Had a wonderful time at Cote, celebrating a friends birthday. The staff are super attentive. The food is absolutely delicious and the wine and cocktail menu is definitely fit for a celebration.

We visit Cote in Brighton regularly and always experience impeccable service and perfect food. This particular visit was even better than usual and the staff, especially Dan, made my birthday extra special. Thank you to all and we will be back soon!

An amazing restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection and the speed of the food was very fast.

Lovely waitress, helpful, smily, well-informed and friendly without being intrusive. She gave a great allergy-aware service which was very very reassuring for a family with multiple, severe food allergies. Food was delicious - especially the parmentier and the steak frites (gluten-free!).. all our puddings were gorgeous.. FYI we have the following food allergies between 2 of us and still managed to have a delicious meal... wheat, milk, soya, nuts, sesame, chickpea, celery. The provencale Rose wine was nice and light but not amazing. The chocolate mousse was divine and I was only sorry I couldn't finish it. Thank you for a lovely and memorable evening in pretty surroundings.

It was unfortunate that the duty manager did not check the bookings and request made and gave away our requested table few minutes before we arrived.

Quickly offered a choice of tables on this quiet Sunday evening, so no waiting and a relaxed ambience. (On this occasion, it has been clamorous when crowded). Staff were brilliant: amiable and attentive without being invasive. Also willingly responsive: shutting outside door when we commented on the cool draft; abutting a second table so we had surface space and could sit côte à côte on the banc. Food and drink of a high quality and properly hot. An impressive start with St Germain G&T and fougasse, a leaf-shaped garlic plait that we took as heart-shaped on our anniversary day. The main courses were equally tasty. Our minor proviso was the Fish Parmentier being lightweight compared to the Roasted Pork Belly such that the fish-eater helped herself to some of my gratin potatoes. Nevertheless, by the end of our meal we were both happily satisfied and comfortably replete.

with a pescatarian friend with us it got slightly embarrassing as both her starter and main choices had run out. However, staff went the extra mile to work out a meal and didn't charge her. So, overall all a good experience.

Enjoyable pre concert Meal, The food was lovely, we chose the set menu for simplicity , We prebooked which proved a bonus as it became very busy and we were able to have a table by the window. The staff were very attentive and food and drink service was quick , even though it was busy

Seated in the garden on a wonderful July evening, my partner and I enjoyed a pre concert dinner at the restaurant - it was the perfect start to an unforgettable night! The staff were attentive but never imposing, the food was delicious and very good value for money. 5 star.

We booked for 6pm as Cote is one of our favourite restaurants & we eat there about once a week. Our starters did not come together and the soup was lumpy & tasteless. By 7.15 our main course had still not arrived. We had indicated we had a meeting to go to. We had to leave without the main meal. Very disappointed.

The guy who greeted us at the door was amazing and very friendly and could not do enough 😃 Then the staff who were serving were not very attentive, happy and really were just looking forward to going home ... This is maybe the first time we have been to Cote in 3 years and do t think we will be rushing back

We love Cote but for the first time, we thought the service was poor. Water jugs not refilled, waited ages for sauce and a glass of wine never arrived. A shame

We really enjoyed our meal at Cote. The food was delicious, and the special offer we got for a free elderflower G&T each was great! My only criticism was that it took a full 30 minutes for anyone to come and take our order once we were seated, which was unusually long, especially considering the restaurant wasn't full.

Cote feels like a little slice of France in Brighton.

Service was good given that it was Friday night and busy. Noise level was appalling!

Ate outside which was great. We all had lobster mains which were very good although one was cold. My mum and wife both had a tomato salad which was awful, toms were like mush. Otherwise all starters were excellent, puds were great as usual. Service always top notch. Thankyou.

Waiting staff all very friendly and helpful, such a lovely atmosphere between them which reflects into the restaurant. Food delicious as always.

Very noisy. One dish very overcooked, waiting staff quick to replace it and were very helpful and checked up multiple times afterwards
