Excellent value at £13.95 for three courses, the food is of a very high standard and our waitress was thoroughly professional which makes a pleasant change. My favourite was creme caramel which was the best I have ever had in my opinion - like silk it was so creamy and luscious. This cote restaurant is also in a wonderful building just opposite Brighton Dome. Definitely recommend it.

Great atmosphere, very welcoming start and all the staff were friendly and efficient throughout. The food was great (try the Butterfly Chicken - fabulous!). My partner and I had a lovely pre-theatre meal here and couldn't fault it at all!!

I recently had lunch, the food was good but our waiter was clearly new to the job as there were a few things that didn't match the usual standard of service. We waited too long for our drinks, when we asked for two side plates with our starter he informed us they had run out because the terrace was busy. I questioned this and he then appeared with two side plates from upstairs. After ordering our starters and mains he went off and came back to ask if we wanted our mains after our starters? It was all a bit strange really.

Excellent service, great staff and variable menu that literally caters for all tastes and needs. The setting is relaxed against an Art Deco interior that speaks volumes of a bygone era.

I suppose that one day I may be disappointed with a visit to Cote Brighton, but so far it's been great every time: good food and drinks, and the most charming, helpful staff What more can a chap want? Thank you, everyone at Cote Brighton

On a very busy Saturday lunchtime, the staff at Cote provided the usual exceptional and friendly service. The food also lived up to its excellent reputation.

The food was lovely, we had a nice table and the staff were very friendly. It was a little bit noisy, which made it difficult to hear ourselves during our conversation.

The food was as good as normal but the service was much to be desired. We had to ask several times for a latte. The bill was incorrect when came. Felt a bit sloppy.

The venue at Côte Brighton is full of ambience. Whether downstairs or in the quieter upstairs room. Food is consistently good quality and excellent value for money. Service is usually good too. Not rushed or ' in your face'. Highly recommended.

Bland, incredibly over-creamed soup for starter and a similarly over-creamed and bland moules mariniere. Very good peach crumble. Portions smaller than they used to be. Very disappointed.

Great terrace area - perfect for lunch on a summer's afternoon. Nice food as usual. Service was good, although a bit slow towards the end.

We went for the theatre menu and found lots of scummy choices despite it being a more limited menu than a la carte. Really lovely food and decent sized portions too - have noticed how other restaurants have been sneakily 'downsizing' so pleased to see none of that going on here! Our waiter was very busy but still managed to look after us well. Would go back / recommend any time!

V friendly and professional chain. You know what you're going to get , so reliable if you need good basic food in classic surroundings with excellent service. Attempted to charge me the free bottle of wine (loyalty reward) but all sorted with a smile.

Cote Brasserie is a super place for dinner in Brighton. Centrally located in Brighton's cultural quarter, opposite the Brighton Dome and a few minutes wander from the famous Brighton Pavilion. Great value food and super friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable meal.

Excellent service but good failed to deliver today. Starter arrived with a complimentary hair, second starter no egg yolk( steak tartare ). Main rib eye steak so tough not edible , exchanged for another steak no better , chef needs to go back to basics, rib eye needs to marbled and left to rest

We sat on the terrace in the sun & it was lovely. Although they were very busy we didn't have to wait long to be served. Food was good as usual & we had a lovely leisurely lunch.

Great food choice and all cooked to perfection. There is also an Anniversary Menu on at the moment offering 3 courses with a glass of champagne for £27.50 which is good value.

We booked online for 12.30 today at Cote,Brighton for the Anniversary Lunch meal. The waiter knew nothing about it and the manageress said it wasn't available at lunchtimes only in the evening. So no anniversary meal ! or glass of Champagne ! Restauratant was quieter than usual, service slower than usual. Fish soup luke warm, watercress with the escalope was old and dead. All rather disappointing re the Anniversary meal we were looking forward to.

Great food as always. Moderately priced. Go upstairs if you want a quieter meal. We often have two starters and a pudding which is quite sufficient.
