Always a great experience. Just a bit upset by my main course. It was not up to your normal high standard. What a pity.

Welcoming staff, great atmosphere and superb value for money! We chose from the a la carte menu to enjoy your offer of a free bottle of wine and enjoyed the Bouillabaisse which was excellent.

We enjoyed every minute! We were served by the charming French Pauline, who made our evening even more enjoyable. I took advantage of the January offer of £9.95 early evening meal, and my son, daughter-in-law and grand daughters enjoyed their choice of dishes. My husband and I are regular diners at Cote Brasserie in Salisbury near where we live.

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, good service. What more could we want? Perfect.

It was all very nice. Not too noisy today which I like. It was good to see Danielle again and to catch up with her. Is it correct that cote might come to eastbourne. What about Worthing where we’re moving later this year.

We really enjoyed our meal. We had a 5yr old and a 7yr old who also loved the children’s menu which is excellent value. The food was superb and the service v good. We also had a delicious free bottle of Merlot thanks to the January offer I saw on Facebook! Thank you!

The venue was stunning, only exceeded by the food and service. Thank you for accommodating the additional guests at short notice. The online booking was surprisingly easy.

Booking online was both speedy and convenient.When we arrived we were offered a choice of 3 tables seating two persons.Once seated our waiter attended us within 6 minutes and took our order.Within another 12 minutes ,after we enjoyed our complimentary Kir Royales,our food was served.Considering the restaurant was very busy with Saturday lunchtime diners this service was excellent. We love the ambience of the Church St,Brighton outlet but to be fair we have eaten also at 6 other Cote restaurants and have always received first class attention.(we must be your most boring clients as we always order the same combo steak frites and creme caramel to follow) Keep up the good work Keith Forshaw .Cote client for over 10 years.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Only thing that could have been improved was service at time of booking.

Cote is my favourite restaurant in Brighton, we always go for special occasions as the service we receive every time is exceptional. I don’t think I receive service like it anywhere else. 10 out of 10. Food is great always and presentation is great.

We cannot say how lovely and helpful our waitress was who's name was Michela she really made the whole experience a much nicer one - food was good better than we have had before so hopefully we will be back soob

Cote is always a very nice experience. Staff excellent and the food is always very good.

Everything was great apart from where we sat. Behind the curtain by front door . Very crafty so will not sit there again.

The range of choice on the Vegetarian/Vegan Menu was exceptional. Three of the five of us are vegetarians but we all went veggie becasue the choice was so good. The service was un-fussy and un-hurried and the food quite wonderful.

Very pleasant meal, January menu included pork rillettes starter with sourdough toast pieces, delicious, my wife had the tasty parsnip soup. We both had the French equivalent of cottage pie with individual side dishes of petits pois. Prompt and attentive service even as the restaurant was getting busy.

Had a lovely birthday evening , Jules the manageress made us so welcome , attentive staff. And lovely food, Cotes is our favourite restaurant in Brighton

I think if you offer a set menu, £9.99 you should have a similar gluten free set menu for the same price rather than scratch off what you can’t convert into GF. Other than that it was good.

Having been a regular at Cote for many years I am afraid my visit on Tuesday was very disappointing. Previous experiences have always been enjoyable in all areas. On Tuesday (the restaurant was nearly empty) we were seated next to 4 Eastern Europeans who were loudly skyping on their phones. Even though I had requested a window table which was granted, we had to ask to move as the noise and disturbance was totally unacceptable. The staff were fully aware of the inconvenience this was causing but did nothing to moderate the behavior of our fellow diners (perhaps mobiles should not be allowed). Having moved we were then served luke warm food and bearing in mind the amount of people eating again the experience was not good. My friend who was visiting from York (where we frequently eat at the Cote there) has also recently had luke warm food presented and has sent it back. It has really been a disappointment and I will be giving Cote (York and Brighton) a rest for a while but will hope to return and regain my faith in the quality and value that I have experienced in the past. Another triumph at Cote Brighton. I received an email showing the January offer of 2 course set menu £9.50. I booked a table through the app to get the offer. Had a great table and we chose from our set menu. I had parsnip soup, my husband had pork rilletts with sour dough. It was all perfect! Our mains came. I had chicken with mash and mustard sauce, which was really tasty. My husband had cottage pie and peas. Although we were just having 2 courses, we had 3!! Choc pot, very rich and velvety, and iced berries with hot white chic sauce. All this for £11.95 each. We always eat at Cote and are never disappointed. We've never had a bad meal there. Top class customer service whenever we go. The restaurant is very well run. Great value this set menu!

We had a late Christmas /New Year gathering and were pleased to be given a table upstairs - the service was great as was the food. Would recommend.

Good food, friendly service. An ideal place to go for a pre theatre meal
