Côte Brighton restaurant

Went for a pre theatre dinner with friends. Food came quickly and staff were friendly. Good atmosphere and great value for money. Beetroot starter disappointing but calamari and steak and frites were tasty. Lovely creme caramel to finish with. All plates clean!

As ever the food is amazing and service level pretty good for a busy restaurant in the centre of town. Tiny niggle was that no one checked with us after dessert and we therefore waited a while to order coffee, no biggie but constructive feedback :-)

The restaurant gets very busy, but you can still lose yourself in at your own little table. The wait staff are amazing and regularly check on you, asking how things are, pouring more wine. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious.

Food well presented. Staff attentive. Bit noisy but expected. Not sure about the 12.5% added gratuity, even if it does go straight to the staff.

Fantastic evening at Cote on Saturday 30th September. Billy was amazing with us and would highly recommend this restaurant for it's wonderful food and outstanding customer service.

Busy, Thursday evening but still received a warm welcome, then we were treated to efficient, friendly service. Great choice on the menu and delicious food - really enjoyed the whole experience.

Food was good, but mains served before we had finished starters. A kechup stain on the edge of the table which I requested be removed was subsequently not removed. Service pleasant and - apart from the above - efficient. Was given the window seat I had enquired about days earlier, albeit not guaranteed.

Excellent meal and friendly service at a very good price. We had not visited before but the location was ideal after we had been the theatre.

Such lovely staff but shame it's so hot in the restaurant upstairs, can't believe the staff stay so cheerful and look so chilled! Great food too.

Excellent service as usual. The food was well presented and of good quality. The staff are polite and efficient. The table we sat at was clean and was ready for us on arrival.

A really enjoyable evening, with branches in many areas it's a great place to meet up with friends, each one maintains the same excellent standard. You can depend on Cote for great atmosphere and excellent food with the added bonus of service that hits the right note, friendly, efficient without being overbearing. The wines are well priced too. Over the past few years Cote has always been my first choice!

Great food and the early evening menus was so good for value. Service 👍 the resaurant seating was good and not to over crowded. We will be back soon

Cote was buzzing on a Friday night, great atmosphere and a friendly welcome from the manager as we arrived. Super table for four in the window area. Menu and food good as always. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and meal in Brighton.

As ever a very enjoyable meal. Despite being busy (always a good sign) the standard of service was not affected and the food up to the usual good standards. Côte Brighton a favourite among the locals and look forward to my next visit.

Delicious French food as usual for Cote-great value 3 course lunch menu for under £13.. the service was excellent - cannot fault- will be back again!

Really enjoyed the veal on the a la carte menu, which was served nice & hot. The service was excellent, as were the staff .

The Brighton restaurant is very centrally located. I love the ambiance - lots of lovely atmospheric lighting and very well laid out. My friend and I enjoyed our meal from the set menu, which had plenty of choice and everything was well cooked. My friend loved her sea bass and I enjoyed my butternut squash risotto. Service was attentive, considering the restaurant was very busy and overall we had a great time.

As ever good food nice attmosphere at reasonable price. Service a little slow but as we were not in a rush it didn't matter greatly.

A disappointing visit to Cote, normally very good, this time the service was slow and not particularly friendly and the food was luke warm and the chicken seemed a little under done...

Service not up to their usual standard and general lack of attention. Food also below the usual standard and not really hot. Not happy from Hove as I had 3 friends with me who were new to the Cote experience!

Service was good , but we needed to have the food hotter. Although offered to change the main course we did not have time to wait. Employees were very good. Roy

Extremely friendly waiter , excellent service, however food delivery and drinks delivery a little slower than usual ( not waiters fault, think lunch time rush ). Quality of food still great.

The restaurant was busy but that didn't affect the prompt friendly service. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Only quibble with Cote is the automatic 12.5%service on the bill.

Excellent service ..great quality food competitively priced in pleasant surroundings. I should have booked outside..they have a beautiful outside area for a sunny day and I really enjoyed that area with my family.I strongly recommend Cote.

We got our requested seat by the window. The meal and wine were excellent. And the service was particularly good. A great evening! Will visit again soon!

Delicious meal and great service. Used my wine voucher so it was very good value. Have always loved the ambience and lighting which I think is extremely important.

We went on a deal where we were given a free bottle of white wine. Food was good but wine was not good at all - terrible actually

We enjoy this restaurant because the food and service is very good and the lunch & early evening sets are very good value. The ambience is great too.

We had a lovely meal. It was great to get something back for my guest's meal. We found the venue well set out and fairly easy to find.

We were met at the door and shown to our table by friendly staff. There was an excellent choice of dishes on the menu and wine list. This was a pre theatre meal so time was important. Our order was taken and the food was brought to our table promptly, but without rushing. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The food and win was excellent. All in all a very good start to a perfect evening.

Great welcome, really good food and wine. Overall a very enjoyable afternoon. My friend had the steak and I had the Breton chicken - lovely and we've never had such hot frites!

Very friendly staff, we were offered a choice of tables, followed by good food, and prompt service. Not always easy to get a pre theatre meal right, but they did it.

A visit to the Cote Brighton is always enjoyable. The atmosphere is buzzing and the waiting staff friendly and efficient. On this occasion myself and my friends chose from the set menu. The food was good but in no way exceptional. I chose the plaice with leeks. I found the fish a little under-seasoned and the leek sauce overly mushy and a bit rich for my taste. I'd have preferred a fresher tasting vegetable. One of my friends had the minute steak and complained that it was tough. Nonetheless, the meal and the very acceptable house wine was reasonably priced, and we had a good time.

Always a pleasant experience dining at Cote, brighton. The service from being greeted on entry, and being shown to your table, often with a preferred choice, and the waiting staff are always on point with their service and attendance to you though out your meal. The food, well! Has never failed to tick all the boxes, value that's never has compromised its full taste. One of the best dining experiences I always enjoy, for a lunch with friends to an evening meal before hitting the town, or the theatre!

Cote is my favourite restaurant good consistent food but unfortunately I have never enjoyed a breakfast there despite giving it a few goes. The tomatoes are always half cooked eggs invariably undercooked, soggy toast as some item put on top of it and usually not very hot apart from all that is a good deal

Food, service staff venue excellent in every way!!! Have been to many different Cotes over the years and have never been disappointed!!! Always ubelievable value.

This restaurant never fails to impress. Amazing value, brilliant, very friendly staff, great surroundings and perfect before a theatre visit or a girlie lunchtime outing.

Very nice dinning room menu good value but service tonight was poor, waited over 30 mins for my main course after asking, had to ask for bill. Not up to Its normal standard

Delightful staff - we had a complimentary Kir Royale as a Reward offer. It is always good value and always tasty food. We are regular customers for this reason.

Great to do breakfast again in Brighton.. The usual French toast, a great favourite, croissant and coffee. Great service, good atmosphere. Well done once again.

Marvellous as always, I've been to Cote in Brighton nearly a dozen times now, consistently good service and quality of food. My kids always look forward to the steak frites.
