Côte Brighton restaurant

As ever, Cote is attentive to service and food. The waiter was quite to reassure us that good was coming. The overall atmosphere leaves you feeling that every lunch there is a special occasion.

The Cote in Brighton has both a nice ambiance and friendly attentive staff. The food is always good, never had a bad meal at the Brighton Cote. Well worth a visit when in Brighton.

The welcome was warm and we were shown to a table of our choice. Service was very good, we didn't have to wait very long before both our drinks and our starters arrived. The whole meal was delicious. A very enjoyable experience.

Always a lovely atmosphere, great service, good food. We were slightly early than our booking, but that was not a problem. Never disappointed at Cote. Until the next time!

Good service. Shame the menu prices have increased so much by shifting many of the items from the Pre Theatre menu to the introduction of the Prestige menu.

Always good at Cote. I didn't have the fillet steak this visit but they are the best in Brighton despite being nowhere near the most expensive.

This my third visit here and took my husband, cousin and his wife, and as usual we’re not disappointed! Service excellent and food was the best we have had here....lovely early Saturday evening meal...thankyou

Very attentive staff without being intrusive. Despite being there for three hours, there was no rush to try and get us out. Food was excellent

Helpful service, nice food, although not that special. The melon was a bit hard. Personal taste, but I didn’t like t prawns. Lovely fresh mint tea.

Great food, great service, pleasant surroundings. I always enjoy eating with friends and family at Cote. Bonus was a complimentary Kir Royale to me and my companion as waiter overheard that it was her birthday

Great food and excellent service. Was a bit noisy at times. Would prefer to have tables a little further apart but appreciate that is not always possible.

We had a lovely post graduation family meal in the garden. The food was delicious and the service very good. Definitely a place to return to.

A very enjoyable meal at Cote Brighton. Service was warm and efficient, the food delicious. We enjoyed gin and elderflower cocktails , and they were refreshing and well presented.

Go to Cotes fairly regularly and they never fail to impress! Always have the special lunch menu and the food is always excellent! The Brighton restaurant is always a favourite and the staff very welcoming.

The steak was rather tough and chewy hence my lowmark the rest of our party enjoyed the meal but did not have steak their main courses were good

I’ve had an issue with my steak, it wasn’t properly cooked and the manager did everything she could to offer a great service: she brought back the steak, let me have another one proper cooked and offer a discount at the end in the bill! A fantastic attention to the customer! Very well done!

food excellent as usual . The choice on the set menu is getting less & less . There seems to be a big turnover of staff at this restaurant I've noticed & our waiters command of the English language could have been better

Great ambience,pleasant staff and good food. Took our granddaughter aged 9 with us and she loved the steak frites.We will almost certainly go to Cote Brighton again

We had 2 beautiful courses for £11.20 which is an amazing deal! The girl that served us was lovely, shame we didnt have more cash on us as she deserved more than the £2 tip we could only offer. Will always return!

Lovely place , staff attentive. Will definitely return , had voucher for free wine which made our evening more enjoyable, don’t necessarily agree with service charge

Extremely poor. Table we asked for given to someone else ten minutes before we arrived. Another table that they promised would be ready within ten minutes was not ready twenty minutes later so we left and had a great meal at a different place.

Lovely restaurant, food and staff. The steak frites is always a must at Cote. Would recommend this branch in Brighton for a nice evening out.

CoteBrighton is my favourite place to meet friends and eat and drink without getting an extortionate bill I usually eat from the early eve menu which changes every month and is great value for money The staff are friendly and do a great job Always a good vibe

Fantastic as always. Menu changes with the seasons but old favourites are always available. Warm lighting and exceptionally friendly service make it a perfect night out.

Great welcome and helpful staff. Lovely table in the garden with attentive service and great food. Menu caters for all tastes and appetites and does not disappoint. Côte has such high standards which it manages to keep going year in year out. I have never had a bad experience in any of the Côte restaurants over the years. Long may it continue,

Lovely environment outside. Unfortunately the waiter dropped a wine glass on table which broke and gave me a fright, then my warm goat's cheese salad arrived with a hair on it! My friend's pork belly wasn't very warm. Having said all that, although disappointing, very lovely staff.

You know what to expect from Cote chain - not fabulous but reliably good food at reasonable prices. The Brighton venue has the benefit of a terrace - perfect for our current Mediterranean summer.

Situated in a beautiful former high ceilinged store; spacious, if a little noisy on this very busy Brighton Pride evening. The Côte team were to their usual high warm and highly professional standard, as experienced at other locations. We were promptly served, and thoroughly enjoyed two hours relaxing over more classic French style food; reasonably priced wine and food.

My wife and I a lovely evening here on Friday night celebrating our anniversary. Delicious food, and the staff really looked after us - even bringing us a complimentary glass of fizz for the occasion. Would definitely recommend!

Great atmosphere and marvellous service so a wonderful time had by all It was Pride weekend so an extremely busy time which the front of house staff and all supporting team dealt with really well

Fantastic food and lovely terrace area at the back which was appreciated in this heat but the 12.5% service charge already included in the bill is a bit of a cheek.

Cant fault Cote in my eyes. Lovely food in nice relaxed surroundings and great staff. Its all very unpretentious and is always a relaxing experience.

Service a little slow and my partners crepes were tasteless, but the waitress never even acknowledged that most of her meal had been left and just took it away.
