Côte Brighton restaurant

Another perfect evening at Cote restaurant. This time celebrating my partner’s birthday. Love this restaurant!

Excellent. So nice for both of us to be given a free pre lunch drink. One time when I took a friend for a birthday lunch ,she was given a free dessert,I wasn't, which we both found embarrassing.

have visited this cote every year food good but srvice and orders can be mixed up

It was my mums 90th birthday and she was presented with a glass of bubbly and a surprise dessert. It made her day extra special

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised on our return to Cote. I liked my previous visits, but my wife was not previously impressed and resisted coming back. I did manage to convince that this was a convenient pre theatre meal venue. We had a very pleasant pre theatre meal and was impressed with the different menus and enjoyed a lovely start to the evening. Suffice to say that we will be back. Well done for whatever improvements that you have made over the last couple of years.

Warm welcome, hot food. Cosy atmosphere - it was early Sunday evening. Sensibly attentive staff and obliging with the menu options. Food very tasty, especially enjoyed Anchovy Pissaladiera and Artichoke Heart Stew.

Tasty and substantial food, well-timed and friendly service, agreeable ambience. Slight blip near the end when the reduced price set menu for Jan that we had booked via a link in an email from Côte showed up as full price on the bill, but once we drew attention to this it was corrected in a prompt, pleasant and apologetic fashion, making the meal very good value for money!

Excellent greeting and waiter, fine service, with food and wine appreciated by all. Don't change anything.

Food very good and reasonably priced. Service OK, but not brilliant. Next table (but one) very noisy. Plus there was quite a lot of waiting, despite the fact that we'd ordered in advance.

Food and service very good and served very quickly. We were a party of 6 and everyone was extremely happy with their meal.

Service was good but main meal wasn't great, a little dry. I am pretty convinced that the steak tartar is much smaller than it used to be too.

The food was excellent and the January special dessert was 10 out of 10. The only downside was a seat near the window, spent the whole night with a slight chill coming from the window

Good food and delivered well, open space is a little noisy and the entrance doesn't shield customers from drafts very well.

Good points. Pleasant decor and ambience, marvellous staff and a delicious and reasonably priced lunch deal. Not so good. Tables are a little too close together and couples (in common with a lot of other restaurants) always seem to be allocated to the worst tables.

the chicken dish was still very tough. we have mention it to our waiters on previous visits. we were offered a replacement dish which was very nice.

Grilled Sardines starter, only 2 small sardines no bread very disappointing. Saute potatoes dry and very crispy. Wine good. Service good as usual. Overall disappointed not like previous visits.
