Côte Brighton restaurant

My wife and I have visited here many times. living in Essex and driving to Brighton we combine this with a day out. Great food and atmosphere, and very accommodating.

Same old story at this branch, they warn you the plates red hot and actually it's not, so you end end eating half your meal cold. Staff efficient but no personality, randomly serving all the tables in the restaurant. Don't know why we keep going !

Food are not as good as before, except side dishes Fritz and green salad. We ordered 2 chicken and duck breast. Which we have them before. They came around 5 mins after we ordered. The chicken were so tough and dry. The duck breast still a bit pink in the middle but totally dry out. Obviously they were cooked and just heated to us. Disappointed.

As usual good food and service. Although we were in a corner table by the window there were times we could hardly hear ourselves speak. One of my friends found it very difficult as she has hearing difficulties. There was a table nearby who were very rowdy!

Despite my first two choices being off the menu, the chicken was delicious, the banana crêpe was a triumph and the waitress incredibly helpful and charming Reasonably priced unpretentious food, nice atmosphere and attentive staff-a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Great speed of service and friendly. Food amazing apart from one of the cuts of lamb being a bit chewy but thats lamb 🤷🏻‍♂️

There was a very nice table which easily accommodated 6 of us plus pram. Service and food was really good and we had a great family lunch.

Taking 3 Grandchildren to a Restaurant is never easy but at Cotes ur was very easy Food is for every age. Adults had calamari starters with bread and butter for the kids Mains of duck for us and sausages and mash for them Desserts if ice cream was part of the dinner deal for kids Service was efficient as always

Had the August special, Cote de Boeuf. As always, quality of food and service excellent. Enjoyed the complimentary aperitif.

A quick pre theatre visit so not much time - the waitress was great, didn't have to wait very long, the food was just as ordered so all in all a very enjoyable visit - will return!

Early evening set menu very pleasant and good value for money. Overall design, particularly sound deadening floor tiles helps to keep noise levels down

It was as well we had booked for Cote on a Bank Holiday weekend evening, as Brighton was full of visitors and the restaurant was busy. Another great meal. We were dining with a friend and appreciated the friendly, unrushed service. A very pleasant evening.

Dined with 3 friends, good food and atmosphere as ever at Côte. Service was good and offer of free Kir Royale was welcome.

Going to Cote first then the Theatre Royal is just the best evening. Kir Royal to start then the pre theatre menu the chicken salad is fantastic, large glass of Rose just perfection

We went on a Bank holiday Monday evening, the restaurant was far from busy, not even a third full, yet at least 4 tables in our section remained uncleared for the duration of our visit. I even overheard our waitress telling customers what an anti-social personality she has! On the upside the restaurant was very nice, stylishly decorated and the food (prawn gratin starter and roast duck breast for main) was absolutely delicious. The service just wasn’t quite up to the mark sadly.

First time disappointed my husband & brother wouldn’t complain but the chicken was very dry, staff good as usual.

We were upstairs at a table right by the stairs - there were many empty tables so not sure why we were placed there. No atmosphere upstairs and a bit dead. Food ok.

Good food, we shared the chateaubriand. My Kir royale arrived minus the cassis but the water took it off the bill. We had a complimentary bottle of wine as I had signed up to the Newsletter - a bargain

The restaurant is a lovely building and lovely inside. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was tasty. Just a great evening.

As always the food, drink and choice of dishes were excellent. Highly recommend the season August cocktail using grapefruit and sparkling wine. The service (our waitress was Beata) was superb - Beata was friendly efficient, polite, helpful and great fun which added to the enjoyment of our dining experience. Cote consistently provides fantastic dining at a very reasonable price.

Lovely meal at Cote Brighton! Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We got to eat outside as it was such a warm evening which was such a nice experience.
