Côte Brighton restaurant

Waiter kindly gave us a table in the window despite only being two of us, That was a bonus. Always good food and service. Always reliable.

Very busy and ideally located opposite the Dome. Very quick service. A side order was wrong and it took 15 minutes to get the right one after asking, by which time our steaks had gone cold..... but without even asking we received a discount on our bill which was a very nice touch.

As usual food and service was excellent. Unfortunately the toilet area had not been checked. Did not match up to the standard of the restaurant and there was no toilet paper. Staff were informed and it was dealt with immediately.

I have to say that we were treated to some fantastic service and wonderful food, therefore, in conclusion, I have to ask 'what's not to like'?

Good atmosphere as usual, tasty starter but the main course wasn't that hot. The chicken and veg was luke warm, hopefully this was a blip.

As always a pleasure to be in a vibrant and efficiant restaurant. Food exactly what you want wine exellent value staff fantastic enen when really busy.

Friendly and good waiter. Food quality has slipped over recent months. I had same menu in Cote Chichester last week and quality at that venue definately superior.

The restaurant always provides well-cooked food at a reasonable price and with very efficient service. It is also has an excellent early evening fixed price menu suitable for those going to the theatre or an event in the Dome.

Great place for lunch, menu to suit all tastes and reasonable price. Never had a bad meal at Cote. Service attentive but not intrusive. Definitely visit again.

Another mainly good lunch at the Brighton Cote. It is still good value, although my main dish had some wilted rocket which had clearly seen better days. I am glad the Dark Chocolate Pot is back to its usual recipe; on a previous visit it had turned into a rather liquidy milk chocolate mousse. Sevice excellent as always.

It was good! We greatly enjoyed the experience and will visit again . Lovely surroundings, excellent staff. PArticularly liked the tables and cutlery and the napkins The garnish to the pork was cold.

Really good value for quality, well cooked food. No hassle to get us out which was appreciated - even though our lunch time reunion took up nearly 4 hours. Thanks.

Always consistent quality food, reasonably priced. We tend to go for the pre-show set menu before 7pm Monday-Thursday, for additional value. Our youngest daughter objects to too much diary related items on the menu.

I have visited Cote many times and have always found the food to be excellent with very good service. Cant fault this restaurant, would certainly recommend.

Fine. Very conveniently located for the Dome Concert Hall. And the Theatre Royal. Reliable, good service, fair value. Popular so can be noisy, but fine for an early evening pre-theatre supper.

Trouble was we had two 'girls out' for lunch tables directly behind us drinking bubbly. We couldn't hear each other talking. This was lunch time. Food was good as usual. Even the waitress had a job to hear our order. That's Christmas!

As per usual very nice restaurant with good food and service. The two special set menus offer great value for money. We will be back soon.

Had the usual good meal last night. The food was a delight as always and the service smooth and professional. Since Cote opened in Brighton we have never had a bad meal. Big shout out out to Sebastion who remembered us and did everything he could to make the evening enjoyable.

The food was excellent as always. It was extremely busy and extremely noisy and unfortunately it was difficult to hear what my friend was saying .

We were disappointed that we were not allowed to have a table where we could sit side by side so that we could communicate with each other in a noisy restaurant when we have some hearing problems. Also we both asked for the Jerusalem artichoke risotto but again were disappointed that this came without a whisper of a vegetable garnish, not even a pea shoot or two!

As usual a wonderful atmosphere with great food. I had the duck that was cooked to perfection. The puddings are good especially the peach crumble.

Excellent service and food. Another good experience at a Cote Restaurant. Thoroughly recommend this chain if you haven’t already tried it. Reasonable prices, especially the fixed price menu.

Fantastic atmosphere, very attentive staff. Superb menu selection and the food was fabulous. A wonderful start to our evening. Can't wait to go to Cotes again.

Good service, good food. You know what to expect and you always get it. Fairly priced, good selection. Could offer a wider range of beers. Would definitely recommend.

Just a lovely restaurant for a girlie get-together. Always amazingly friendly staff. I like the idea about the upgraded set menu, very good and reasonably priced.

Love the atmosphere of this particular Cote. Haven't visited for about 3 years but found it is still a good place. Staff superb, food excellent.

Have eaten here a few times this last month and each time it has been a really great meal with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are kind and courteous and are always attentive without being intrusive. A great place to dine and get together with friends.

It is a nice restaurant located in a nice area. The staff are good. The menu is good and the restaurant ambience is nice. Our meals were very good.

Food and drink were OK - Chicken a bit dry and over-seasoned - Doesn’t seem as good as it used to be... Service and ambience good.

We had an enjoyable evening and meal. Cote offers a very good reliable standard of food and service wherever you go and this was true of Brighton. I would happily recommend Brighton to anyone.

I am always happy to rate Cote, I think they always get it right. changing the menu regularly. & always interesting. More than fair pricing. Plus very good food with a menu that provides something for everyone. Considering that this company has been trading for quite a few years, they have never let standards slip. My big gripe with all businesses that open with a bang is that after a few months they take their customers for granted & think they have made it. This has never happened at Cote. Service is exemplary, I am never failed to be impressed. Finally I do like a buzzy restaurant & you will usually find it here. Good luck to Jules & her team. I will always be a regular. We received a warm welcome at Cote last night. Coming in from the wind and rain, we entered a buzzy atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. There were FOUR birthdays celebrated around the restaurant while we were there! The food was as good as ever. I enjoyed the salmon and a friend found the sea bass excellent. I cannot fault Brighton Cote.

The food and overall experience was good but marred by the realisation that we were charged for olives which we had cancelled and didn't receive, and the automatic provision of the large glass of wine rather than asking which was preferred.

Lovely food and great service as always :-) We come to this restaurant for our family Birthdays and as always, Cotes Brasserie never disappoints, we highly recommend!

We all enjoyed a very tasty, good value lunch time meal. There was plenty of choice. And the staff were friendly and attentive as always.

Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. 2 points lost because I thought it a little expensive, especially as I had expected the early evening menu to apply on Sundays, and it didn't!

Sadly we did not have a very good experience at Brighton Cote. Service all over the place got starters before drinks and olives arrived. Mains took ages to come my food was warm plate almost cold. We were looked after after we complained and service recovery was very good. It would of been nice to of got it right in the first place. Ruined our Sunday lunch. Will think twice about going back.

Really enjoyed our evening as always. Only issue was Cote did not have my booking through you on their file. Not sure what went wrong! We were given a table anyway so the matter was resolved.

I have never had a bad meal at Cote. The restaurant was busy and service was very good. The only fly in the ointment was our table was very near to the entrance and itwas pretty cold at times when people entered and left.

Lovely restaurant. Perfect location when going to the theatre. Food excellent standard as always. Attentive staff who want you to have a pleasurable experience. Would highly recommend.

I visit Cote regularly and they never fail on quality, service or atmosphere. I had the charcuterie board and a side order of tomatoes - wonderfully delicious! My 91 year old mother got through a plate of frites and steak and said it was delicious. Have already booked a further 2 visits
