Booking easy, food and service great. Third time we responded to free bottle of wine on-line offer and every time bill arrives including the wine...

Great food. Only slight gripe is there are no specific Gluten Free Options on lunch/early eve menu. Otherwise fabulous and great value. Definitely worth a visit

My wife and I have been to Cote (Brighton) numerous times but this weekend we took my parents to Cote (Brighton) for a joint birthday lunch. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel special and so very welcome. The food was excellent and the service was attentive without being OTT. In September last year my father had a brain haemorrhage but has made a very good recovery and he has now got his appetite back polishing off French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon followed by Lemon Tart and ice-cream, all washed down with some complimentary champers. A fantastic treat for them both and a visit is highly recommended.

was fine, food was ok, calamari was nice, beef bourguignon seemed a little chewy/dry in a couple of mouthfuls but overall was nice however didn't finish it for that reason. Sat right by the door so was a little chilly when customers coming/leaving but nothing you can do about that really, service was great and really polite staff, would go again and maybe try some different items from the menu. Also expected maybe a our server at the time to suggest a bottle of wine with our mains, that would have added a nice touch when asking us what we would be ordering as some people including myself are a bit of a philistine to wine paring. but yeah overall, great.

A great evening for 6 people, good table where we wanted, great food and good service. Comfortable and fun - and rather stylish. I'm very glad we chose Cote.

we had a pleasant evening, food was nice but my steak and chips could have been a bit hotter, dessert was delicious. we took advantage of the wine offer, but were inadvertently charged, but this was soon rectified, service could have been bit quicker when waiting to pay, particularly as restaurant was not too busy. thought service of 12.5% was bit steep for a table of 2, but you get the option not to pay this as discretionary.

The restaurant was very busy and it took some time before we were able to give our order, but once given the food and drink arrived very quickly and was excellent.

It was a very busy evening at the Brasseries but it didn't affect the standard of service nor the quality of the food. As always an enjoyable evening.

Good food, good atmosphere, excellent service, what more can you ask for. This is our favourite resteraunt in Brighton and that's why we return on a regular basis.

Few rough edges today - very slow service and the restaurant appeared to be significantly understaffed but we were not in any hurry so it did not concern us. Complimentary drinks arrived at the same time as the starters (which took 30 minutes) and unfortunately appeared on our bill at the end of the meal. Main courses were very good; dessert order never turned up and since we were attending a concert we had to leave. These little issues were swiftly resolved by the general manager as we left and overall we enjoyed our lunch.

Having never been here previously you are always a little apprehensive of how the whole experience will be, but found a very good choice on the menu which was served by very helpful and pleasant staff. It will certainly not be our only visit to this restaurant.

Good starters of crab and French onion soup ,the whole sea bream was strong. A second one was prepared but came back raw in places. The manger gave us free desserts and sides. .

From the time we entered the restaurant, the staff were friendly and efficient, all the food was presented well and the mains were all served hot and without exception tasty. There were 8 in our party and 2 were celebrating birthdays, the staff went that little extra giving both a glass of bubbly and when the desserts were served each received theirs with a candle and happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate which was such a nice gesture and appreciated. We would definately recommend the restaurant.

Very noisy; suggest the background muzak be turned off at busy times. One of our party has hearing difficulties and the loud noise level was most unhelpful.

We had an 11 month old well behaved baby with us and it felt like it was an inconvenience to them, the drinks took forever to come to the table and the bill seemed very high for what we had we go in there a lot and it’s never that much especially at lunch???

I do like this restaurant but a bit disappointed today. Starter was nice but the chicken salad main left a bit to be desired. Chicken was limp and tasteless and virtually no sign of the walnuts and avocado. Altogether very bland and quite a small portion.

V nice place, staff friendly and helpful, food excellent except for the leak vinaigrette which was impossible to cut and difficult to eat - I should have sent it back. We still had a good evening and will continue to use Cote, our favorite restaurant.

Been here several times and each time have been impressed by the quality of food and service. I always think that given of the volume of people eating, the food or service will suffer - but that doesn't happen. It's always high quality food with a great service to match. It's a lovely place decor wise and well worth a visit.

A little disappointing as all the waiting staff disappeared halfway through our meal to have their meal. This meant I had to go downstairs to ask for assistance from a member of staff. Also a service charge was added to both the food bill and the drinks bill - which we challenged.

The food was lovely and the wine also. No complaints about the service either. I'd have give it 6 but I felt the tables were packed in a bit too tightly and more space and privacy would have been appreciated.

We had a really lovely Saturday evening! Cote was buzzing as usual - a lovely lively atmosphere that always puts us in celebratory mood. The food was delicious - we tried the lamb rump, new on the menu and it was succulent and cooked to perfection with tasty accompaniments. With it we enjoyed an excellent complimentary bottle of wine. We were made very welcome and the charming waitress looked after us well. All in all a great experience- I can thoroughly recommend the Brighton Cote Brasserie for quality, value and ambience. We'll be back again before long...

Service was a bit slower than usual but otherwise the food was good. Bit more gravy on the 'weekend' chicken would have been good. Perhaps if I had asked for some they would have brought some anyway.
