Fab service fab food fab experience distancing worked well a fab evening

Service was brilliant, considerate and kind which meant a lot to us with our little boy. Food was excellent too. Thank you to all the team.

Felt fairly safe Covid wise, though late in our meal a table was filled next to us which we had been told would be left free. The food was good, though not very impressed by the frozen berries as the white chocolate sauce seems very thin. Service was friendly and efficient.There does tend to be a feeling you are being "pushed through" a bit swiftly at times which I think happens as restaurants become chains and turnover is important. Overall a pleasant evening.

Fabulous meal and wonderful staff who went out of their way.

First class service and perfectly cooked sirloin steaks. Highly recomended.

The staff was lovely and very professional, and the mains (fillet and chicken) were great. I just would suggest the chefs to put as much effort in their sides as they put in their mains. The beans were undercooked and completely unseasoned (they were literally just boiled beans, no sauce or nothing special), and the spinach and fries were the same. The desserts we had were magical, and I hope you make your own vanilla ice cream because it was superb. But yeah, please do consider changing the sides a bit, because they really made me think “this is such a shame and not worth the price”.

Very nice lunch staff knew who ordered what without prompting

Waiters are a little to fussy asking what drink we wanted twice within 5 minutes of arriving. They mean well but I feel like they are always hovering. Food great but not amazing, pork a little dry. Love the ambiance of the place and with government subsidised meal it was worth the money.

Lockdown has not made any difference to the superb service and food at Cote. It is as good as it has ever been.

Booked a table on Thursday 20th August for Tuesday 25th August (5 days before). Got to the restaurant, was seated, then was told more than half the menu wasn't available due to a failed delivery from the supplier. When ordering, we were then told a further dish wasn't available. Of course, this is out of the restaurant's control however you could have called me or emailed me to let me know about the unavailable meals as everything we wanted wasn't available. Honestly, I feel like I was purposely not contacted just so that you could have the business. Really disappointed. I wouldn't have minded if I were contacted before hand. As a separate point, a rating out of 6 stars is extremely misleading - if people see many 5 star ratings, they will think it's the best when actually 6 stars are the best.

Had to cancel a birthday lunch in March and April because of Covid19 so it was wonderful to be able to visit Cote Brighton this week for belated birthday lunches. The same lovely staff still there and food just as good, even better with the bonus of Eat out to help out!

Everything was perfect but I felt there was shortage of beef in the beef bourginonne. The young lady that served us was extremely pleasant. We sat outside at table 3 or 4 and I believe her name was Emily. Will definitely come again and hope we get her again to serve us. Perhaps , just a thought, you could change the menu a bit, feel it's getting tired. Do quite understand there are no specials because of Covid. Thank you Cote, see you soon.

Lovely meal on the terrace. Boeuf Bourguinon delicious. Rain stopped play so we moved out to the front. Have had 3courses during the Eat out period. Never disappoints.

My friend and I have met for lunch at Cote several times. The food is always good, the menu varied. The staff are very attentive and friendly and on a warm sunny day we like to sit in the delightful courtyard at the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere inside is always buzzing and lively. We would both have no hesitation in recommending Côte as a great place to eat.

the waitress Adraina was amazing ... She is a credit to Cote. Update and happy .. attentive and focused. Its always a delight to eat out at Cote even more so in these challenging times. Well done menu is the only thing that is limited at the moment . hopefully the specials will be back soon :) Hence the reason for value for money was slightly lower

Having had cote at home deliveries during lockdown in the Lincolnshire Wolds it was nice to visit Brighton and lunch at Cote. Excellent service and great meal. Visiting again.

Lovely meal, great service, would have given 6 stars but quite a few dishes on the menu not available.

Simply awful. We were unable to eat and had to leave as so little food was available. We had particularly booked for the lobster and were told when we were seated that due to poor deliveries there was no lobster available or lamb or pork belly. We were disappointed but the menu still looked good. When our waiter, however, arrived none of the starters we ordered were available, so we moved onto just main courses, only to find that the fish wasn’t available and then that the restaurant had no chicken. It was clear despite a full restaurant there was nothing available for us. We left. Staff were most apologetic but the evening, our first trip to a restaurant since lockdown, was ruined.
