Côte Brighton restaurant

Lovely restaurant and great food although a bit pricey. The complimentary Kir Royale was added to the bill so we had to ask them to remove it.

Great service very nice meal. Service charge expensive and most restaurants offered a free drink to mothers on mother’s day but not Côte. Had a good time and will go back

The menu hasn't changed in years and is extremely boring. Very difficult to choose as the starters are relatively small and pricey for what you get. Food extremely average and lacks in both presentation and flavour. Away from the food it has good ambience.

Another lovely evening on Friday at Cote in Brighton. Consistently great food, at reasonable prices The set weekday lunchtime/early evening menu, which changes each month adds variety, as do the specials. Nice ambience, and courteous service. My favourite place to eat in Brighton.

Had a meal of French classics like Onion soup and Confit duck which were top quality. The real surprise was the Creme Caramel, which was delicious and unlike any other I have had. A far cry from any shop bought one you might have had, try it! Service was polite and unstuffy ,in a restaurant with a nice buzzy atmosphere

Really lovely atmosphere and decor. Food was great as always it is a little expensive but worth it! Will definitely return. It is really good service.

Arrival at restaurant chaotic, had to wait what seemed some time to be seated even though pre-booked, eventually saw my cousin and went and sat down. Restaurant was full and very noisy. No soft surfaces to absorb the sound, could hardly hear my cousin. Food excellent and very good service,

A nice restaurant building with good customer service and a good selection of very good food. Our meals were very good. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. We will go again.

Service and food were fabulous. We were sat upstairs which was nice and quiet however the blinds were all closed which I think was a shame as was a clear day & some natural light would have been nice.

Good food and great service. The early evening set menu is great value with plenty of choice. I particularly like the building but it can get noisy at peak times due to the high ceiling!

Not as goood as usual. Waiter was flustered. Steak was cold, and no offer of sauces etc. When asked for them was told to wait- by which time steak was even colder and nearly finished.

Jools was amazing , she ruled the floor while making it look easy and calm while busy. A true class act and looked amazing x

Excellent service & great food as always. Find the atmosphere in this restaurant is always very pleasant and it has become my favourite place in Brighton to eat.

We enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day brunch at Cote Brighton. Coffee, champagne and fresh orange juice plus a great breakfast menu to choose from. Great value for money as always, highly recommend!

Great day out with lovely food and attentive staff. Have been quite a few times and am rarely disappointed but today was an especially good experience

The food was clearly preheated and the waitress, although lovely seemed to be in a massive rush to serve us everything all at once. We hadn’t even started our olives and our starters were served. We still had olives to be eaten with our fizz and the mains came out. But too fast for our liking.

Excellent service with a smile, imaginative menu, food hot and tasty. Good value for money on lunch specials. Buzzing atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant

Very helpful staff and attention to detail, food was excellent and we were not rushed even though the restaurant was quite busy. Good selection of breakfast/brunch options for all tastes and diets

Food was lovely, service was quick however our side dishes didn’t come out until we had finished eating our mains. Waitress was polite and apologetic. Overall good experience and great food.

Never fails to deliver. Food, service, facilities, surroundings all up to scratch. If I had to criticise something, the back bacon was more fatty than normal but such is the nature of meat cuts. Best chain restaurant around.

Lovely lunch, starter, mains and our favourite desert 'cream caramel'....a dream. Quick and attentive service in a very busy restaurant. Fish was slightly on the dry side this time (fried) but otherwise fine.

Asked to move tables as ours was sitting in a corridor with the seat layout side by side . Moved upstairs to a proper table facing each other . Great service and good quality food reasonably priced .

My husband ordered a cider to go with his main course. Half way through the meal he had to go and find a waiter as it hadn’t arrived. My daughter ordered a coffee to have with her desert and that never came. Minor point but the candle on our table was replaced 3 times as it kept going out. My husband and daughter both felt the portion size of the fish pie was much smaller than they’d expected.

Cote , to me is an excellent centrally located Restaursnt. Food is always freshly cooked. The service always friendly with attentive waiters and waitresses who are very professional and efficient. The meal deals are excellent especially if we are wanting a quick meal . Lately we had a brunch which was perfect. Thank you fir our complimentary Kier Royal last week.

The food was delicious and we were well looked after by our very pleasant waitress. Côte is my go-to eating place in Brighton, both for informal lunchtime meet-ups with friends, as well as for more special occasion evening meals. The food is consistently good: I can always rely on Côte.

A wide selection of dishes on the pre-theatre menu, which is good value. Always allow plenty of time as it can be a rush to finish and leave the restaurant for the performance. We had good service and enjoyed the meal.

Consistently good food, good service and a convivial atmosphere-exactly what one would expect to find in a Brasserie. It is also very convenient for pre and post theatre visits.

We were there on a very busy night and despite that, service was impeccable. The food was lovely. It was a lovely evening with a show after. Our pre-theatre restaurant of choice. Great value for money too.

Cote in Brighton has an atmosphere about it that you want to stay longer and the food is always consistent, “ never had a bad meal”. Staff always pleasant and can not do enough for you.

our comment is as usual in Cote Brasseries we can see no need for Airconditioning to be at full blast on cold days in a smoke free environment. Our constant complaint at branches we visit.

It is a Busy restaurant but we had good service. Excellent meal - very good choice of menu - incredible value. Definitely wil visit again

Very friendly and efficient service, let down by chef with cold soup for two of our guests. This would not put us off going again as it is very good value for money.

Great restaurant experience from start to finish. We were a group of 12 celebrating a birthday. Took advantage of the early eve menu at £13.50 for 3 courses. It was excellent value, food was good quality and beautifully presented, it all arrived at the same size despite group size. Staff were super attentive and friendly. Atmosphere, lighting and music all excellent. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go again! :-)

Food was excellent but service not as exceptional as it usually was. We had a table of 5 and arrived early and they were very accommodating and let us sit at our table early. The food was great. I had the smoked salmon and steak special which were both wonderful. The rest of the party were all very happy with their food. Would definitely go again. The only reason for a 4 star is that we had to keep getting the attention of the waitress, which we don't usually have to do in here. This is my 3rd visit.

Really enjoyed the evening. The menu was broad and interesting and priced very well. A great ambience within the restaurant with lots of people out for a good night having fun. What’s not to like, we will be back.
