Food excellent , service rather slow. Paying the bill was very annoying having to wait for the card machine to be brought.

Most enjoyable time spent at Brighton Core Restaurant, which was a belated birthday luncheon. Our waitress whom I believe to be “Jules” could not have been nicer, friendly and professional even though she was immensely busy with other customers. Most surprising was that I was the only person at out table to have a pudding and thanks to the wonderful Jules she brought out a birthday celebration creme brûlée, complete with a candle. Also she was accompanied by two of her team who sang out Happy Birthday song which highly delighted all of us. Meal was brilliant and all in all a super lunch was had by all. As ever a lovely meal with some charming attentive staff. I took five guests and we had a lovely time, but - again - there was a sad end to the evening in that the coffee machine had 'blown up' according to the waiter, and we were unable to finish off the evening with a coffee. I would have thought, with the size of the restaurant, you might have had two machines, or a standby arrangement if sticking with only one.

We went to Cote for a special anniversary meal. It was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday but this did not detract from our enjoyment of the evening. However we have had to dock a star as the restaurant had run out of creme caramel (and creme brulee) which is one of our favourite desserts in any restaurant.

Always very friendly and efficient service. Breakfast was very tasty.

Manager Julia always makes us feel like coming home. Greeted with a big hug and smile and one of the warmest greetings you can have. The staff were overall very helpful and were receptive to our good humour and bad jokes. Why go anywhere else. Give them all a raise I say!

Great service from exceptionally attentive staff who, having noticed one of our group opening her birthday presents, brought her a complimentary glass of Kir Royale and a bowl of olives as they'd overheard her saying how much she likes them. Food lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. Cote Brasserie should be very proud of their staff in this restaurant, which I highly recommend

I hadn’t been to this Cote before, but I will certainly visit again. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. The food as always in Cote was excellent and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We were a group of 5 and we all had a pleasant evening.

Not a good meal. Worst I have had at Cote. Asked for steak med rare and it was served raw in the middle and cold. Others had tough steak. Everything else cooked well. 12.5 % service is to much. Really think Monday’s is not the best night to eat at Cote.

Very very happy with everything apart from charging 12 and half % service charge already on the bill which was optional.

I was excited to go to Cote as the website and menu looked great sadly it was a bit of a let down. The restaurant felt very much a chain restaurant. I ordered the ribeye steak and it was the worst steak I have ever had, I complained and it was changed for one almost as bad. I'm actually pretty sure it wasn't a rib eye even before it was cremated.
