Côte Brighton restaurant

Excellent service. Despite being a lovely flavour, the food not as plentiful as normal and I felt that my Tuna Nicoise was a bit on the skimpy side for the cost.

I can honestly say that in all the years I have been coming to Cote at Brighton I have always had a fantastic meal. but please can you keep the crumble on the menu for ever, it's so good.

It was very busy for a Saturday night but we received lovely service and the food was very nice. We would definitely return again and would recommend

excellent food tho prices have increased somewhat £16.50 for my main course was pricey pudding portions are small for the price so we skipped dessert

It’s always got a good atmosphere ... good value for money, the menu has a good variety of different options and the service is great 👍🏽

Its a nice and easy place to go for a meal , although if its busy they don't seem to be able to cope too well with serving everyone in a timely manner (it was VERY busy when we went) & you do tend to be packed in like sardines- the food is always good and the crème caramel is wonderful but I would like to see the main menu change a bit - even with the specials, it could do with some new ideas.

The meal was very good and well served. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will certainly be going back to Brighton Cote.

We have vistited many times and always found the staff,service and food very good .it was for my husbands 70th birthday and he received a free drink from the waiter. A nice little touch. Slightly disapointed that 2 favourites were sold out but still lots to choose from Thank you

Excellent service, and very knowledgeable about gluten free requirements. It gets a bit noisy when busy, better sound dampening would be an improvement, but we couldn't fault the food.

The food was of the usual high standard good seats etc but although we asked for the meal within an hour as were going to the theatre we had a long wait and then we were nearly late

Very good food and service at reasonable prices. The room is lovely and we have eaten here a couple of times before going to the Brighton Dome which is just across the road! Would definitely recommend and return.

Love the food and the ambiance but they were so busy even turning people away and the wait for food was a long time making you on edge if you are off to the theatre or a show.

Excellent food, service and experience. Would certainly recommend this to other. From the fact that my requested table had been arranged to the price and temperature of the champagne, everything was right.

Used to love it but now seems to have got too popular. Had to ask for water twice - both times. Took 10 mins to get the water (both times). Items on menus cannot be altered by any degree - such as changing the type of potato served with the main. Service was good when it happened. Food was good. Ambience, loud and noisy.

Birthday dinner & had called restaurant when I booked to request window table & was assured "no problem". Greeted curtly on door & told not possible & I had to understand they have over 300 people in an evening! Food was very average & the gents toilet was filthy . Complete lack of interest by staff apart from our waiter who was attentive. Doubt if we will return.

Everything was very good and efficient and polite and welcoming. The only point I would like to make is that my main course fish dish, a special of haddock did not contain enough sauce for my taste and was slightly over cooked thus making is a bit dry. Otherwise all good, as usual.

Julia the manager was absolutely fantastic as always, she greeted my party and showed us to our table. Julia also insisted we book a table for Christmas Eve, we have booked for twelve people. The service today was great, friendly and the food as always was gorgeous.

Our starters took more than 20 minutes to arrive and main courses came after another 30 minutes. 2 of the mains were only lukewarm. Very poor service.

As always perfect dining experience, great service and delicious food. Disappointed we couldn't have wine with our meal because of Southern Rail, we had to drive. Looking forward to the next visit.

Pleasant but was disappointed that they had already sold out of the Roquefort salad I was hoping to have. It was only 7.00pm so not sure why they wouldn't have the I ingredients. Not s7re I would bother going there again.

Be aware that a 12.5% service charge is added to your bill. We didnt check so they got tipped twice. But food and service were amazing so worth the extra!

Another satisfying visit to Cote. Advance table request was fulfilled, service was attentive, courteous and prompt (had concert to attend at Dome), food was reliably good, and when we returned for pudds and drinks afterwards they were to my surprise accommodating. Thank you

Great service on a very busy night. Front of house staff superb. Food up to usual high standard and we enjoyed or free bottle of wine.

The service is always good, food is excellent . We had been attended and asked how our food regularly. The atmosphere is great and we do enjoy ourself.

Busy busy busy but great service and great value food 💕. Cote never let you down. I would recommend the winter salad followed by the fish cakes

It was very busy at 5.45pm this evening so service was rather slow. Lovely staff but overworked.Suggest employ more staff. Food was good. Nice ambiance.

I love Cote' in general, but this branch has got a nice and friendly atmosphere. Staff are very attentive, fast service including delivery of food. As always food is of good quality. The mushroom and spinach crepe was nicely served in a ramikin dish which was a nice touch - v - on a dish plate swimming in cream as we had in one of theri other branch. Would recommend and eat here again.

Good selection on menu, although my partners chicken leg skin in the Coq Au Vin was burnt, but otherwise food tasty and good. The service was rather slow, had to remind the waitress that we hadn't received the bread we ordered but had received our starters. The staff were rushed with large numbers of customers going to the theatre, but good atmosphere as usual.

Always good service. Always good food. We have recommended Cotes in Brighton to many people and everyone that has been there said they would return.

Great professional, polite, pleasing service at a time when the restaurant was extremely busy. Excellent food, good value and well presented. Nice bit of space around the table so despite it being very busy it didn't feel claustrophobic. A most enjoyable experience.

Staff charming but thoroughly overwhelmed. Chips Luke warm, steak barely that. Felt very disappointed as really love Cote! The restaurant was too busy for staff and I assume chefs to cope.

Good meal at cote before a show at the Brighton Dome. The staff coped well with a full restaurant all wanting to leave at the same time.

We had to wait far too long for our food and were late for our performance (we were there for one and three quarter hour.Staff were very good and apologetic in fairness.

After a very long wait the food was very disappointing. In fact we left most of it - mainly because it did not taste too good and also time was running out as we had to be at the theatre 15 minutes after we received our main courses! The staff were very nice and apologetic and did not charge us for the meal. Yesterday I ate at Cote in Reigate and last week at the one in Covent Garden and both were excellent. This meant it was even more of a let-down at the Brighton branch. I do hope some improvement can be made as it is such a nice venue and very handy for the theatres.

We love Cote! Not quite so good tonight as they were extremely busy and it took an hour for our main course to arrive. We were going to the theatre so had to miss the wonderful Creme caramel!

Although the restaurant was exceptionally busy we could not have had a more attentive service. We were advised of any delays in the service. The attention received from staff was far beyond any expectations. Well done to them.

Fantastic value for money. It's open through out the afternoon, so we did not have to rush for lunch. Excellent food and drinks are reasonably priced. What more do you want?

helpful staff. lovely food. good atmosphere if a bit noisy as it was very busy. However, I had asked for a window table which we got and a bottle of Cremant Bourgogne was chilled and ready as requested.

Quiet before 6 but became very busy by 7. Waiting staff all very pleasant and efficient. Set menu very fair price and pleasant with decent choices. The perfect pre-theatre I would say!

Beautiful restaurant. Really relaxed but high class atmosphere with excellent food and very efficient service. Great menu with plenty of variety to choose from. Will be revisiting.

Great reliable fun place to eat and people watch. Good attentive service in a relaxed setting. Food selection not widely extensive but good enough. A great bolthole in a very busy Brighton.

Party of five. We received Excellent food and service and always. Steak was enjoyed by half the party. Despite being very busy we did not have a long wait between courses
