was my birthday last week we were all given a complimentary glass of bubbly. The food, as is normal, was delicious.

Our meal was very pleasant, well presented and hot. Our waiter was as attentive as it was possible. However, I feel he had too many tables to manage them to the best of his ability.

Was very impressed with the service- the waiter knew exactly When we needed service and was there immediately. Food was excellent- served hot and was very tasty

Despite it being busy we were served as always very efficiently and courteously and will continue to patronise Cotes in Brighton as often as possible.

The service received was brilliant and the food up to its usual very high standard - can’t fault the place and regularly go back there.

Shocking service, the waitress was super rude. Everything seem d like a chore to her. Most upsetting Food was average. It really has gone downhill

Very nice meal. Really helpful waiter. Really good atmosphere as always. It’s a really nice restaurant in the centre of Brighton. Will certainly go again.

Meal was excellent and service overall was good. However when we asked for some extra bread to have with a starter the plates arrived and no bread. Apparently the waiter thought we asked for extra plates! Service always seems to slow down when it comes to deserts and coffee which is worrying when you are on your way to see a show.

Brilliant, We love this restaurant, it always comes up trumps. Great service, great staff, always courteous & obliging, great food cooked to perfection. We always use Cotes on our special days as well.

Super food,good menu, well presented, and tasty.Served quickly, politely and happily on a very busy night. We have booked before and certainly will again. Pity there isn't one in Hastings.

Great lunch. Food was good as always. Vegan option was a lovely risotto, which was tasty. The chocolate mouse is to fantastic. The restaurant was busy as it was a Saturday lunch so service wan't as good as it usually is but everything was fine. The atmosphere was lively but not so good if you want a quiet meal for two.

As ever, lovely welcome, ambience and service but really felt the food was lacking this time. Most unusual, but it was luke warm, not well presented and unappetising (particularly the chicken dish that I and three other friends ordered). I should have said something at the time, but it was my Birthday lunch with six of us in total and didn’t want to disrupt the occasion, as the other girls were happy to eat their mains. Starters, drinks, and all other aspects were fine, but I wouldn’t have let those plates leave the kitchen. Has rather put me off.

Cote in Brighton was absolutely wonderful! Great service, amazing food and wonderful surroundings. The pricing of the set menu was incredible value for a delicious meal. I would definitely return and bring others with me!

It was very busy tonight so the service was slow but the staff were very friendly and the food was just as good as always.

As usual the food was excellent, the staff extremely polite and helpful. All three of us enjoyed the Brighton Cote experience celebrating our friend's retirement.

The cuisine is consistently good, and reliable. The staff are charming and helpful and the service is good. The decor makes one feel that one is in a French bistro in the Boulevard de Montmartre but the only drawback is the noise level because of all the hard surfaces so not so suitable for an intimate dîner à deux. But it is our go-to restaurant in Brighton.

Very busy lunch time but each course was served at the appropriate interval. We all enjoyed our choices from the set menu. Nothing to fault and plenty to applaud!

Food was really nice, service was impeccable, the only thing I had a problem with was the amount of noise from the other people in the restaurant, I know its just a personal thing.

Have been a fan of Côte for some years now and have dined at various of their restaurants. The quality is always good and service and ambiance likewise. Am a special fan of the Brighton restaurant.

Lovely meal again, Cote's consistently serve good food with excellent service and great value. The Brighton branch is friendly and welcoming and in a great location.

Only issue was glazed carrots were only barely warm. Was offered fresh dish but did not bother as a time constraint and these were taken off the bill. What a good gesture and pleasantly surprised.
