Côte Brighton restaurant

Food and service always a very good experience - we are regulars at both Brighton and Lewes restaurants. Som e dishes are quite small and really need extra sides which add to the cost.

We had an excellent meal at Cote Brighton. The food was was excellent and the service was superb. Our waiter Nuno was both knowledgable and friendly. He had an excellent understanding of both the menu and the wine list. Helping particularly with a dislike my wife had on one item suggesting an excellent alternative and recommending a first class wine to accompany our meal. Although he was very busy we received attentive service throughout

Brilliant! From my entrance to my exit, I was looked after. Everyone had a job and did it. The food (moules and pork belly) was delicious. Very reasonably priced too!

The staff were very attentive, they were very knowledgable as a member of our party had a dairy intolerance so they had to check with the kitchen and actually came back with all the menu broken diwn with the ingredients. Thus is the first time we have beenngiven so much information. Very impressed

As always the food was excellent, and same relaxed atmosphere as you'd expect at Cote.

We were shown upstairs as it was busy early evening. Dined from the prestige menu which great value. Food and service pretty much faultless. Another highly enjoyable visit. Bravo Cote Brighton.

usual fast service with good food before theatre. The atmosphere is always good here and staff pleasant . Best to book if going early to a theatre or other.

Excellent venue and food choices. Always busy for the very popular pre theatre meals but very well organised staff make this a pleasureable visit. One of my first choice Brighton restaurants

Our favourite restaurant. We had a brilliant time yesterday evening, the welcome was very friendly, our waitress Pauline was outstanding and the food first class.

Cosmopolitan ambience and great service. A grown-up environment which easily accommodates children. Delicious provincial French cooking, and very reasonably priced, with a satisfactory childrens menu.

Excellent meal that we had with our family on Sunday.Everyone enjoyed our ourselves. Staff very helpful and made us very welcome. We will certainly come again

The staff here are always attentive and charming, and our food was lovely. It's a big spacious restaurant with more tables upstairs, and also on an outside patio area at the back, and is ideally situated for a pre-theatre meal if you're attending an event at the Brighton Dome, which is directly opposite. My only criticism is that the tables are very close together, so when it's busy, it can be quite noisy, and difficult to have a private conversation.

The food was excellent & good value. The drinks are over priced with 12 1/2% added on top. The service was very good, but once we had finished the waitress never bothered to ask if we would like our bill & it was not that busy. We had to ask a waiter that was passing by.

Always very consistent, fresh cooked food with a wonderful taste and French influences. For us la Cote is a MUST when visiting Brighton. Just remember to book!

Lovely atmosphere, quality food and excellent service. It was a very busy Friday lunchtime. We were not in any rush, so enjoyed a relaxed 2hr time slot. Will def return.

We had the lunch early evening menu, the food and service was excellent as was the house white wine. It was quite busy and the atmosphere relaxed.

This was a usual good visit, as have been all our previous visits. The service was good, as was the food, and good value fo the price.

Good choices. Good service. Good location. Genuine French style restaurant in the heart of Brighton. Great if you are going to the Dome for an event.

Had a wonderful evening celebrating my husband's birthday with our daughter her husband and two children. The staff made us very welcome. We will be with you next weekend with our other daughter and their family. Thank you

Very good but very noisy that’s a problem makes it very difficult to hold a conversation the flooring needs to be changed to dull down the noise then super the food is excellent and good value

Excellent service - attentative and flexible, even on a busy Friday lunch-time. The menu had a wide choice and the food was delicious.I would highly recommend Brighton Côte.

Dined here with my partner and both our mums. The atmosphere was lively and the waitress we had was delightful. She was so pleasant and friendly it contributed to the joy of the evening. The quality of champagne was excellent and so was the food. It was an absolutely wonderful evening.

As always, great ambience, food and service. I’d highly recommend Cote in Brighton, Cambridge and London. We had hake last night which was particularly good.

Liked the restaurant but was troubled by the billing process. We got the online Prestige set menu offered through Quandoo. The staff hadn’t heard of the offer when we ordered so needed to show it to the manager. On billing the way the bill was generated was a confusing muddle of pricing. This creates a worrying atmosphere for my guests. It was resolved finally correctly in the end but it felt like the restaurant wasn’t commercially prepared and someone was losing out. Nevertheless, Cote is always reliable for a pleasant evening.

Lovely meal, especially the crème caramel! Friendly efficient staff. The house white was not expensive, and just as tasty as the better known wines. Strongly recommended.

The welcome the food the staff what more can I say ! The fillet steak was cooked to perfection The desserts were lush Can’t recommend enough !

A fab night at Cote, great food and service always enjoy coming to Cote. Easily booked the table as well last minute. Fairly priced too.

Excellent food & great service. One of my favourite restaurants. Was quiet when we first arrived then became very busy towards the end of our meal. Even so, service remained good throughout.

Nice environment and friendly staff, to make you feel special. Really enjoyed the food. The Crème Caramel dessert is to die for. Had a wedding anniversary lunch with my husband, which was very enjoyable. We will be back, although we are not local. Thank you!

Excellent food and service as always. Very reasonably priced too. It is always my go to place to take friends for an informal and stress free lunch

The service was quite slow, however it is quite a big restaurante over 2 floors. The set menu wasn’t very forgiving for vegetarians or vegans which was a struggle, the mains were not huge but tasted very nice.

Back at Cote again today for lunch with a couple of friends - and once again (and as expected!) we were served with delicious food by friendly attentive staff.

Big restaurants with extra tables available in a courtyard outside at the back. Staff are always very welcoming and attentive. Good for steaks etc but also have vegetarian options.

Cote Brasserie Brighton reliably introduces new menus with well conceived and ably executed dishes while maintaining reasonable prices. With friendly attentive service and delightful surroundings, this makes for a very pleasant dining experience.

Excellent food and service as always. My friends always enjoy a lunch at Cote any day of the week. We usually go once a month.

The staff made our grandson's 18th birthday celebration very special. There were a glass of bubbles on arrival and a lovely chocolate written dessert. Thank you.

Staff absolutely delightful could not do enough for us, food as good as always! We were not happy with our Mains they changed it immediately with no fuss, it was delicious!

Côte is like our home! Our go to restaurant when out and about. As always the Brighton team looked after us and the food was its usual perfect!

Excellent, friendly service and very good value for money. We alway recomment Cote to friends who ask for adivce of where to eat in the middle of Brighton.

Good as usual, never had a bad expeerience or bad meal at Cote. And this time even got a boñus cocktail - good timing it was my wife's birthday.
