A very good meal and very good service, the staff did try to rush things , I made my point. It was early evening and very quiet.

Reserved a table and was seated immediately upon entering restaurant. Requested champagne on arrival for my parent's anniversary and the staff brought it over fairly quickly after seating us without any reminder. Service was excellent and food was to a very high standard. The only problem was my mum's fish main course, which arrived barely warm and bone dry - it looked to have been sitting under a hot lamp for a long long time. However when this was raised, our waiter apologised and quickly ordered a new one. He even brought over some complimentary olives while she waited and fairly soon after the manager personally brought over a freshly cooked replacement which was piping hot and delicious, and they even took it off the final bill. All in all a very good meal for good value. Very grateful to our waiter for sorting out the fish so quickly and professionally. Also grateful for taking it off the bill along with gifting the champagne. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Brighton Cote is a great restaurant. Food and service was as good as ever. However on this particular Saturday evening, noise levels were greater than usual ( one large group!), and three dishes, including a special, were unavailable, as they had been very busy earlier. However, still a very enjoyable evening.

We've enjoyed Cote, and especially the Brighton one for years now. Often chain or group restaurants seem to slip in standard (Jamie's as an example), but Cote never has. The food is great quality - everything we've tried. This time it was the steak tartare and the parfait, then the duck and pork as mains. All really lovely and good size portions (matters to me). The staff are and were really welcoming and fun, whilst still professional. It was my partners birthday, and the guys gave us a nice Kir to start with and a special (not over-the-top) birthday treat at the end. The evening at Cote, Brighton was perfect, thank you.

I love going to Cote and having not been for a while my friends and I booked for a pre theatre meal. All the food was lovely apart from two of us who had ordered the steak frites. The steak was tough and sinewy and we ended up leaving most of it. On the plus side the frites were great! The tarte provencal was delicious as was the creme caramel.

Chefs should work better on details and quality of the food. Presentation poor and without a logic.

Lovely lunch with friends visiting Brighton. Great food, good atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Menu has a good choice, finished off with the creme brulee, delicious.

Service was a little slow but the main courses were delicious. We are regular visitors to Cote branches across the country and are never disappointed. Shame there isn't a local branch in Bedford or Milton Keynes.

Issue with the Formule bill which bizzarely couldn't be resolved. Waiter forgot our hot drinks with breakfast, one of which was served later than the others due to the 'wrong eggs' apparently. Only minor quibbles, we remain loyal if mildly frustrated Cote fans.

We were shown to our booked table quickly and efficiently. The server brought us the menu promptly and asked for our drink orders. We were given enough time to make our food choices and although a large party had arrived just before us our food came quickly. We all opted for the 2 courses for £11:95 & everyone agreed that the food was delicious. Again we were given enough time to make our dessert choices and these also arrived promptly. A very pleasant lunch was had by all.

I was lunching with my Grand Daughter who was just down from University and we both enjoyed the overall experience. We have both been on previous occasions and it is one of our favourite venues.

Frequently come here to meet friends because of good choice of food and friendly welcoming staff. Never had a disappointing visit.

Food, presentation, ambience and waiting staff, superb!! The attention to detail and pleasant manner of staff was refreshing. Although we sat in the garden, the main restaurant was classically decorated and felt cool, airy and spacious.

It was good that you had some vegan choices and some outdoor seating. I was disappointed there was no vegan option on the set menu; it meant I had to pay more than all of my colleagues. Overall I would go again, however I'd probably look elsewhere first as I'd like to find somewhere that doesn't make me pay a premium for eating vegan.
