Côte Brighton restaurant

Not the best experience however the mistakes were rectified very professionally and breakfast excellent and good value even though the restaurant would not let us pay

First time here after a recommendation from friends of ours who are regulars for personal anniversaries. Apart from not being told there were no more potatoes available for my partner's main before it turned-up (substituted with fries without asking) I have to say everything was pretty much spot-on. Attentive, polite staff and beautifully cooked food. Won't be our last time as there's plenty of good-looking dishes that need tasting.

Never disappointed by the Brighton restaurant, we sat upstairs for the first time which was just a little bit stuffy needs some ventilation but the food and service was great.

Great experience and great quality food. The dining area was a bit too loud due to tables being too close to one another.

Wonderful experience, had breakfast in the lovely outdoor area in the sunshine. Our food was brought quickly and our waitress was excellent.The breakfast formula is great value,£10.50 for choice of food,juice and hot drink, we would definitely recommend Cote and will be back.

Too noisy, cannot hear conversation at our table. Soft furnishings needed.

As usual my lunch date with my friend Penny went without a hitch. Had our favourite Calamari, then linguine(mxd seafood). Sat in the garden at the back and before we knew it ir was 5.15. Allowed to chat and no disturbance. Thank you to all staff wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Gin and tonic went down well too.

We enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. Prices are very fair too.

Particularly lovely staff, great value food (really loved the ravioli) and most pleasant atmosphere.

My partner enjoyed his meal. I was very disappointed with the goat's cheese dish. The cheese was like a tough piece of rubber. I lost a pearl earring. We were on table 24. Our waitress went to the restroom and found it, so a very special thanks to her.

There was a party of 20+ next to us. The excellent waiting staff found dealing with this a challenge. I do wonder if these bookings are counterproductive to the atmosphere and smooth running of your resaurant.

Usual excellent food and service. Noise levels at little high due to hard reflective floors and ceilings. Not much you can do about it.

Great friendly welcome. Good service, waiter very customer focused. Food as always hit the spot. Atmosphere excellent. One downside should serve vegetables with the Fish Parmentiere....hopefully spelt right! A wonderful experience.

Often very noisy but much quieter at Sunday lunch time

Not as good as last time. How could 3 x orders of steak &frites vary so much . First portion passable, lettuce and watercress garnish. second cover steak was well over done, no garlic butter provided and minimal garnish of watercress. 3rd portion overdone but served with garlic butter no green salad or watercress at all. On the whole most disappointed. Time was 13:45 on a Sunday restaurant at best 1/3 full, so really know excuse, desert was ok.

Outstanding service and food. A lovely atmosphere with staff who treated us with professionalism and courtesy.

I love Cote and overall everything was fine. My partner had the Sirloin steak and said it wasn't well seasoned though. The kids linguine was a bit bland too. The service has definitely got much slower in the Brighton restaurant the last few times I have been although they all remain friendly and try to be helpful. Had to remind waiter about one of our drinks. Has Cote thought about doing a cafe gourmand? Would be ace if they did.

To be honest after eating here on a regular basis, it was probably my least favourite visit. Service was average from the start Food was well below par and the timing between courses was terrible

Côte was up to it's expected professional standard. The service was swift, courteous and answered all our requests. It is always a pleasure to dine at Côte and i have never had a bad experience & I look forward to returning!

Love Cote and never had a bad meal but wish i knew how to say its name 😉

I love Cote experience always lovely staff and food. My only gripe is this is the second time my guests Brandy has not come in a Brandy glass . This is quite important if you drink Brandy.

Amazing environment/atmosphere and fantastic service. The food was great too! We like to have long, relaxed meals and not feel like we’re having each course forced on us before we’ve barely finished the previous one. This was perfect as it didn’t feel too rushed but didn’t have to wait too long for each course either. Staff were friendly and responsive.

Friendly reception team member greeted and seated us 5 ladies. Waiter was attentive and efficient

We had a lovely time. It was a pre-birthday celebration with some special friends we don't see often. When I arrived the lovely lady on the door wished me Happy Birthday and then 4 Kir Royales arrived at the table as we were ordering our food, which was first rate as usual. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Just a perfect experience. Thank you so much.

It is our favorite restaurant and the standards are always very high , the food is a joy and the staff are a delight just attentive enough without being intrusive , well done to you all . it was also my wife"s birthday so they made a special effort on her behalf ",Always the little touches that work and are appreciated .

Great early evening menu, loved being able to have a "proper" meal before going to Komedia. One small point, egg on my croquette not as hot as croquette. Still delicious and didn't mention then and there as we were short on time. See you again soon. Xj

Really helpful front of house, arrived early with my partner who wasn’t feeling well. Was brought water and bread straight away (which is what he needed to improve his blood sugar levels). We were then able to enjoy the rest of our meal without my being afraid that he would pass out on me. Lovely meal, service and ambience.

Food was delicious and service was very good, definitely going back again.
