Côte Brighton restaurant

Good service, we were seated promptly outside and the starter was delivered within 5 minutes of ordering. The Creme Caramel is deservedly their signature desert - it's to die for. Nice atmosphere and good food and wine at fairly reasonable prices.

Always lovely food and good service. Especially nice for brunch. The restaurant is attractive and the seating well spaced. There could be better choices for vegetarian/ vegans. Why do all restaurants have goats cheese for veggies? I personally hate it.

Very good service all evening . 2 excellent fish meals . 2 steaks over cooked and not what was requested but other than that the experience was good . Still a pricey restaurant

I love Cote and usually have a lovely meal. This time however the meal was too strong on garlic. I love garlic but not when it over powers the flavour of the food it is supposed to enhance

An excellent meal, as always. Helpful staff, delicious mussels followed by three very different mains, from the Menu Prestige. The seafood linguini was possibly the Star dish, but Cod in Bacon and the half chicken were very moist and delicious - Simple dishes but difficult to get right.

Friendly service and nice food at a fair price. We used the restaurant to meet friends for lunch and were not rushed. It's a regular chain restaurant so no great surprises but does what it sets out to do.

As usual, a really good relaxed dinner. Attentive staff on a very hot early evening. The wine I usually have was not available due to a successful promotion but helped but an alternative was suggested and I declined Ice was brought for the water which bI was only too glad to drink The sea bass I think was also of the menu but I greatly enjoyed the duck. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Polite , friendly and efficient waiter did his best to rectify shortcomings in the kitchen, ie a poorly produced, stodgy risotto. Cote is normally super -reliable and excellent value for money but imo this branch falls short.

Tasty food and attentive staff as always. However, more expensive than we were expecting as we had chosen off the Prestige Menu rather than the Daily Lunchtime menu by mistake (needed to turn the menu over! Too busy chatting! Our own mistake)

Good meal. My duck was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Disappointed the garden terrace wasn’t open as we had chosen this restaurant because we could sit outside in this lovely weather and asked for a table outside on the booking. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere although is a bit noisy. No idea why they play music.. you can’t hear it, just adds to background noise. Staff helpful and friendly

Delicious food, delightful surroundings on the terrace and excellent service . I have eaten at three different branches of Côte, in London and Brighton and have never been disappointed. Thank you Côte.

As always, good food coupled with good service leads to a very pleasant dining experience - and good value for money. I will keep coming back for more.

unfortunately the service was very slow, as this was a business lunch we were on a tight schedule and it took over 2 hours for 5 diners

As always, the food and service were excellent. We had a really great evening. We were given a lovely table and were very well looked after by our waitress.

Lovely venue, lovely staff, great food, great value for money. The only negative I have is there was no fish or veggie option on the weekend specials menu.

Very helpful staff .Food was adequate without being memorable.Nice restaurant clearly well managed .Service quick and attentive But the food is obviously pre-prepared and re heated and not cooked to order. I totally understand this but the price charged is a little high for this style of restaurant.

Well received at 4.45, booking in place , Given good choice of tables and we picked the 'garden area' . Service was prompt, the meal courteously served and most excellent value .

Greeted by pleasant front of house guy and offered choice of a table upstairs, on the terrace or in the main area. We chose to stay in the main area. Our waiter was pleasant and cheerful and our ordertaken. Disappointed that the information about the weekend specials wasn’t available inside the restaurant. Our drinks and main course were delivered promptly but the noise level in the restaurant was awful. We were next to a table of ladies celebrating a hen party. Conversation became too difficult and we decided to save our breath for later. We gave a sigh of relief when the ladies departed and were looking forward to ordering and enjoying a dessert. However all available staff then helped clear up after the hen ‘do’ and we were left holding the dessert menus and just watching. When the waiters had cleared up and finally asked us if we wanted to order, we hadn’t got time. Whilst we were waiting for the bill, another large group came in to sit at the newly laid up tables and they were noisier! Food is okay and reasonably priced, but I think this will be our last visit.

Great location near the Royal Pavillion and not far from the seafront, pier or train station. Very friendly staff and good food as always from Cote

Went for a business lunch with a client. Good food, good service. Would go again. Cod goujons particularly good. Not badly priced either. Left happy.

Another visit to this spectacular location in Brighton,s plc Music Library. A family birthday and happy face all round! Tha food,as ever was good.service good an all round ambience fun.

Eating at Cote always feels like a much more expensive experience. Excellent service and delicious food. I love Cote. It's my go to place for celebrations and casual lunches. We had a lovely evening celebrating two new jobs and my daughters qualification as a solicitor. Thank you ,Cote

Amazing food and atmosphere! Well worth the visit! Great evening!!

The restaurant has a secluded terrace at the back, perfect for a late lunch/early dinner. We had a really nice rose wine- recommended by our French waitress - which not only tasted good but was a very beautiful shade of pale pink. Service was perfect and there was a cooler area under a very large sun umbrella - to retreat if the sun became a little too much of a good thing.

Lovely meal at Cote again just unfortunately that kitchen forgot our mains and table next to us ordered and were served and ate their starters and mains in time it took for our starter plates to be cleared and mains to be served. The staff were very apologetic and thankfully we weren’t in any hurry

excellent service as always and excellent food .Plus the restaurant had a lovely garden area so we could enjoy the al fresco style eating and atmosphere

We had a great dinner at Cote Brighton yesterday before catching the train back to Victoria. The service was good and friendly. One of us ate from the Prestige set menu and the other from the a la carte. Food is good from both menus and well presented. It was a hot evening but we sat near the window and the resturant was air conditioned anyway. We'd definitely recommend this Cote Brasserie!

Excellent food. Friendly & speedy service. Not too noisy to impact on our conversation. Only minor gripe - we thought the price of the lagers which were very small bottles was a bit excessive.

Excellent service, good food, lovely outdoor terrace. Close to the theatre for early evening dining. There was an excellent ambience helped by our excellent amusing waiter.

Have visited several times now - always a pleasure. Great food, efficient service and very good value. Maybe more staff needed to clear tables a bit quicker. Overall, a lovely evening. Will be back again soon.

A relaxed and leisurely late lunch with friends. The service was very good and the food was delicious with plenty of choice on the menu.

Great atmosphere fantastic staff only thing is that portion sizes are quite small. Maybe suggest increasing them as we left the restaurant feeling that we weren’t full. Overall a lovely evening we will be back small portions or not.

The food was excellent as usual and the service was exceptional. Our waiter was Joaquin and he was very attentive. We had a lovely table in the terrace. An all round wonderful experience.

Was a bit disappointed with the service and meal today which is such a shame. Been going to this restaurant for several years now so was surprised by the poor meal we received.

Very busy with lots of people using the garden in this beautiful weather. That did put a strain on the staff and service was slow but we were relaxed about it. We had a very pleasant Portugese waiter.
