Côte Brighton restaurant

Very nice evening was had by all. We especially enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine which made a nice accomplement to the meal and dessert.

Very nice food, attentive and friendly staff but sitting next to a screaming, demanding toddler which did not enrich the experience. The noise was piercing.

This is the 1st time we have been to this chain of restaurants. Overall the service was good although we had a couple of trainees around us. They were polite and although nervous looked like they would do well. The food was good and i was surprised as we had a mixed table with some of us having the fixed menu and some of the a la carte menu. I was disappointed with the lack of beers and ciders but there was a good choice of wines and not badly priced. I would go back again and try some of the other food on the menu. For Brighton its not the Salt rooms but may be the next level down but it is also not Salt room prices.b

As usual good food and service at reasonable prices. A winning combination! House red particularly good value. I would highly recommend for any size group.

Really friendly staff and extremely prompt service Delicious breakfasts and coffee. Fresh fruit juice. Great value for money - especially the 'formule.' Lovely open and bright restaurant.

A lovely tasty October set menu which was a very reasonable price. The service was very good. The restaurant is comfortable and spacious. Had a lovely time.

Excellent service - appreciated them giving me another sirloin when I found the first one very tough! Can’t fault this restaurant. Lovely food too - loved the chocolate fondant too.

Lovely meal, anchovy pissaladiere, crab mayonnaise, fish stew, lemon tart. Complementary wine very welcome. Great table. Small concern that service a bit too rushed but really enjoyed our anniversary evening.

The waiter was not the usual friendly waiter one might expect at a Cote Brasserie. He seemed to suggest he was doing us a favour - almost a touch arrogant

Really great food and great service. Visited with my partner and two daughters. We had a wonderful evening and there was such a great atmosphere. Will come again very soon. X

lovely food, good service, fantastic setting. The set menu for lunch and early evening is good value, but the portions are small, so you may want to order some sides or additional bread if you are very hungry.

One of the best restaurants where one is never disappointed. Food is excellent and the restaurant is always full which denotes how popular it is.,

This is my favourite restaurant in Brighton, however, yesterday the food was not up to it's usual standard. It was packed with people which made the environment very noisy for a lunch and the food was nowhere near as nice as it usually is!

Both food and service were excellent. Great atmosphere and would highly recommend. We had been out all day on a team building event and this was a great end to the day.

Beautiful entrance. Lovely Maitrade. Nice atmosphere away from the hoy paloy of Brighton. My wifes vegatarian gluten free menu was wonderful looking and very tasty

Very enjoyable evening, food and service spot on with very attentive staff, a very recommendable dining place. Also for parking there is a car park with in walking distance.

From when we arrived and had a warm welcome to when we left the service was wonderful. The food was great lovely quality, and because it was of the early evening menu the value for money was exceptional, overall a lovely evening, can't wait to come back again soon

Pre theatre dinner at Cote Brighton. The staff were lovely from the minute we arrived. The food was good and certainly gave value for money. Service was prompt and courteous.

A very pleasant informal atmosphere in a lovely large space (Brighton’s old music library) with friendly service. Cote offers typical French brasserie food that is good quality and reasonably priced, particularly if you choose the set menu. Cote Brasserie Brighton is hard to match, either as a place to meet up or to celebrate an occasion with friends and family.

Food was excellent and service fantastic - friendly, personal and efficient. Great location particularly for Brighton Dome, restaurant is very attractive if a little noisy when it got busy due to hard surfaces.

Excellent Autumn menu wonderful staff highly recommend the beef bourginon and the steak tartare starter is a must have, all in all a very enjoyable evening

Great food and although there was a mix up with one of the starters it was quickly remedied. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

This is a great place for a meal prior to concert at the Dome. Great value, good food and speedy service. Will definitely come again.

Excellent service and good food. The only blemish is that it is a shame that when a beer glass is provided for a cold beer the glass was still warm, obviously just having come out of the dish washer.

Always reliable - another good meal from Cote. My companion was disappointed with her haddock which was dry but my fish pie was excellent. Sometimes it is all a bit rushed and our waitress was less than friendly.

As always received a very warm welcome at Côte, Brighton. We were shown to a lovely table in the Bordeaux Room. Service was great. I had the chicken liver parfait, and pork belly both signature dishes and excellent. A memorable evening.

It is always a joy to eat in Brighton Cote restaurant. The staff are really friendly, the service good and the food never disappoints. We ate from the early evening fixed price menu which was excellent.

The service and meal were both very good. The food was cooked perfectly and was very fresh and tasty. We had a table upstairs which was quieter than downstairs which was much nicer to talk without shouting. Great evening

The service today was a bit slow but the food was its usual good value and there was the fun buzz of a busy bistro

Food great. Very noisy in window area- even for those without hearing aids. Chips on stairs down to loos- staff should have noticed & not have attention drawn to them.

Polite and efficient staff, nicely paced meal with gaps between courses but not too long. One minor error over ordering dessert which was quickly sorted and did not affect the overall experience. Good quality ingredients, interesting and varied menu well presented. Wine good and all reasonably priced.

The food was nice but the portions seemed small this time. We all had the set menu but I've never commented on the portion size before.

Tonight was excellent from start to finish. Superb service. Perfect food. No complaints. I believe the name of my waitress was Isabelle or maybe Isabella. Give that girl a gold star.

I met at Cote with a business colleague and some old friends to discuss a new proposed business venture. The surroundings were very convivial & the menu was excellent - so good in fact that we had great difficulty in deciding which of the items to order. They all looked so good. We made very tasty choices, helped by the fact that my friends (who live locally and had visited many times before) were able to recommend menu choices from personal experience. We were not disappointed - quite the reverse! Good value too.

Never had a bad experience at Cote - good choices on menu - food tasty - never hurried throughout meal - very good value for money - perfect place to meet friends for leisurely lunch

Very good food. Duck and Steak tasty and well cooked. Delicious desert from the specials board. Service was friendly but a little slow but they were very busy. Would definitely return.

Food is kinda going downhill, also service is going down with some waitress as well. Everything is so rushed. dropped fish stew sauce on my trousers. Also dropped another people’s napkin on your table as well. Almost like fawlty tower for that particular evening. Used to be better than this visit.

Friendly staffs, table always available whenever we visit which is good. Just need a little attention on food, my soup was a little bit cold, my companion’s steak was cold and chewy as well. We tried to get a staff’s attention but they were too occupied to notice us as we were sitting at the very corner.

As a regular at the restaurant the menu and food is excellent. However on this occasion the waitress was surely and nearly rude. The bill was incorrect by about £11 and had to be redone. However it will not put me off an excellent restaurant and will be visiting again soon.

With very friendly and attentive service and the usual exquisite food and wine. An all round enjoyable experience was had by the two of us.

Always have a great night here. Consistently good food & service and they brought me a Kir Royale for my birthday (the waiter had seen a birthday card on the table!).
