Côte Brighton restaurant

Service was exceptional. I would go so far as to say that it made the evening.

We had relatives visiting and wanted somewhere smart but not too expensive for lunch. Also somewhere I could book at short notice. They were quite impressed, we all ate from the lunch time menu and everyone seemed happy with their food. I had the Sea Bream or something similar which was a little small and need something more substantial to go with it, then again I was having 3 courses so... Shepherds Pie seemed to go down well but it looked rather boring in its rectangular dish

As usual great food and great service, plus an excellent atmosphere. What's not to like. We love it, so do all the family. If you want a special night out try Cote.

Delicious and most enjoyable as always! It was the perfect evening for our daughter’s celebratory meal, with wonderful food and a great lively atmosphere. A fantastic time was had by all.

As usual, a very happy experience at Brighton Cote which we visited after a performance of the Brighton Philharmonic. The menu is always appealing and the standard of service very high with friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious. We three had different dishes, fish duck and tuna and all were perfectly cooked. My sister who is visiting from the US always enjoys a visit to Cote when she is here and was not disappointed on this occasion. This was one of many visits to Cote and we have always found the same very high standard.

Lovely day out for lunch for my birthday, had a great day. :-)

A thoroughly enjoyable meal at Côte. French onion soup was tasty and delicious, the pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection and I was so full couldn’t manage a dessert. Service was good and will return.

One of our group had to send her chicken back as it was raw in the middle. This was replaced with another meal which was satisfactory but it shouldn't have happened. While the pate and charcuterie was excellent, the sardine starter proved extremely small. However, the service was excellent.

The staff were absolutely brilliant. I had my 15 month old baby boy with me and they made us feel so welcome. His noises weren’t dampened, he was encouraged to be joyful. I can’t thank them more.

Excellent service, friendly staff. The food as usual very good. We had booked for the theatre, so this is an obvious choice of restaurant if you want to be out on time.

Arrived before 18.00 we were told we would be eating upstairs, as I have severe arthritis in the knees I told her I would unable to she said their was nothing ground floor and I should have stated that. I have been to Côte before on numerous occasions and have never asked to go upstairs or it to be open upstairs so we went to Carluccios and had a superb meal.

We were made to feel very welcome and my mum’s birthday was acknowledged on arrival which was lovely. A very enjoyable meal and attentive staff .

Lovely food and service as always. We shared the chateaubriand this time and it was gorgeous.

We’ve always liked eating at other branches when we used to live in London and happy that the Brighton branch lives up to the same standard. Dinner was delicious. Warm, friendly attentive service from the start to finish.

Lovely meal great atmosphere and put balloons and banners out for our friends 50th and gave the creme brûlée as a birthday gift overall a great evening

Lovely atmosphere, great food and wonderful service. Always good value for money and such good wine! There was a little wait for the drinks but it was an incredibly busy Saturday night.

From the moment we entered we were well looked after. The gent who greeted us was welcoming and chatty and offered a selection of tables. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant and attentive. The food was consistently good, as always. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Lovely food and great service from friendly helpful staff :) Nice atmosphere and a good varied menu with lots of good value specials as well as the à la carte menu!

Overall a good lunch time get together for three ladies "out to lunch". We all decided to choose from the lunch time special menu. Two out of three of us were very happy with our choices. but my friend who chose the fish dish received a very small portion and felt pressured into having to have a side dish too - so not such good value for her. Always lively chatter going on in Cote but this time rather noisier than usual. But no problem! We'll be back again soon.

We had booked as it would be busy. We both had a very good three course meal from different menus. The food was great as well as the atmpshoer and the staff were attentive and helpful.

Cote Brighton is a grear place to have a meal before going to Theatre Royal. A very nice experience from the minute you entered the restaurant. A lovely welcome from the staff and very friendly and efficient service throughout the meal. Delicious food and wine.

I have been here many times and it just gets better and better, the food is incredible the service was flawless and the whole experience is just perfect! P.s Try the duck!!

As always you can rely on good service and excellent food. Ideal for special occasions or anytime. We know that we will never be disappointed when we eat at a Cote. Considering the number of diners, you always feel you are getting personal service.

Lovely atmosphere and great service. Short walk to the bars and pubs in the area. We had the monkfish which we strongly recommend. Amazing. Would come back

I took a friend there - ( during a d stay on hol here from NZ) To my dismay the toilets were flooded and whilst the meal was good my watercress was wilted and I didn’t fancy eating it My first poor experience from Cotes - I’ve eaten in Brighton 4 times, Winchester 3 , Chichester many many times - this was not a good experience

Good as usual. Never been disappointed at Cote. Good value for money, several menus to choose from for most pockets. Consistent good standards of well cooked and presented food. We particularly recommend their creme caramel for dessert.

My friend and I enjoyed an excellent meal today at Cote, the service was helpful and polite , the food, duck breast and beef bourgignon were both delicious and perfectly cooked.

I really should stop filling in these post-attendance reviews as they rarely differ from one to the next. Satisfaction with Côte restaurants - and I go to a few - always tends to be universally high.

Great atmosphere, good choice of food and well presented. The service was very efficient too.

Great taff but my chicken was over cooked but desserts d starters very good. Managers were amazing.
