Brilliant service easy booking on line and when arrived very welcoming. The food delicious and reasonable priced and the service excellent I would definitely recommend this restaurant
The food was very good although the soup could be hotter. The belly pork was excellent The service was very attentive and we love coming to Cotes and look forward to our next visit
Very good service. Food as good as normal and a bustling atmosphere. All in all, cote is one of the best chains out there .
Lovely food , good choices and excellent service. We experienced breakfast and dinner over one weekend. Amazing good value considering the quality of the food.
Very nice lunch - food was good and waiters very friendly and welcoming. Service was rather slow however - we were not in any rush so it wasn't a problem for us this time.
Food took far too long to arrive and when it did it was unpleasantly cold, restaurant was full and although atmosphere was good staff didn't seem to cope with a full house. We were a party of 11. I will think again before booking at busy periods . This was a dinner on a Saturday night at 8pm.
'Fish Parmentier' Microwaved fish pie. Small portion, dull and over priced. Normally the food is excellent but this was pathetic. What more is there to say.
Great pre theatre supper. Cote do what they do extremely well. Good service, excellent menu, reasonable prices. Service very friendly (if a little over-attentive. Very reliable
This was my first visit to this Cote, though I have been to several others in the past. I must confess to being disappointed. The service was slow and amateurish, so much so that our server was replaced halfway though the meal. The first replacement then seemed more keen to chat to her chums than serve the food that a lady had brought from the kitchen. The second replacement was fine, but by then our mood had been set for the day. To add insult to injury, a 12.5% gratuity was added to the bill. If an establishment wants to be so presumptious, it better make damn sure its staff are properly trained. The food was OK without being up to the standards of other Cotes, let alone other comparable restaurants (eg Raymond Blanc) In Brighton, there are numerous restaurant choices, I cannot see myself returning to Cote in a hurry.
Good service friendly staff, and a plus when the garden is open on a warm sunny day. Can be noisy inside at busy times, if there are any people with mobility problems then ask for main room down stairs. Côte Brighton restaurant
Amazing food in a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Only thing that let us down was after we had finished our mains we were left to wait for over 20 minutes before we had to approach staff ourselves to ask for the bill. We would have had desserts however the long wait had put us off. The waiter did apologise for this and took some drinks off our bill which was much appreciated. Overall we would return again as the food was excellent and service in general good.
Good friendly service, consistently good food well presented and nice atmosphere. I always know what to expect when I visit Cote and have never been disappointed .
Came here for graduation celebrations and it was the perfect venue. Amazing value for money with friendly and efficient staff. Most importantly the food was fab! Definitely recommend.
We had a delicious meal and were very well looked after - as always. This Cote is a cut above... We'll be back again before long.
Good food as usual, ,staff attentive, always a good evening out One of my favourite places to eat in Brighton Will be bisiting again soon
I, and my friends, visit Cote both in Brighton and London often. We cannot fault the food, the service and the ambiance of both these places. Recommended to all my friends. n
Great atmosphere, busy, fun and good service. Most the food was lovely (fantastic steak tartare!) but one or two disappointments (scallop starter was poor). Overall a lovely lunch experience though!
We had a lovely meal beautiful y presetnted with very attentive waiters even though we were on early eve set menu ! Will definitely return and recommend to friends .
Good food, at great prices served by friendly staff . The restaurant is in a central location near to The Royal Pavilion and North Laines are of the town.
Excellent menu, good service. Excellent complimentary wine. As my friend has been unwell, it was a particularly enjoyable and celebratory experience. E intend to return.
Haven't been in a while for financial reasons!! As good as ever our absolute favourite in Brighton esp the staff And the food was top class as usual
The meal was delicious and great value and there was loads of space around each table - a perfect place to catch up with friends.
Consistent and good quality and no doubt one of the best out of the many chains with staff that are always attentive and very professional.
Portion sizes were very small. We had ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and were disappointed as we had a very small portion of eggs, one rasher of bacon and the plate was swimming in watery liquid. We eat with you regularly and are always so impressed but this time was very poor.
We had breakfast at Cote. The full cooked which came with toast, hot drink and fruit juice. Ample portions, superbly cooked and the service was excellent.
Staff were excellent and soon sorted our food issues which were then very good. Deserts were late being served but compensated for in bill. They were verity good when eaten.
I love this place, probably our local favourite. Great staff, interesting menu, nice food, rarely lets you down. We like the starters particularly and always like the fish dishes (although they do a pretty good steak).
As usual, attentive and competent service and a very nice meal, accompanied by an entirely drinkable wine at a not-too-pricey price. All in all a very enjoyable visit.
Great restaurant for girlie lunches. Always extremely pleasant staff. Prices are perfectly reasonable. And you get the occasional treat, like a couple of glasses of Kir around the time of your birthday, a bottle of wine at other times. Highly recommended.
We both joyed our visit to Cote but I can only give you a 5 because I had to call the waiter back because there was lipstick on my wine glass.
As per usual excellent food and service , restaurant very busy so had to wait little while for order to be taken but no complaints whatsoever.
Lovely food on the set pre-theatre menu. We like going to Cote as the food is consistently high quality and the atmosphere is always good.
Staff were superb-welcoming, attentive. We were not in any hurry but wait for courses could have been an issue if we had been. Staff were apologetic and took something off bill even though no complaint was made. Food was wonderful
Just returned from lunch in Brighton. We had lovely food, great staff and very good value for money. This is one of the regular places we go as a result.
Côte Brasserie never disappoints. Food is interesting, lots of choice. Cooked and served with expertise. Staff always kind and courteous. Such a pleasant dining room. Rest room clean and even provides hand santiser. Thank you Côte .
Excellent as usual. Great food and fast service. All staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back very soon.
Nice lunch at Cote Brighton, really busy but still good service. No problem getting a table at 1-30, Tuna salad was great, will be back soon
Great atmosphere, food always served promptly and always presented well, great service and a large menu choice. They knew it was for a special occasion so gave us an excellent table in the window and on arrival we were greeted with free glasses of Kir Royals!
As always always food and service excellent - had a leisurely Easter Sunday lunch - pork belly was cooked to perfection - we asked for more jus and that was not a problem.
The Brighton branch is larger than most and really appealing. The waiters, ambience, food and drink were perfect. I ate Boudin and poached egg salad, followed by duck salad, and tarte aux pomme. My husband had calamari, pork belly and chocolate fondant. Every single part of each dish was deliciously flavoured, and perfect in every way. We also tried 4 different wines between us and loved every glass. Couldn't fault anything. I know it's a chain but it doesn't feel like one. With the sun coming in through the window, it feels like you're in a French cafe. The waiters are extremely professional. Will go again very soon, especially as the specials menu changes monthly.
Busy lunchtime, not as good an experience as we've had before. Our meal was disappointing compared with previous occasions when we've thoroughly enjoyed our meal. This time, we didn't finish our main courses. We didn't make a fuss but it was acknowledged by the GM. We'll be back!
Starter prawn gratine and fish stew was cooked in tomato sauce tasted like salsa. No way near fine dining. Totally disappointed as had heard a lot about it. The Plaice fish we ordered was also awful.
Always a warm and efficient welcome from the Brighton staff. We enjoyed a delicious pre theatre meal with no worries of being delayed. Great value!
Excellent food & service as always, we will keep going back ! Tne belly pork was fantastic! & the apple tart sublime.A very enjoyable family lunch.
This is my favourite restaurant in Brighton. The food is excellent, Staff are always pleasant. The ambience is great. No wonder you have to book in advance, particularly at weekends. The early evening set menu is good value and changes each month, and now they have a vegetarian menu too.
This is a restaurant we love to go to when we're in Brighton. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is very good and the atmosphere extremely pleasant. But you do need to book - certainly if you want to go at the weekend.
My husband and I always enjoy our visit to Cote We both ageeed that everone is always very friendly and ready to have a few words with us instead of just rushing away
The service was very friendly and efficient from the minute we walked in. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. Would highly recommend.
Lovely breakfast menu with lots of yummy options. Excellent bacon and eggs, sausage not too shabby either. Coffee good, tea needs some work. Sunny service. The Brighton restaurant is a lovely design too.
Consistently good food, with excellent set menu, in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are always attentive and the Brighton venue is one of our favourite Cotes.
