Great food, great venue. Have been before and will definitely be returning. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼
Service was by far the best I’ve experienced in any restaurant and the food was beautiful! Made my partners day
A really reliable restaurant with good service and delicious food. One of my favourite places to eat in Brighton. The best onion soup in in town, will be back.
A lovely evening again at Cote Brighton everything excellent before a fabulous concert at The a Dome with Joan Baez. Great Rib eye and timings perfect. You’ve got it right guys.
Our table was a little cramped we were upstairs. Fortunately the people either side were very nice We both enjoyed our dinner quick and excellent service nice and friendly staff
Food was on the whole nice but expensive for portion sizes. Service was good. Place was crowded but was a Friday night. Drinks also v expensive
We went to Côte Brighton to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a great welcome from the maitre d’ shown to our table and given complimentary Kir Royale. Our meals were delicious and properly cooked. Service was friendly and professional, atmosphere lively and buzzy which is what we like. Pleased to recommend this restaurant, looking forward to going back.
Jules, Nu Nu and all the staff treat us like family whenever I meet my friend for our regular catch up lunch! Nothing is too much trouble and the menu is always such good value. Thank you. Suzi (Alternative Ageing)
The best restaurant in Brighton. Great value for money and good quality food.
Smoked salmon and chicken liver pate starters excellent Lamb rump was excellent but a little less lamb than my last visit. Complimentary gin and tonics well received The side order of artichoke gratinee had been forgotten and did not arrive until we had almost finished.
For the second time the service in this otherwise really impressive restaurant was not very good, in fact slightly chaotic. The staff seemed to be not controlling their stations and things were last minute meaning it was a bit stressful thinking a nice smooth enjoyable evening was not happening. For the first time at Cote we didn't tip
The perfect dining experience as usual, thanks Cote. Attentive, friendly service, high standard of food at keen prices for such high quality and a lovely atmosphere.
Hi. Attentive efficient staff. Good value. Good choices. Pleasant atmosphere. Lovely salad starters and light meal although beans in chicken and walnut salad were tough today unusually.
Seriously disappointing. Last year we used your restaurant and it was great so we booked again this year to celebrate our daughters birthday. Arrived at 2pm and shown to seat, meal arrived starter not great but ok. Main meal is the real issue. My daughters chips arrived cold and we needed to send them back, here peas where horrible, looked like they had been overcooked or left out too long, she wouldn't touch them. My Husbands beef was clearly reheated though he said it tasted ok.... but it was definitely microwaved or reheated. My seabass was tasty but I ended up ill for the afternoon. Not a good experience overall. I would have made more of a fuss at the restaurant but my daughter is very stressed in confrontational situations so wouldn't allow me. I will not be going again
Bland menu. Food average, my soup was served tepid but was relaxed quickly. Atmosphere spoilt by a rowdy crowd of very drunk men on the next table. Staff attentive and service generally good.
I love it here; consistently good for food -it’s always delicious and the staff are always patient and kind. I love the building and how central to the city it is
As ever- Great buzz in this lovely room- welcoming staff, good value menus, including the cocktail of the month! Always happy to return to Brighton Cote and recommend it.
Food was tasty, well presented and well served. This was the Prestige Menu offering a good choice - Thank You.
First visit to cote. Very welcoming, staff all lovely, all the food was nice, but the steak a bit gristly. Would definitely visit again..
Service first.class staff all very professional with good personalities.Menus excellent, something for everyone & reasonably priced. The Brighton premises are excellent It was the .Brighton Music Library before becoming Cote
Food good. Menu extensive. Some anxiety over placing our order and being finished in time for show but all worked fine. Did though have several members of the group going on about this. A visit by the server early on to advise reassure us that mindful of our time constraints etc would have helped plus getting the drinks in, but hey easy to say. It was a busy night and they did great at getting nine meals out together and all very edible for value fir money price. Except wine: but excessive in terms of charging .
First table was by the side of the door with a strong draught every time the entrance door was opened we requested and were given a table in the center of the room. I have enjoyed Moules frites many times in Brighton and for many years at your Barbican location. On this occasion the were pathetic, some shells were empty, some were the size of peas and others were like brown string. The situation was saved by the efficient Manageress who must have hand picked the replacement serving. On the plus side the Apple Tart was excellent and a Gluten free Menu was available for my guest. I also must register my dislike of your billing which includes a service charge and then shows a space for tipping I have never noticed this before and in fact looking at the £86.10 total gave a £10 cash Tip to the waitress thinking there was no service charge included.
Staff were brilliant and very attentive on a busy day
It has become a tradition every Saturday breakfast at Cote Brighton extremely good value! The staff are all friendly and efficient making you feel special. The food quality never varies thank you to all the kitchen staff we never see 😍
Although we have had many delicious meals at Côte tonights was quite bland and we would have had a pudding but 15minuites to clear the plates tipped us over and we just wanted the bill.
As usual ,lovely service, this time from Stella Always feels like a treat going to Cote even though I go quite often. One settles in and feels immediately comfortable and cared for. Then the food arrives which is always good Thank you for a Super evening
Good atmosphere, excellent service and good menu. Good choice of three menus. Pleasant staff. Normal noise levels probably due to no loud music which causes people to shout at each other.
Always have a lovely meal here and the service is amazing , our favourite restaurant by far , would definitely recommend good atmosphere and great food
Excellent service by the staff. They were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was well presented and tasty. My husband had the calamari and said that they were better than any he had eaten in Greece. The cost of the meal and drinks was very fairly priced. We will certainly come and eat with you again when we are in Brighton.
Buzzing with customers and a great atmosphere. Staff very welcoming and efficient. Food and wine fabulous. I had Fish Stew and it was jam packed with fish, prawns, mussels, clams, fish & potatoes. YUM!
Excellent service, good varied menu, and beautiful decor with a very good atmosphere
Overall great lunch. I had the pork belly and it was delicious. Great service. Hostess remembered me from the time before. Definitely recommend this location. Thanx.
Another pleasant evening spent in Cote, Brighton. We were given complementary Rhubarb Martini drinks. Our waiter Joaquim was attentive, polite and accommodating. We couldn’t fault the food and atmosphere.
Surprisingly service was slower than expected. Our waitress seemed to have more than her fair share to do, although there were apparently plenty of staff around. Also we were a little disappointed that the kids’ menu was so short with no sweets!
Another lovely meal here overall. I come several times a year. However docking a star because we came on this occasion to take advantage of a free bottle of wine offer - a Sauvignon Blanc or a Syrah. On ordering the wine and asking for the SB the waitress told us No - the offer is Chardonnay or Merlot. Don't like Chardonnay so reluctantly (as having fish and chicken) ordered a red wine. She then came back and said you can have the SB if you really want, as if doing us a favour....? All a bit odd. Perhaps staff need reminding of what the deals are. She then quipped, when asking us to taste the wine, how it'd be strange to send back free wine - a little unnecessary. Anyway no big deal really, food and service was good as usual.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Only negative was waiter took my glass away before I had finished (I do drink slowly and sip) and was too embarrassed to say I hadn't finished.
Normally very good, unfortunately today not so good. We were a group of 8 and 2 ordered Cod for their mains and about an hour after ordering they were told there was no Cod left and offered Salmon instead. Overall the restaurant was busy, however we waited nearly 35 minutes for starters and about an hour for mains. Staff were friendly and polite and the food was go, just a couple of issues with timing and availability of requested food. Thanks
We were greeted warmly and served very attentively by our waitress Emma who managed to be both professional and friendly. My Boeuf Bourgignon was unctuous and very flavoursome. As always the creme caramel was an absolute delight. The kir Royale started the evening well and we had a wonderful time I love Cote Brighton ! It’s my go to restaurant . I’ve never had a disappointing meal or bad service
Food was stunning and the service was excellent. Was very busy but we had a quick service thoughtout. The staff really work so hard. Our waitress was lovely. She was tipped very well. :)
Lovely food and great service. The staff were brilliant, friendly and attentive. It’s a great place to go for a treat or a special occasion. We will be back.
We really enjoyed the meal. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere in the restaurant was great.
A lovely evening at this restaurant. Heard good reviews about the place beforehand so we were expecting good things! We had a larger table for seven and were sat upstairs which seemed a bit quieter so was really nice. The food was outstanding but what made the night even better was how lovely every single staff member was; friendly, attentive, and helpful. A really good job. We think one of our servers was newer as it looked like he was being shadowed by his supervisor, he did a great job and had a really good knowledge of the food and drinks we were asking about. We will definitely be returning when we're back in Brighton! (The one less star for noise level was because there was a somewhat rowdy group of people nearby! Nothing could be done by the staff though and it definitely didn't put us off!)
It was brilliant. Smoked salmon and onion soup delicious The lamb rump with mediterranean vegetables was truly amazing The complimentary cocktails yummy The chardonnay was excellent Atmosphere great as always.
We went here for a work evening and the whole experience was lovely. The atmosphere was great, the waitress was lovely and the food was delicous. Would defintely recommend.
I love this place. The food is always excellent & the set lunch is such good value. The staff are friendly & professional & never fail to welcome me back whenever I visit.
Another great pre show meal. Excellent service from the moment we arrived. GF brilliantly catered for without any feeling of compromise. Food arrived in good time and was delicious!
We are regular customers of Cote Brasserie as being accredited by Coeliac Uk Charity. (Coeliac Disease Strict gluten free diet required) However we were highly surprised by our lunch at Cote Brighton. Apart from the waiting time (2 hours for a sunday lunch for 4 having turned up at 12.30 ie ahead of the 1 o’clock rush), the precautionary measures were far from followed. The manager did take the order in person (GF for my daughter and I, normal for my son and my husband) pointing out that he had it all in his head and did not need to write down our order. our main dishes turned up 45 minutes later. My daughter’one has the GF flag but mine did not.The manager promised though that my dish was gf... It actually turned out to be my husband’s dish which was not gf!!!! I do not suffer myself from coeliac disease but always order off the gf menu. Having already wasted the best part of an hour waiting dor our dood to arrive I did not raise the issue but it is totally irresponsible. The fries were more than average over cooked dry and hard. When we then ordered the desserts we specifically asked for 3 of the gf menus and yet again 1 turned up without the gf flag. This is out of order!! How can you possibly be granted the gf accreditation when the staff cannot follow the basic rules! Verbal Promises are not good enough! Totally irrespectful and dangerous for the coeliac community
We always have a lovely experience dining at Cote Brighton. The setting and decor is very unique. The Staff are always very helpful and make us feel very special. The food is fabulous and we are slowly working our way through the menu. Always recommended to friends.
Service and good excellent great choice on the menu . Atmosphere was lovely and a great table to people watch from. Looking forward to going back soon
Had a very nice meal always consistently good food on every visit . Staff pleasant and friendly. Hen and Stag clients can negatively affect the atmosphere when to boisterous.
