Côte Brighton is Always great and the Service wonderful - Staff courteous and friendly Buzzing lively atmosphere The early evening theatre menu is fantastic value

Nice food, but restaurant seemed under staffed considering how busy it was. We were served by several different staff members, some friendly and efficient, some obviously feeling the strain a bit. I think management need to employ a few more waiting staff particularly near Christmas, one poor girl looked exhausted!

My first visit and on the strength of this I will be back very soon. Nice atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good menu choices. Great food. Reasonable prices. What's not to like x

Always very happy with the Cote experience. Excellent service, very good food and nice relaxed ambience. Have eaten in other Cotes around the country and have always had a very good experience.

We had a very nice meal. The waiter was polite and attentive without being overbearing. The food was well presented and tasted good. The price was reasonable for our overall experience.

Good valve food and friendly and efficient service. This branch of Cote is well situated for Covent Garden and Theatre land. The Christmas menu should suit people of all tastes.

As usual manager and staff very friendly. Food very disappointing. Crab starter was good. Main course chicken overcooked with a pitiful soggy piece of garnish on the side and food overall not very hot. No wonder as they have to bring everything up a number of flights of stairs to the table!

Really lovely food, great atmosphere and good service. Always busy on a Saturday night but food arrived swiftly as did drinks. Overall, a very good experience!

The restaurant was very busy but service was prompt. We both had Breton chicken which is always a tasty option. We found police stones which weren't ours in 5he bread. The waiter apologised and took the cost of the bread off the bill.

Excellent service and food. What a beautiful evening. The waiter was fabulous. We sat upstairs and was greeted with a lovely smile and a glass of champagne for my friends birthday.

An enjoyable meal and relaxing atmosphere. Good choice of dishes, which makes Cote an appealing place to eat, particularly as the good standard of food & drink seems to be consistent.

Food great. Service once again was fairly slow and got forgotten a couple of times.

Despite being at a busy time, the service was quick and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious- the favourite was the roast duck. Would definitely go again!

French Onion Soup was cold so had to be returned and then it was brought back hot. Service was very good from lovely French waitress and rest of the food was good. Wine was excellent. Overall very enjoyable.

Tonight was great food and service , always enjoy cote Brighton and looked forward to the next visit which is in less than 2 weeks :)

Great food as always, I always go for the pork belly and it never fails to please. The atmosphere was beautiful. The staff were really attentive and food came out in a timely manner.

Absolutely love Côtes! I received the wrong main meal, but that was swiftly made up for by offering a free dessert. Great service and house white wine crisp and fresh

Good selection and choice of food, so an enjoyable meal. Unfortunately once again, service was good to start with, but slow removing plates after main course and ordering desserts. Their 6.30 to 7.30 pm period needs more waiting staff.

Food good, service excellent. We were seated close to the front window which was a bit chilly. Just as well for the hot soup!! So if a bit cold and frosty somewhere else, don't sit by the window

I had the pork belly but there was no apple sauce as a condiment which was disappointing. Staff were friendly and we had a Choice of table.

Our starters came quite quickly but we then had to wait over 3/4 hour before we then got or mains we then had to take our bill to the till ourselves with many others trying to pay before going to the theatre because the service was so slow this made us anxious as we were going to a show.

Pre theatre meal. Service was quick and friendly, despite the restaurant being very busy. Food and drinks were excellent, Bill was accurate. A stress free experience.

It was my birthday. I couldn't have had a better meal or better service; the complimentary two glasses of pink champaign was a great start to the meal.

On this occasion, Saturday lunchtime, the restaurant was buzzing but the service was at its normal level. The staff are almost without fail very friendly. The food was as expected. The only criticism is the large number of different menus available at the time and so possibly too many choices. Better than too few!

Both the manager and the waiter were amazing from the off. Great quality of food and very good value in lovely surroundings. Will go again.

The food is always good value and the service excellent. The new set menu offers a great variety of choices and the waiting staff are attentive.

its always a great venue, nice staff and excellent food.. very comfortable venue. its always very popular whateer time you go there..we went for the pre theatre menu which was ample and good value

It was ok, had to ask for candles/tealights because it was too dark to read the menu. Great starters. Two of us had sirloin steaks that were quite gristley and not very tasty at all. Service was good and attentive as usual.

Sadly I didn’t think the meal was up to cotes normal standard . We did speak to our server at the time . This could be due to the restaurant being busy

We were disappointed menu hadn’t changed for quite some time food seemed a bit greasy . Service and staff quite good but on the whole seems expensive for what it was

Would have given full marks but someone was vaping at the table beside me and although the staff asked him to stop I think they should have asked him to leave

Great food served brilliantly.I eat regularly at Cote restaurants and always admire their menu choices.The Brighton restaurant is my particular favourite. I look forward to future meals with friends here.

This was a good experience as usual. The food is excellent and so well presented. The staff attentive, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant and the choice quite extraordinary. Would highly recommend eating here.

Offer of free champagne with Xmas menu only for 4 people and not 2 as advertised. Only after second / insisting mentioning to manager and showing evidence of advert (not mentioning this) did we get the champagne after all. So ok in the end! Meal and service otherwise excellent!

Excellent service but asked for tuna to be medium and it came rare, asked for no potatoes and they still came with the main course. However, manager was very helpful and I didn't pay for the tuna nicoise, so it will not stop me going again.

The Hamburger and chips served only weekends is superb and huge! My friend had cod coujon' which she devoured. Service was attentive and the place was full and buzzy, typical for Saturday lunch. Calamari were overcooked instead of a golden light coating. Nonetheless a great start to the weekend activities.

We had a meal booked for Brighton Cotes and the service I am pleased to say for far better than a precvious visis. Staff were attentive and food was excellent. We did order some olives that never came to our table, but on the whole a far better experience than our previous visit a few months ago, and based on last nights visit, we would recommend the restaurant to others, thank you, Maria Mayhew

As ever, we had a great meal in very convivial surroundings. The friendly staff and efficient service always make Côte an enjoyable experience and the quality and variety of the food is alway uniformly top-notch.

Had to sit upstairs as downstairs was full one table available upstairs so rather than Waite we took it. We would not go at a weekend again, unless they can guarantee a table downstairs. Food good as always service very good even on a very busy night.

Had a brilliant time - lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Stayed far too long talking, laughing and drinking, but no one seemed to mind . We will definitely come again.

A really lovely meal and in a beautiful building. The dauphinoise potatoes were especially good with the chicken. The service was efficient, helpful and with a smile.

Fantastic friendly service and food as usual, can’t fault it all. Can always rely on that with cote. Good value for money. We had a great table taking into account one elderly guest.

Do not like 12 per cent gratuities on the bill. I like to tip what l think the service is worth as there was three of us l thought nearly 17 pounds a lot.

Everything about our experience was excellent, the service and the food and drink. The young lady who waited on our table was friendly and efficient.

Nice food without being pretentious. Reasonable value, shame drinks wise there isn't a single rum to have. Service was fine although I always feels 12.5 % Service is a bit steep

A wonderfully buzzy restaurant with good food at a reasonable price. We go there whenever we want a meal out when we go down to Brighton. Many happy meals over a number of years.

Lovely food, as ever - and great value! Always pleased to see the boudin noir starter on the menu. A very enjoyable meal with friends, with excellent service.

Waiter/waitresses lack of attention as they were distracted by a particular customer and only half cleared our table before pouncing on we presume a famous person ....... lack of flexibility with menu due to not being able to physically eat a pudding but being charged for the Xmas menu !!!!!

It was a very good experience. The food was very well cooked, tasty and carefully presented. The service superb with attention to detail. Will certainly visit again.
