Great food & lovely staff. Really nice atmosphere defo recommend it.
Lovely food and professional, accommodating service! We were attended to well! Thank you! Slightly chilly sitting by the door, but was offered another table. Excellent ;) Took a little while to receive our drinks and then starters but luckily we were not in a hurry.
Visiting Côte has always been a pleasure and this occasion was no exception. We all had excellent food and wine. Staff were helpful and friendly from meeting at the door until leaving. Needless to say, we’ll be back.
Lovely evening and yummy food at a very good price.
Never disappoints. Really good food, reasonable price and excellent service
Attentive service our waitress was friendly and always smiling.Good quality food, great atmosphere. Good selection of wine A table near to us were loud we asked to move which was done without any fuss....thank you.
It was a very disappointing experience if honest. Busy, put by the door and it was cold, food took ages which made us late, one of the steaks was tasteless and the chips were cold. It was the complete opposite of using our Cote Restaurant in Horsham - we will never go back to Brighton ... we even regretted paying the £16 tip - but didn’t have time to wait for a new bill! I love Cote and last night we weren’t disappointed. On a horrible wet and windy Brighton evening we were treated to impeccable service, atmosphere and the food, as ever, was delicious. My favourite pre-theatre restaurant x
Nice food and service. Would like to say a few more sides included with mains for price but otherwise a lovely meal.
Was a bit disappointed at being turned away as ‘no bar’ we were told by staff after arriving 15 mins early, and our table was not ready. We returned 15 minutes later with our guests who we’d rounded up in the street and the table still wasn’t ready. Previous diners were eventually asked to leave!! Whilst this went on we were crowded in the entrance doors with about 15 other diners. The doors were open to the elements (wind & rain) as there were so many of us! If I’d been another guest at any of the tables near the doors trying to eat my meal with all this going in I’d have got up & left.
We didnt get our main course, after an hour of ordering, we had to leave to see a show. You did the decent thing and cleared our drinks bill, thank you, but you seemed drastically under staffed for a Friday night. To new diners, leave plenty of time if seeing a show
It is Always good food And good service here x
We reserved our table but had to wait a while, the staff kept us informed & gave us a free drink.
Lovely food, really nice, helpful staff. As someone with coeliac disease, this is one of very few places I trust to keep me safe.
Great food! Service was excellent. Drink table next to us who were annoying though.
Always a warm welcome, great service and delicious food. What’s not to love!
Not up to usual standard for food. The food was cold and had to send back. New lot still not hot. Staff were very professional about this and dealt with it professionally and politely.
Lovely food with a good choice of dishes. The house wine is very drinkable.
Excellent friendly attentive man who showed us to our table and also the waitress
Really relaxing atmosphere today, and the waiter was brilliant, nothing too much trouble.
A good experience all round. Absolutely nothing more to say
Meeting an old friend.Very convivial atmosphere. Good food. Stayed three hours!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great value
Every time I go to Cote in Brighton it is always very busy and nearly full. So booking a table is a must! However, the staff (from front house to the wine server) run the place impeccably with such efficiency and friendliness. The food is great and tasty and I have tasted a variety of things from there - I am hard pushed to find fault.
Was a really lovely meal this afternoon. Was quiet, which was lovely for us to be in a calm relaxed restaurant. Could fault the staff, all extremely helpful and attentive. The set menus are unbelievably reasonable and everything was delicious. Although I’m a sucker for the crab pate!
We chose from the lunch time deal menu. The food was tasty and hot but the portions were quite small (just about value for money). I wouldn't recommend this menu for when you are hungry - or generally if you have a large appetite!
Pleasant evening with friends. Service could have been better. Tucked around a corner, we seemed to be forgotten about!
Always great, especially the onion soup! A superb serving of French cuisine in Brighton, what could be better!
lost one star as they had run out of mussels. other than that small disappointment had a very lovely evening. would definitely return, and thoroughly recommend to friends.
just another lovely meal in one of our favourite restaurants.thank you so much.
Brighton Cote was very busy , still service was good and food delicious !
atmosphere good food great the mirabelle desert was exceptional sidecar cocktails excellent waiter very efficient
As someone with hearing ,loss, ambient noise in restaurants is a huge disadvantage if conversation with people is to be viable. Noise pollution and the social consequences need to be given more consideration in catering than is generally the case. Background muzack is not needed to create atmosphere for several reasons the main one being as referred to here.
Delicious breakfast. Really great value and top service. When the waitress forgot one of our orders of toast she gave us both a complimentary mimosa. Perfect start to a sunny Sunday in Brighton. Thank you x
fantastic. it was my friends 19th and the service and food were perfect. thank you very much :)
Four of us enjoyed a delicious lunch again at Cote Brighton. Always a delightful 2/3 hours, with no pressure to leave. Each of us was able to enjoy a free glass of Kier Royale to celebrate my birthday - a candle on the desert brought by saff singing happy birthday really made it a memorabe lunch. Thank you Cote Brighton.
I came for the mussles but saldy they had none. However the service was perfect and the food was delicious. Thank you for the great experience.
great as usual. the Sidecar cocktail was special and very welcome
As always, fabulous location, fabulous food, fabulous atmosphere, superb service
Can’t fault it really. Wil come again when I get the chance.
Amazing experience,Just had my 50th birthday meal here what a great time ,beautiful food ,great atmosphere and really attentive service, well done Cote Brighton see you again soon XXX
We are regular diners at Cote and always eat there if we are seeing a show or concert as its just opposite the Dome in Brighton. We love the atmosphere as its very elegant and feels like a special night out. We love the food which is always tasty and not expensive ( we go for the lunchtime and early evening special set menu which is a good price. The portion sizes are a bit small but it is french cuisine and is meant to be eaten in several courses, but whichever main I have chosen has always been well cooked and delicious. My top recommendation would be their creme caramel, which is their signature dessert and absolutely heavenly. Truly the best creme caramel in the world I would say with no exaggeration. We went on a Saturday evening and they were fully booked so it was not quiet but gently buzzing which we like and the staff are all very efficient, polite and attentive without being intrusive. A highly recommended place to eat.
An anniversary occasion with family so we picked Cote as its a favourite place in Brighton for us when we eat out. The choices are good with lots of tasty options and we always enjoy our meals, we will be back!
A wonderful lunch with excellent food and service. Thank you.
Delicious food, great ambience and wonderful service. Starters with toast on the side need more bread though!
Had the pre theatre dinner. Good value. Lovely meal. Great waitress. Service a little slow.
Everything was lovely. Nice welcome and choice of seating. Starters and main courses excellent. Slight disappointment with pudding else I would have given 6
excellent and friendly staff especially the Hungarian waiter from Budapest !
Who doesn't love good quality French cooking at pre theatre affordable prices. Cote Brighton is perfectly situated near the lanes, the Dome and the theatre. It's a lovely space to step inside away from the hustle & bustle outside. Thank you.
the food and service were good but as a party of 6 we were placed on the first floor which we did not like.
