Food was lovely, atmosphere was good, waitress was chewing chewing gum very obviously and was preoccupied with other staff

We were a party of seven with two children, really relaxed atmosphere with great service, perfect for our evening. There was a bit of an issue (oil spill, in corridor outside kitchen and toilets which was a hazard around that area and on the stairs) this didn't impact on our enjoyment.

Great friendly service, such good quality food and wide menu. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience thank you.

Nice building with plenty of seating and very friendly staff however quite slow service. Food was OK, little bit bland and a long wait in between courses, restaurant seemed to promise a lot , had a great menu but some how a little disappointing. Plus I would say a tiny bit expensive and 12% service charge is steep! Appreciate it’s a big place but I would have preferred to tip what I wants to tip, you have a good night expect a big tip, pif not, not so much!

Really great food as always. The tuna carpaccio was amazing.

Just like to thank all of you guys from start to finish for making my wife’s birthday meal a great occasion. As we turned up a ramp had been put out to help us access the restaurant with our young child Oscar in his wheelchair. And it just got better from there with both service and quality of the food. Not our first visit as a couple but our first visit as a family and without a doubt it won’t be our last. Thank you so much to all for an absolutely top experience.

5 star restaurant I would recommend it to anyone it’s lovely

We all had a lovely meal. Food was well cooked, tasty & plentiful. Very happy, friendly waiter and good atmosphere. Restaurant wasn’t full which was nice as the tables are quite close together so we didn’t have very close neighbours!

The service was pleasant and swift however it took over half an hour for a steak to arrive during lunch while the restaurant was mostly empty. Despite being ordered medium rare the steak was overcooked, dry and in places very tough which gave the impression it was either over cooked or left under heat lamps for far too long, which would explain the wait.

Good food in an interesting atmosphere. Staff very attentive. An affordable fun evening.

We were welcomed in by a polite young man who knew about our special requirements and offered us a choice of tables. The food was delicious and cooked exactly as we had asked. The wine was great value for money and the service at table was polite, efficient and friendly. We were overcharged but they admitted their mistake and a new ( correct) bill was issued. We will definitely be coming back.

We eat here all the time, and is an amazing place, with amazing staff. Always made to feel welcome,and they go out of their way to make you feel special, more so if you are celebrating a special occasion.

Great service, we were a big table so a little slow on the slow side for drinks, but all was forgiven because our Waiter was fantastic and so friendly.

Although the Belly of Pork that I ordered for my main course was dry, overcooked and very, very tough, your staff were on the ball in replacing it with another.....This one was just great so still a six star experience as usual. Well done to all the staff, no doubt we will be back again in a few weeks time. Thank you. John Ireland.

we arrived with reservation and as small group of friends, the food and atmosphere were excellent as was its value and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful (especially as we o no y had 1 english speaker in the group). never fail to have a great time at cote

Stale menu, indifferent menu letting you down, overall ambience still good. I've always been a fan but menu is now very dated. Insufficient variety particularly with vegetarian dishes.

The evening menu is unbeatable value and the food is consistently delicious! We had various versions of steak frites, along with puy lentils and roasted vegetables for me. All were very well cooked and presented. The lentil and veg might have benefited from goats cheese rather than a poached egg on top, but that is a personal suggestion. The desserts were delicious- pomme tarte tatiin, chocolate mousse and the heavenly creme caramel- I have never tasted better! Service was friendly and efficient. Another great meal, thank you!

What a lovely visit! Billy, our waiter, was so attentive - unfortunately an attribute sadly lacking in many restaurants today. My family and friends so enjoyed the meal and birthday drinks- especially the non-alcoholic cocktails for the children! The supervisor- lovely French lady - kindly explained the recipe to the children. Birthday candles bought in by my grandson added to the friendly experience when our desserts arrived. Such a nice time - can’t wait to return!

Four of us ate at Cote Brighton on Monday. Reasonable prices, lovely building, always a pleasure to eat there, high level of service and food. We were there last week too in a larger group and the staff coped very well, keep it up!

Our waitress was excellent, friendly and efficient and the food was very good, as always.
