Tornado Rossini was absolutely delicious but waitress could have smiled!

Disappointed with food and service, Booked for 6pm my partner wanted a burger, sold out I would of liked scollops sold out. Really should of walked out then, but we had a disabled friend with us, who was unable to walk very far.v

Lovely restaurant, we had a late breakfast which was delicious and very good value. Service very efficient and friendly. Knocked a mark off as the ladies toilets were not the cleanest, especially since they did only been open an hour or so on a Sunday.

A great atmosphere- we loved our waitress and the food . Well done !

We always have an excellent time at Cote. The food is just amazing, the service is superb and the environment is enjoyable. My son really enjoyed the three course child menu.

Great food, but disappointed with desert as my banana on my crepe was blow torched, not caramelised. No acknowledgement of my Birthday. Great service.

The food continues to improve: despite the restaurant being busy for Christmas, all the food was incredibly tasty. I would have preferred my fish soup to have been warmer (or at least as hot as the bowl), but I was too pleased with the taste to complain.

We had a brilliant meal, coupled with excellent, polite and efficient service at a reasonable price. We were made to feel welcome the minute we stepped through the door by professional and caring staff. Well done to everyone. We'll be back especially as I loved the Breton Fish Stew!!

Booked online as usual but forgot to mention it was my wife’s birthday, when mentioned the waiter soon rectified the situation with a complimentary kir-royal which was much appreciated , nominally a birthday cake is presented but this never arrived & it would have been akward to ask for it in front of her, The food & service were fine

Booked our table on line. When we arrived table was ready at 5.15pm. Was going before visiting the theatre Royal. 1st impression very good. Got given menus etc. They did say this was their busiest night of the year so far. We ordered our drinks & food at the same time. Bit disappointed our food arrived before any drinks. When this happened I did ask if we could get our drinks. Food was lovely but experience not great as would have liked to have a drink before our meal arrived. Food was good but my steak was only luck warm. We did order off the Saturday night special menu before 6pm. I do wonder how long the steak was already cooked & sitting it kitchen! We had table in middle of restaurant and it was very noisy but it was full so no fault of restaurant. Just disappointed our drinks did not arrive before our food. It kind of ruined the whole experience of going out for dinner.

Unfortunately the food wasn’t as good as it normally is at Cote. I had the Fish Patmentier. It was dry and basically just mashed potato. The plates all looked slightly baron, I appreciate it was incredibly busy and our waiting staff were doing a great job. Real shame as we frequent Cote and all 6 of us felt a bit let down this evening

A good family breakfast experience at Cote- good quality food served by staff who ensured that both children and adults received a personalised experience.

The menu was very limited, which is to be expected at Christmas, but the food was well below the normal standard. It all tasted pre-cooked - almost supermarket ready meal standard. Very disappointing.

Arrived on time. The restaurant was very busy. Our table was not available as occupants were slow to leave. The manager was very apologetic. I admired how she and her staff handled the situation and their style set the tone for a very enjoyable evening. Friendly staff and excellent service.

We will visit again next year for my wifes birthday................................

A nice meal with friends was sadly spoilt because of the table we were allocated. We were right in front of the door which meant we were continually buffeted by cold air every time anyone entered or left the restaurant Also the staff used the wooden partition around our table as a sort of service station and trays of food were continually hanging over our table The waiting staff were right next to us throughout our meal coming and going with trays of food and talking amongst each other so loudly that at times we couldn’t hear ourselves speak I glanced at them a couple of times hoping they would get the hint but to no avail The food was nice but difficult to really enjoy because of the constant noise and interruptions

My food arrived cold also my friends food was dry we both reported this to waitress who took the more expensive meal off the bill quite disappointing this vist

Arrived on time but had to wait 10 min for our table to be readied , when seated was told there were two main courses not available, service was ok but slow , we were there so long I nearly missed my train home

Fabulous meal, attentive staff - the only reason I have given 3 stars is due to the size of the table for two - it was totally inadequate and made me feel uncomfortable once the apperatives/starters/wine/water arrived - just way to small. Do us all a favour ( including your staff ) and give us all some room to enjoy our meal !!
