Staff always very friendly and efficient and good quality food at a very affordable price. Wish we'd have been placed downstairs however - personal preference.

Another great meal after an afternoon's shopping in Brighton. Probably best to avoid the pre-theatre rush as tables are quite scare at that time. Staff are plentiful, always attentive and food is great leading to an excellent experience all round.

Good food and excellent service from Zoe today - a very enjoyable lunch. The daily special menu offered one of our favourite chicken dishes, and the beef bourginon was very tasty. The Viognier was nicely chilled and was perfectly pleasant.

Great food and service. Lovely ambiance. Right in the centre of the laines so great if your going formdeinks after. My hotel and las iguanas are good for cocktails .

Excellent meal as always. Relaxed and informal setting but with a pleasant buzz. Service very professional and friendly. The food is always good and very reasonable.

We arrived early before it got too busy, but it was certainly buzzy and full by the time our meal arrived. The staffing ratios though are good so we had professional and friendly service and a delicious meal. The ore theatre supper is a really good deal and never disappoints.

Brilliant food and service. Our waitress was lovely. Early bird menu was a hit. Not rushed either. I highly recommend this beach of Cote. I have rebooked several times and not had s bad experience yet.

Lovely. Staff friendly, efficient and very helpful, and although the price of the lunch has gone up slightly since our last visit, it was still excellent value for money - delicious, and all beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and atmosphere as always. When ever I go for a meal at Cote for lunch or in the evening the service and staff are terrific.

As usual our visit to Cote was most enjoyable. We had the three courses for £13.95 which is excellent value. The staff were very attentive without being too in your face!

This was a belated celebration of Mums birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary and as always the staff here made it very special. Just love this place.

An unplanned birthday supper. I was supposed to be at home but had to come visit Mum early. They fitted us in to an already busy restaurant and we had a fab evening.

A trip down to see Mum and yet another lovely meal at our favourite restaurant. Staff here are really wonderful and we always enjoy it.

We have been to this restaurant more than a few times and have always been pleasantly surprised how good the food is. Also, even when very busy very little delay in being served. Will return!!

Not the first time we’ve dined at Cote - we’ve been to numerous locations - as usual a lovely dining experience the food was delicious the staff were very helpful and all served with a smile we did dine upstairs as past experience proved downstairs was quite noisy

Cote is still the best of the chain restaurants anywhere. Especially in Brighton. Standards are always kept up. Its a more than fair price, and changing menus enough to keep it interesting. Plus of course the staff & management. They are wonderful, its always a pleasure to eat there & always with a nice buzzy atmosphere. When I read about chain food outlets doing badly. There is a good reason. its not that people are tired of eating out. Its just that the ones that are in trouble are relying on the same menu's & decor without ever updating. Service and food really good, as usual. Very pleasant waiter. Duck confit and belly pork superb. We usually go to The Cote in Horsham, just as good.

The staff were very attentive and we had two delicious steaks. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and next time we are in Brighton we certainly intend to return

Gorgeous restaurant with lovely, attentive staff. The food is beautiful and never disappoints. The duck breast and gratin potatoes is a particular favourite of mine and the creme brûlée is the best I've ever had

Lovely venue, with great food, great service and as always was very busy. We also found an amazing rose wine they had at not a bad price for the quality.

Cote is the best place in town, in my opinion. Food and service is always excellent. They have a great wine selection too. I always look forward to going.

Lovely time had by all, food was excellent as was service. We had booked for eight adults and table was ready for us and we only had 1.5 hours before show which was no problem at all.

The meal was ok after sending back the first ministeak which was tough. Free Kir royales were on the bill like Frites which were part of the meal. This has happened on two occasions before. The management put it right on the night but very annoying.

We enjoyed our starters of langoustine tails & Jerusalem artichoke gratinee. I asked the waitress if she could make sure the main course was hot as we have had some problems in the past with this. She said that she would. My husband had the cod parmentier which was very hot. I had the poulet chasseur The gratin potato was hot, the chicken was not hot, the sauce was lukewarm & the mushrooms were almost cold. I sent it back & when it returned it was a bit better. The wine was good. It is a shame as the service is good. We really enjoy the menus, but it is sometimes spoilt by the food not being served hot.

We went for a fairly early evening meal and already there were items on the menu which were not available, The food and wine were good enough, the service was fine although it took a while to get the bill, mainly due to the fact that the restaurant was filling up rather than the staff was inattentive. I would go back again, but perhaps for lunch rather than an evening meal.

Warm welcome and great food as usual. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We asked to be seated by the window which it is my preferred place and the waiter was able to accommodate us in.

Such a great menu with so much choice and the food is consistently good. The atmosphere is great and the staff are so friendly. The is such a good restaurant and remains consistently great in all aspects, all of us enjoyed the experience and look forward to returning.

Lovely warm welcome (esp as it was snowing outside) and great food. Only thing I dont like is the 'discretionary' tip added of 12.5% - do think it should be left completely to guest discretion, not the restaurant's.

Excellent and really looked after my mother in law who has a special birthday. Very good food and good value as ever. I will be back.

Delicious lunch, excellent service and fun and friendly staff. I regularly visit for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have never been disappointed. I will return again soon!

Great food and service. Never disappoints. Had fish soup a new addition to the menu, delicious. Also pork belly was fantastic. Always one of our favourites.

Cote, Brighton is an excellent French cuisine restaurant which is good value for money. There's a lovely atmosphere in the building and the staff are really attentive and friendly. A place to enjoy with friends and family.

Friendly reception, all serving staff were very smiley and attentive.Food as usual was excellent and restaurant was very busy. I rate this venue as one of the best in the group

Cannot fault any aspect of our visit--excellent food,service and ambience. Also amazing value of "Weekday menu at £13.50 for 3 courses.Regular customers---keep up good work

This visit wasn’t as good as previous ones. We had to send back my daughter’s chicken dish, as the chicken didn’t look right. And the replacement was a bit better, but not great. The chicken was over cooked and chewy. Another dish we ordered was labelled as Haddock, but we were served smoked haddock. They sorted out a replacement, but didn’t offer any compensation.

Another enjoyable lunch - ideal place to meet friends for a relaxed lunch with good food and excellent service - will definitely be back soon

Lovely restrant as always, unfortunately they didn’t have the wine we requested 3 times! but the maneger was amazing offering us a better wine for Free as well as appetisers that realy made up for it. Over all lovely evening

Welcome was polite if somewhat curt. Smart venue. Theatre menu was good value but side order arrived late - as did coffee. Food good/ service adequate.

Wonderful food and ambience - attentive and friendly staff. We had the lunch menu and it was very filling. Great experience and will def be going back
