Perfect for a pre theatre meal as service is quick and food delicious

Menu is always tasty and varied. Lots of different dishes to try and entice you back.

We ate at Cote Brighton on Tuesday 23rd April. It is extremely good value. We don't usually have a pudding but we decided to treat ourselves, the crème caramel was delicious!

Post cinema, booked and seated very quickly. Food predictable standard and that's reassuring

Went to Cote in Brighton last week and going again today, good food and friendly staff

Staff were polite and friendly but the Restaurant was fully booked by 6pm because of an event in the Brighton Dome opposite and the staff did their best in the situation. We also had tickets for the Dome but decided to finish our meal and get into the Dome at the interval i.e. 8pm so missed the first half.

Waiting time longer than it is usually at Cote probably because of staff shortage. Asked for a mid rare steak but it was definitely overcooked. Asked for a tomato salad without shallots and shallots were there instead.

As we sat in the garden it was nice and peaceful, can be a bit noisy in the restaurant

The food at Brighton Cote is consistently good, but last night was particularly good. The Tart aux Mirabelles with cinnamon ice cream was a fabulous dessert. Pity that it is an April "special" and not on the regular dessert menu.

Very busy the evening we were there. Food came reasonably quickly but veg never arrived! Very unusual for Cote. Staff as always were lovely and very apologetic about the rush to get food out to customers.

I only have one complaint & it was dealt with very well at the time. We had to wait an hour for our starter. we had taken friends that had not been before, not sure they were too impressed but we had a lot of time to chat. The bill was adjusted.

Lovely food, great service. Needs more vegetarian options though as there’s only one and it’s risotto which is not always popular.

Good food, good value, friendly service. A bit surprising to find no table allocated to us after booking well in advance, so we had the choice of toiling upstairs or a table right by the door, in a really cold draught. Surely ‘reserved’ should mean a good table is ready on one’s arrival?

Our visit was spoilt by a very noisy table of 3 ladies who got louder and louder.

It was, as always, a good experience. The quality of food is very consistent and represents good "value for money". The ambience was good and the service attentive. My only negative is that the price of the drinks is a little high, especially if you just want to have a glass of wine rather than a bottle.

We had a very charming young lady took our order and was attentive. My sea bass and vegetables were luke warm and the plate almost cold but the station manager whisked it away once I mentioned it and another plate of food apoeared in 2 mins which was delicious. My partner's food was hot and delicious. Cote staff could not have been more apologetic and even took the food off our bill in goodwill. A lovely dinner inspite of a mishap in the kitchen. We will be back Cote!

Very well looked after by attentive staff. Catered well for my gluten free requirements and made a lovely fuss of my mum on her 91st birthday. The food was great too.

Making a reservation is easy and straightforward. Restaurant was busy but no delays and taken straight to our table. Excellent service and food lovely as always!

The runner dropped my chips but as he has to run up and downstairs all day long, delivering the food, he was exhausted.

Always reliable with excellent service. However, this time round I did not get the impression that my request for a table downstairs as specified in my booking had been read..on arrival, the waiter asked whether we would consider eating upstairs...obviously not as I had mentioned we wanted to be seated downstairs!
