Côte Brighton restaurant

Lovely atmosphere, courteous and friendly staff and tasty food. There were three different menus to choose from. A very enjoyable experience.

Staff very friendly. Not the best prices but certainly not that expensive. Would go again

Good food, delightful young waiter, not too long to wait between courses.

As fairly regular customers at Cote, last night was a bit below par. Most of the things we ordered were a little over cooked which led to the meal being a bit dry. We mentioned this to staff and showed them the food. On the upside, they they took our comments on board, briefly discussed it with us and also gave us a small discount.

We had a lovely family meal for a special occasion. The food was delicious and well presented, the service was great, friendly and helpful staff served us throughout.

As always a lovely welcome... attentive but not obtrusive service. Fabulous meal had the Haddock wrapped in bacon . beautiful. creme brulee cant be ignored yum. will be back as always

As usual good service and nice food apart from the asparagus served with our Lamb Rump, hence only three stars. I appeared to have been placed in the oven and cooked with the lamb. It was basically burnt and tasteless, not at all like asparagus should served. A slight disappointment on an otherwise nice meal.

Lovely a la Carte menu Lunch & delicious kir royales as an aperitif. Staff always so welcoming especially Nuno who is star!

Good food but one reason we like Cote is that they are happy to accommodate large parties

First went to Cote in Parsons Green quite a few years ago and have continued to use our local Cote in Brighton, good restaurant

We had a birthday meal at Cote from the main menu which was very good value

I am always happy to recommend Cote as the food is good and the staff friendly

Cotes is always good service, great food and a reliable choice whatever city we are in.

The service was friendly and efficient. The food AS ALWAYS was delicious Cote is our go-to choice for just a nice decent honest family meal ... a chain that hasn’t changed its ethos or portion size! Keep up the good work

Very expensive for the quality of food served. My tuna nicoise had no potatoes but this was rectified when pointed out and as a gesture of good Will our drinks were deducted from the bill. Overall though very disappointing snd I would not return

Lovely welcome, seating outside was so good on such a hot evening wasn’t expecting this, waiter was superb, food was so good ... had such a lovely evening..we used to come here quite often as we are local but stopped coming because we kept being disappointed... not tonight though..thank you all x

I’m afraid that Cote doesn’t do it for me anymore. The staff have all changed, menu unchanged & I couldn’t believe how quiet it was for a Friday lunchtime. You would have thought that with the Ivy now in Brighton Cote would have upped it’s game - unfortunately not. Can’t see me returning for quite a while,

Service good and welcoming. Starter was missing its dressing. It is mean for the money 3 slices duck 3 wafer thin saucisson slices and a teaspoon of pate. And undressed salad! £7.50 very poor. Mains were ok. Burger did not seem of good quality and was over cooked.

Everything was perfect we sat outside as it was a lovely evening. Food very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Amazing food , amazing service , lovely complementary glass of champagne 🍾 for my birthday 🍰 definitely would recommend to my friends and family And the Lamb was the best I had tasted in a long long time

The staff was great and really helpful, however I found a piece of hair in my soup. When I pointed to one of the staff member and my soup was exchanged. The side potato which was served with pan fried fish was really cold, the whole dish was a bit cold. My cream caramel was delicious but my husband's chocolate pot was really wrong as chocolate was bitter and fresh cream was sour which didn't complement each other abd felt like a wrong combination. I had better a food at cote brassery in the past.

Lovely to go back to Cote for a lunch. Booked a table for one o' clock and the restaurant was already busy. Everything lovely and clean and very inviting. Ordered a couple of starters, calamari and fougasse, both tasty. Haddock goujons and a salad for mains. Both delicious, my only rant would be that the salad was difficult to eat being in a high lipped bowl. Service impeccable by a lovely Sardinian Stella. She tended to all of our needs and had the chance for a quick chat with us. Definitely return sooner than we have done. Lovely ambience, friendly staff and delicious food, all at a reasonable price. What a wonderful visit we had for a birthday lunch. The staff were charming and went the extra mile to assist my companion with seating and menu options. The food here is always dependably very good. We will be back!

Food was ok but it took a lot of time and the waitress was not apologitic about it...and to add the restaurant was empty At the end of the average meal I was told that due to an error they are not able to gve me a receipt but still added a service charge of 12.5% which i didnt ask to remove but dont understand what is it for!

What a great meal. Food was excellent. A free glass of fizz as it was my Birthday, what more can you ask for!!! Well done.

Having been disappointed earlier in year we were very pleasantly surprised with the standard of food and service. It is back on our list for regular dining.

The food was wonderful along with a great atmosphere We enjoy Cote and recently visited the Richmond restaurant The difference to us was the lack of attention by staff though very polite we had to ask for predinner drinks and the staff seemed rushed We were actually able to talk to staff at the Richmond restaurant something not possible here

Great service, nice food and received free glasses of Prosecco when I mentioned it was my daughters birthday. Will definitely be going back soon.
