Excellent food. Excellent service. Always a first rate meal here - more than I can say about our experience in London recently which was awful!
Absolutely fabulous meal. The waiter was so very attentive and polite. Food was beautifully cooked and presented. Lovely atmosphere within the restaurant just a shame they allow smoking on the table at the front as this does drift into the restaurant when the windows are open.
Our visit to Cote in Brighton was, as always, excellent in every way! From the friendly welcome to the service, the food and drink. We especially always enjoy the ambience at Cote.
Busy, buzzy restaurant, service slow due to its full capacity, good venue for going onward to the dome theatre. Food reasonable for a chain restaurant with prices accordingly.
All fine as usual. Waitress not as good as normal attention. Lovely premises. Music discreet. More changes more frequently to the menu would be appreciated
Great food and atmosphere, and Cote has always been a high standard. Though the menu doesn't change that much there is plenty of variety. However the new dish of Breton Tomatoes for starter was fantastic.
Very friendly service and delicious food for the price. Convenient city location and relaxing atmosphere inside. Great choice of dishes and drinks to accompany them.
The service was excellent and the complementary drink in honour of my friend's celebration was a lovely surprise. The food was delicious too so we had a lovely lunch. We'd recommend it highly!
Good nuno was amazing !!! X Good nuno was amazing !!! X Good nuno was amazing !!! X Food was alright as well Thank you
Great service and amazing food well worth the money can't wait to go back again, all waiters always had a smile on there face thankyou!!!
I felt the waitress wasn't as knowledgeable about the menu as I would have expected. She tried too hard to upsell side dishes and in particular one that was already included in a main course. Also the type of sides she recommended weren't really suitable with some of the main dishes, i.e. creamy spinach with a creamy fish dish. These are my reasons for not scoring my meal higher. On a positive note, the wine was fantastic!
My Wife and I ordered from the lunch menu which was 3 course. The food was light and flavoursome and just right for a lunchtime. Our waiter, who was Portuguese, afforded us just the right amount of attention and was extremely pleasant
The service was very slow - especially just getting some initial drinks and the chicken I had was dry. Hopefully this was just a one-off as I have had great meals there before now.
Very nice evening. As usual food was good and we all enjoyed our dinner. I was with some friends from out of town, who had not been to Cote before, and they were very impressed. We ate from the main menu which I think is a bit on the pricey side, which would be my only slightly negative comment. On the whole I like Cote and the early bird fixed price menu is extremely good value.
Excellent food and service, price slightly high especially the 12.5% service charge. I prefer to add this myself depending on the quality of service .
Great food, great service, as always. Lovely 'July' menu, and juicy steak. Creme caramel is simply the best. Consistently the best restaurant for quality and price.
Once again Cote came up trumps. It would have been a 6 if we had not had to wait nearly an hour for the first course to arrive. Our Portugese waiter was excellent though having only arrived from another Cote a couple of days before may not have been as aware of the systems in Brighton. Otherwise the food was excellent and great value as ever for the July menu.
Great food, splendid atmosphere, friendly and efficient service. Very good value too. A delight as always. I would highly recommend Côte in Brighton to anyone.
Wonderful food as always & such good value for the lunch special menu. Service was excellent & always with a smile. I am a regular visitor at Cote (mostly Brighton) & I have never been disappoint.
Great food great service and ambiance. Good location and plenty of seating. Great selection of starters mains and yummy deserts. Very good prices. The Breton Quicken is to die for
The service that we received was great and all staff were extremely accommodating (especially when we mentioned that it was a birthday celebration); was a lovely place to have a birthday meal! Food was superb!
Lovely birthday celebration with family. Super staff and enjoyable atmosphere. We are regulars there and tonight was mor special, the waiter was newly transferred from toen's restaurent and best served we've had in a while.
great meal but hugely overpriced ie flat bread with caramalised onions and 3 slim slivers of cheese almost £5.00 , one scoop ice cram £1.95 a bit to much for size portion
This place is always consistently good value and an enjoyable experience. Great food cooked perfectly and the service is always top notch even during busy periods.
We love going to Cotes. The atmosphere is always good and both the food and the service are excellent. We have never been disappointed with either. We can't wait to go again.
Fantastic service and food was delicious. Stunning building. We dined on a Saturday evening and nothing was too much bother. Booking recommended when we visit Brighton again we will be back to Cote.
Great buzz in the restaurant, amazing food with attentive service. We had a 7 year old with us and he loved the choices foe him too.
We had a very enjoyable evening sitting on the outside terrace. The food was delicious. However, the service Not withstanding that we still had a great time and we will be back again.
The food came out virtually as we'd ordered, we felt very rushed. Also the tables are too close together so you feel on top of other diners.
we thoroughly enjoyed the special 10 year anniversary meal which was accompanied by a glass of delicious bubbly. The service was very good and the ambiance in the restaurant was calm and relaxing . Brill ant evening thank you
Great service, excellent food, located in the heart of Brighton with all the buzz around you. Busy, lively but with the high ceilings not claustrophobic.
Very slow service and over rated over priced food. Waitress was brilliant though. Never go to this restaurant when an event on at the Dome
Was amazing food as always but service tonight wasn't great it was very busy but the waiter was very slow in between courses in taking next order and getting the bill
Excellent service and food. I would highly recommend this place and am very pleased to have found this place so close to the Brighton Dome.
The restaurant was too hot and our table was not in a very good spot, top of stairs. Three side dishes were so late arriving we told the waiter not to bother. The food we received was good but I was very disappointed over all. I have always had good experiences in the past.
Lovely venue and great food and service was brilliant. Never too long of a wait and all the food was brilliantly cooked exactly as asked.
Always a pleasant experience with good, reasonably priced food. Menu changed regularly. Waitress was a little intrusive and forgot side plates and extra water but otherwise all really good.
Service good on Friday although is was busy. Atmosphere fab. Set menu was delicious but could have had more main course, of mussels. Pudding chocolate mousse was delicious. Love the building in Brighton.
The food was really good. I had the prawns to start and the duck confit for my main. The service was quite poor. There was no attention to detail. No salt and pepper on the table, no small plates for the bread and dirty glasses. A lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Overall a good experience and I will return.
Great food and wine, ambience and service. Booked to table of 6 online which was easy. Will certainly look to return in the near future
Always a delight to eat here, never feel that we are being rushed out. Best to book, as very popular! Staff are always attentive and cheerful.
Two of our party had the tuna salad which turned out to be over cooked rather like leather. The service was also very poor - I had to go and look for the waitress on three occasions.
We ere after a quick supper after work and had a lovely seat near window, great service and tasty food and wine. What more could you want!
Service was pleasant but erratic, one side never arrived and we had to re-order one desert. Food was bland and rather dry. So, OK but nothing special
I am a regular diner at Cote and have been since it opened. I find the service is always cheerful and attentive and the food most acceptable.
the tables were too closely packed together , we were served hot wine but this had to be changed , the waiter was very pleasant and tried his best .
Unrushed service. Food was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and even though busy were given the table of our choice. Good selection from the menus.
the service was good as ever. the asparagus risotto was a little bit stodgy, and not up to the usual standard that is expected from Cote.
This is my favourite fish restaurant and one I chose to go back to many more times. The food is cooked fantastic and the service is just as good, friendly and attentive.
Absolutely brilliant , atmosphere in there was amazing , this time we could see properly I think it was because we sat near the bar and away from the enterance
