Côte Brighton restaurant

The food was lovely, service also good. Unfortunately, there was a very raucous hen party of 20 women in the restaurant sitting right next to us. The waitress offered to move us in between courses, but we declined as the hen party was impacting on the whole of the restaurant, so moving would have been pointless. The hen party were making some of the staff feel on edge, and their behaviour would have been more appropriate in a different setting. When I think of Cote, I don't imagine it's ok to stand on the table.

Nice atmosphere very buzzy and in an interesting building, good place to have pre theatre meal. Service efficient and attentive. There is a vegetarian menu (on request) in addition to standard menu both have averiety of choice. Food on both menus reasonably priced and very tasty.

Stylish decor. Friendly attentive waiting staff. Gluten and dairy free, no problem at all. Lovely food, hot and cooked to perfection. I do like the filtered water in stylish flagons, drink as much as you like. My partner said his wine was good quality. A very peaceful experience.

Always reliably good food and charming service at Cote. Had a quick pre theatre supper- such good value and very convenient. Will continue to return

I'm a regular customer at Cote but often pop in on the spur of the moment so have just started to book on line. I always enjoy the food and services of professional pleasant staff I give it maximum points..

Friendly welcoming and efficient service. Very good options on the great value 2/3 course set menu. Tasty, well presented food. Always an enjoyable experience at Brighton Cote. I highly recommend this branch of Cote which I rate higher than the various other branches of this chain I have visited, as much for the staff as the food.

We managed to get the table we wanted. This is one of our favourite restaurants. The food was excellent as usual. Service on a very busy day was good.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely staff very helpful and friendly. Wonderful lunch will be going again. Birthday lunch with my grandmother she was given a free glass of champagne and was just a lovely place to spend lunchtime. Would recommend definitely

Excellent service, very attentive staff. The food is delicious and the dishes never fail to please. Love the special offer deal they do before 7pm which makes the restaurant affordable for all.

The foods and service are very nice. The mussels and the fish pie are my favourite. The price is medium, good for small party between family. To be honest, when my parents come for my graduation I will bring them there!

Very good value. Delicious food and good service. Roomy and pleasant atmosphere. Saturday night very busy but staff had time for everyone. Half of my wife's rib eye steak was grizzle and she left it. When the waitress asked her why she left it, she explained that it was grizzly and uneatable. The Maitre D' came along, profusely apologized and offered the desserts on the house.i

The great thing about Cote is that you get exactly what you expect to get. The menu has just the right selection and variety of dishes to meet any palate and culinary need. The food is always well prepared and hot. The staff always attentive without being overly so. Its a great place to take friends, knowing there will be something on the menu they will want to eat and it will arrive perfectly prepared with the minimum of fuss. Perfect.

All lovely and great service as per usual. Only thing was our complimentary kir royales which were accidentally added to the bill. Was quickly rectified though.

Not as good as usual. Possibly different chef. Service, as ever, very good but steak was a bit tough and under cooked and chocolate pot wasn't the best sadly. We will go back though as we like this restaurant and hope it was a blip

We had a lovely meal in Cote Brassiere, the staff were very friendly and professional. We enjoyed our evening there, this was not our first time at Cote Brassiere and we will definitely be back.

Good food, great atmosphere, and very helpful and cheerful staff, especially when singing "'Happy Birthday" to my wife. Even booking the reservation on-line was very clear and straight forward. Would recommend.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived & taken to a nice table downstairs.Our complimentary Kir Royales were swiftly bought to us (My Birthday).Great service from friendly & efficient wait team & delicious food....Definitely will recommend & return

Great venue, great choice, great food, great service - as always. Can get very noisy when full so prefer to get there earlier. Got another date there soon .....

Pleasant and attentive staff, well organised and efficient service even though the restaurant was filling up and just about full by the time we had finished our meal. We will continue to use Cote at home and on holiday because the quality and service appears to be good at all locations.

Excellent customer service and the food was lovely per usual. I had never visited the Brighton cote, but it was wonderful. I can't wait to book another dinner.

Good service, good food, good value. we have eaten here several times over the last couple of years and would happily recommend anyone to eat here. This used to be brighton Music library, hence the room is large......and can be the noisy when busy, particularly if you sit in the central area of the room.

The service is fantastic, the Brighton restaurant is the best run Côte I have been to. Always the same, good level of food. Brilliant team.

We had excellent food and paid sensible prices. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. The whole experience was delightful.

Most attentive staff,nothing to much trouble. Food was well cooked and nicely presented. We said we needed to be out within an hour as we were going to the theatre, and this did not faze them

Service busy 25 min to wait for a waitress to be served, veal uncooked sent back in to kitchen...came back and got derved the same piece still not cooked properly. The staff try to sort out the problem and acted well where shocked the kitchen sentvsame meat out. They did take it off the bill but the damage for the group to eat nicely together was already done.

Nice buzzing atmosphere. The set menu, served before 7pm, is great value for money. The food and service was pleasant. We will definitely be back.

It's a lovely restaurant in a good location. The food was good, however I found the cod goujons tasteless. There also isn't a separate allergen menu so there was a limited menu for me to choose from. Overall a good restaurant and I would recommend it.

I would recommend this restaurant, excellent service and food. I use this restaurant on a regular basis and have never been disappointed with the standard.

Food was luke warm. Everything else was spot on as usual friendly staff, lovely sparkling wine nice atmosphere.if I came again for breakfast I would ensure it came hot

Great food, great service. The caramari was the best I've ever had. We have been to this restaurant before and will definitely be going again.

Great lunch place and great food, however, I was meeting someone and as we both arrived separately, we were also seated separately for 15 minutes until the staff realised that we were waiting for each other - a better mechanism for ensuring 'matching'. Unusually it took ages to have food order to be taken so it was 45 minutes before we actually started our lunch... This time rated 4, previously much higher.

Lovely atmosphere , staff very attentive despite being very busy in the restaurant . Tuna was cooked perfectly , however chicken was slightly over cooked , we did mention this to waiter .

This is a lovely venue with reasonably priced food and great service. It was disappointing to be told they don't sell any cocktails (especially as there are two on the menu!) and the vegetarian options are very limited (two things on the menu). But a lovely experience and very good value.

Cote has a lovely relax atmosphere and all the staff are friendly and very accommodating. Overall the food is very nice but on our recent visit, 2 from our party of 6 ordered a desert from the specials menu and unfortunately were left disapointed. I must stress that this is not our experience on previous visits but this rating is based on our recent visit.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The service was excellent and the food exceeded all our expectations. A wonderful experience overall and we are looking forward to another visit.

Restaurant was very busy (full by the time we left) but our table was ready on time; food was as good as always and the service was friendly & efficient. Altogether a very pleasant evening.
