We had a very good experience at Cote Brasserie in Brighton. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good quality. Thank You
have never been disappointed here. Food is great and good portions without being wasteful. Service is friendly, attentive and the atmosphere in this wonderful old building is great!
Always great food here; unusually slow between the starter & main course. Helpful staff who go the extra mile to be polite and responsive. Gluten - free options.
We always have a good meal at Cote in Brighton. Great food, lovely staff and their lunch menu three courses for £12.95 is excellent value.
Good food today and nice to sit out in the garden on such a sunny day with shade to keep us cool. We enjoyed the lunchtime specials at £12.95 for three courses. Very good value for money.
Great welcome, a choice of tables and good service. I was surprised they didn't have horseradish available and that the Steak & Frites came without salad but otherwise a very pleasant meal
All round excellent! Food... Wine... Service... all top drawer! Friends came down from London for the day and I booked a table for after the matinee performance on a very hot Saturday. We were given a table in the window which was fully open and a gentle breeze accompanied our dinner! Thankyou for a great meal Cote!
Very good bistro food. Unpretentious, well cooked and presented. Attentive friendly service. Great location for the Dome and theatres. Would have rated a six if at least one vegan option for each course and if sparkling water not so expensive.
Brightons most friendly and well managed restaurant which consistently gives you the quality of food and the service that you want to be confident to return time after time knowing that you will walk away feeling you have had a great experience. Best on Brighton
Good food but waiting time longer than usual. Fixed price lunch menu very good value and serving staff pleasant. Altogether an excellent choice for lunch.
Very busy popular French themed restaurant. Shown immediately to a table we had booked, quieter upstairs which was what we wanted. Food delicious and service good.
Staff and food good , shame we waited so long for our pudding which was only ice cream and then had to rush it to get to our show..
\We were given a choice of seating. The staff were lovely and the food/wine delicious. My husband finds the stairs to the toilets difficult, so the waiter pointed out the disabled toilet on the ground floor. I know it's not much to most people, but it made a huge difference in that he was able to relax.
A very nice luncheon with a friend before a theatre visit. However the publicised two or three course lunch at a set price didn't seem to me to be very obvious, and our one course each, one miniscule pot of fries, one wine and a soft drink far exceeded my planned budget. There was also an amount for service which was added into the final amount and, because I didn't want to look fussy as I was treating my friend, I simply asked them to take the full amount. On examining the bill at home I would certainly not have added nearly £6 to my bill for service. The staff were all attentive and friendly but I had to ask three times for a little bread to accompany my meal. Once bitten, twice shy, I would probably not go back again.
Great welcome. flexible enough to cope with different diners at different times with different dinning requirements. Good food and good service with a smile. what else is there to say?
The staff provided excellent service and the food was excellent food. We enjoyed al fresco dining in the courtyard which was a very lucky extra treat.
Excellent food and service as ever. Really enjoyed the occasion. I cannot fault the restaurant. We will be back very soon. Free kit royals helped!
We had a really enjoyable meal on our Wedding Anniversary. The food was excellent and I appreciated that my rare steak was actually rare! Service as usual was very good.
Great staff - very accommodating, no problem to set us up a table (party of 8) outside. Wide choice of food, arrived in good time and was delicious.
Our only criticism was that it was very noisy today as there were too many mishaps; one of our starters was smashed falling to the floor en route to the table so there was a minor delay in commencing our meal. This was shortly followed by the clatter of a salt grinder having been knocked off the bar and only a few minutes after that, out of sight, another crash indicated yet another accident. Otherwise the food was up to standard and the staff cheerful and willing.
it was very good, the waiters and waitresses was very fast, organised. The food was very good and the room was very charming. I am happy youpi!!!
Excellent food with timely service in a wonderful outside dining area. As always, the experience was the usual good value for money with a perfectly based summer menu.
Cotes was great good service nice tasty food only thing is i like to tip myself and not have it added on to the bill at the end otherwise wonderful time
Service was poor and because someone in the party asked for well done steak. They served a shockingly small portion, that was cremated . We celebrated a birthday and weren't made to feel special at all.
Really friendly and amazing food. Definitely come again. Staff were really nice and chatty. Would 100% pErcent recommend to friends and family . . .
Having been a few times now am finding the menu a bit boring. The welcome on arriving and attention from the waitress for our table was 1st class
Service a little slow to start but after that all was FAB! As always. Great value on the set menu, good wine at reasonable prices, great service. Always feel so welcome there. While it is a chain, it never feels like one. it is always a favourite of ours.
My visit to Cote Brighton was excellent. Food good, special menu during week up to 7pm good value. Premises well maintained and always clean. Staff professional and all charming.
It is always a pleasure going to Côte in Brighton. The staff are so friendly, the service is impeccable, the food is a treat - and great value - and the ambience is excellent.
Friendly welcome, great atmosphere, generous portions and tasty food. Service was attentive but not in your face. Spent a long time chatting and the team were happy for us to leave us to it, bringing more bottles of the Cremant when we needed them! We'll be back, I am sure!
As enjoyable as ever. The only blip was that the avocado in the "crab mayonnaise with avocado and dill, served with sourdough croutons" was too unripe to be edible.
Normally love Cote but service was under par and ordered items forgotten or incorrect on 2/3 courses. Drink spilled by accident but no offer of help given or new napkins goven throughout whole meal, even though the waitress was there when it happened. Charged twice for spilled drinks also. Would have taken service off bill (which was already added to bill, even though there were only 2 and a half covers) but too awkward to ask.
I went for a lunch with my friends to my local Cote Brasserie in Brighton. The restaurant was very busy. The food was good, as usual and he had a good time. The conversation was difficult because of the noise surrounding us. Well, everyone else talked. like us. I'm afraid that my favourite restaurant is becoming the victim of its own success.
All fine without being outstanding. Steak was quite fatty and gristly. Quality in Café Rouge is much better. Staff good and atmosphere buzzing so that helped.
Cote restaurant had Lovely food and very nice ambience and the lunch time set menu is very good value. The complimentary kir royal was appreciated too.
Warm welcome - really nice on a wet evening. Food great. Really buzzy and nice ambience in restaurant. Will visit again when next in Brighton.
Lovely lunch with the ladies. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, friendly service. Great value! Menu had lots of variety and everyone loved their choices. Well done!
Loveky. Indecently quick service- made me want to go for another round!! Only gripe was no butter was offered , probably not the worst plan with a cooked breakfast and brioche, but would be a nice touch.
Excellent as always! Good service and yummy food. It was busy when we arrived as we'd booked for 6.15 pm but still had very good service from friendly staff.
Consistently good. Great food with charming, friendly service. The only thing that let it down was no loo paper and a leak in the Ladies loos.
Laid back meaning little pressure of time to order. Staff really friendly and engaging. Food as good as always. Atmosphere is great. It's become a regular haunt.
Food good service was reasonable, didn't warrant the 12 1/2 % service charge... summer pavlova was lovely but need more meringue.. good luck with family
We have visited Cote many times, sadly last night the service was poor. After waiting over 30 minutes we had to ask for the waiter to take our order, this should not be the case. Having said that the did food did come quickly.
Another superb meal at Cotes Brighton. Excellent menu and very good value for money. Staff are always very attentive. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
Lovely food, service okay (waitress seemed to want to be anywhere but at work). Given a complimentary drink for a birthday which we were then charged for... it also didn't help that we had four drunk, lecherous men next to our pre theatre family gathering.
Pleased to report that this week service had improved compared to my last visit last week . Food was good but rather surprised the duck parfait from last months set menu was served as the terrine on the set menu ,I didn't mind as I enjoyed the duck parfait last time .It would have been nice to be told it was different from what was stated on the menu .that is why you don't get a perfect score ,we regulars do notice little things like this .
Food and service very good. Plenty of choice for the set menu Restaurant staff welcoming and helpful Excellent value for money. Would recommend the Restaurant chain
Found it to be tonight a slow and inaccurate service, waiter seemed stressed. Food was barely warm and was either under cooked or over cooked.
My arrival was very smooth - my guest was already waiting at the reserved table after having arrived slightly early. The service was slightly slow as it was a Friday evening and the house was full, however the food was good: there was a wide choice and our selections were very tasty. Despite the full restaurant we were not hurried out and were able to continue our conversation without hassle after the dessert dishes were cleared. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and very reasonably priced.
Cote Brighton has amazing decadent feel about the place. The breakfast we was amazing, I had the Vegi Breakfast which was very tasty and my husband had the Eggs Benedict which he loved. The staff were both helpful and attentive but never intrusive a perfect experience 5*.
