Good food. The set menus offer very good value for money, with plenty of choice. The staff deserve a special mention, very friendly and attentive.

Great as usual. Food was good and staff were very attentive. Will recommend Cote to all of our friends. Cannot fault the entire organisation - excellent.

Not quite tip top form that we’d expect from Côte. A flickering light meant we had to ask to be moved. Then mistakes in both the order and the bill. Food very good as ever and and super friendly staff.

I was a bit disappointed by my visit to Cote York yesterday. The steak that I had was cooked as requested, but the quality of the meat was quite poor. I also felt that we were being rushed even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. I appreciate that the staff were trying to give good service by being attentive, however the service was bordering on being pushy. I enjoy going to Cote restaurant's at various locations, however yesterdays visit to Cote York left a bit to be desired.

A memorable evening - wonderful food - good quality, full of flavour and piping hot. The staff were friendly and gave very good service. It was an absolute treat. We went 3 evenings out of 4 during our short break.

although it was a bit noisy because of a couple of large parties the staff were fantastic and gave us the offer of another table and also adjusted our bill to compensate. hasn't put us of and we will definitely be back.

Cote is the best restaurant for excellent care and attention if you have to adhere to a gluten free diet, oh and the food is superb too.

We all loved this place. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was really good. There were six of us and between us we had four different starters, five different mains, and three different desserts. Everybody was really happy with everything they ate. Definitely would recommend.

Food was excellent as always, really delicious! Sadly the service at this particular Cote, on this occasion, let it down - quite slow overall and mistakes were made (e.g. a forgotten side, extra water and condiments that our party had asked for).

Couldn't fault either quality of food or service. Perfectly cooked dishes and served piping hot but NOT microwave hot. Lovely atmosphere and great care taken with reception and attention to detail with serving. Excellent.

Nice interior. Slow service as they were very busy. Prawn starter took ages to come and was overcooked. Nice salmon main course. Generous compensation with complimentary drink, dessert and coffee

Food was lovely as always however the steak was overdone as it was meant to be rare. Staff kind and helpful as aslways creates a wonderful atmosphere.

For the first time after numerous visits we have had to complain about the tuna being cold. on return was overcooked! Spoilt the meal. The Manager was very apologetic and took the price of the main course off the bill.

Good food, well served. Did not like practice of automatically adding a "voluntary" service charge. Good wine and very goid staff. Aircon absolutely freezing so take good coat.
