Work team meal, everyone enjoyed it. A bit noisy but overall good.

I met a friend at Cote, Brighton for lunch today, 4 June - we do this on average once every two months. We like Cote as they never make you feel rushed and we haven’t had a meal to complain about since we started going there about 5 years ago. The staff are friendly and efficient without being intrusive. Can’t fault anything about the restaurant, food or staff. 10 out of 10.

Food was excellent, very busy restaurant, but front of house was very well organised and inventive. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and wine. Fish stew brimming over with lovely fish, mussels, clams, prawns & Fish.

Coffee machine not working and only instant on offer.If they can boil a kettle to make instant why not make a cafetiere of proper coffee with it? Bill refunded and waiter gracious; manager far less so. Won't be visiting Cote Brighton again any time soon

Good food and attention to dietary requirements (coeliac and vegan). Very slow service at the start. 20mins before order for first drink taken.

Brighton Cote was particularly busy as it was a Bank Holiday weekend. However, both the food and the service did not suffer because of that. It remains my favourite Brighton restaurant.

Good food but rather chaotic if friendly service. A long wait as our order was not put through when taken and we had to order again. Lucky we were not in a hurry!

One of my favourite restaurants. I have visited many times with family and friends.. Never been disappointed. One issue is the noise level in the main body of the restaurant. We generally try to request the window area which is better. Also tables are quite close together which can be an issue at busy times. These issues can be accepted - because evening else is great.

It was a family meal for 4 on a busy Sunday lunchtime at the height of the Brighton Festival, so I guess a bit of waiting was inevitable, but the noise levels made it difficult to hear, even with my hearing aids in! Delicious food, although the goats cheese salad would have been better with cold lettuce - crisp, rather than wilted. Asparagus starter a bit bland. All the other dishes excellent. Ace desserts and an unexpected birthday treat on the house. Thank you.

The food was not the best......we had to send all starters back as they were not hot.....and the main side dishes too......service was good tho’..

Delightful meal served by lovely staff. Because if the restaurants popularity it was quite noisy but not much you can do about that. Otherwise a lovely visit with quality food and service as usual.

A party of six was made welcome and given a table in an attractive part of the room. The service was friendly, efficient and polite. We sat finishing our wine for some time after we had eaten, and there was no attempt to hurry us along, which was much appreciated.

Booked a table and managed to fit us in a bit earlier than our table was booked for. The waitress seemed to forget we were there e.g it took 15 mins before our drinks arrived, and another waiter noticed we hadn’t had our table cleared and gave us dessert menus. Chichester branch had better service.
