Excellent food and service in very pleasant surroundings for a very fair price

good branch with lovely food and quite good service. different offers available in different restaurants like the branch in Bournemouth which has better offers for me than york but none the less still good.

Yet again, the staff were brilliant and it shows when the manager, Jason, who is very professional, is on the floor, working as part of the team.

Good early bird offer, steak was delicious, wasn’t too keen on the calamari but didn’t spoil great evening

Regret the prawn starters were only lukewarm. Good steak frites and puddings, wine good. Service good.

One item from my main menu choice was missing and we had to ask for it. Otherwise very good, and we would go again.

Very pleasant service. Nice buzzy atmosphere. Food fine except for garlic bread which had hardly any garlic flavour.

Excellent meal as always, however there was a long wait to be served, which appeared to be due to insufficient staff for the volume of people dining.

Outstanding service and menu. My wife requires a gluten free diet and the menu in her opinion is the best she’s seen. Thanks for making our evening really really enjoyable.

Loved our first ever meal at Cote. One party member had previously lived in Paris for several years, but had not been able to find steak tartar on a british-french menu,so she was very pleased to find it on your menu.

Glad we visited. We were seated immediately and given our complimentary French Martin's. My husband chose French onion soup which was amazing and I chose the crab bisque which was tasty. We both had a chicken dish, mine being the October special with artichoke, lovely. Our deserts were creme brulee and brioche pudding, all plates cleared. We chose the least expensive white wine which was lovely, crisp with a tart edge to it, coffee to finish. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Bill was £84 including service charge. Reasonable price for an excellent meal.

We had the fixed-price lunch menu which was excellent value the service too was really good and we had a window seat which made it even better definitely recommend

Not the best meal. The house white wine was tasteless so we had to change it. My husband’s peppercorn sauce was cold. My duck was chewy. The chocolate fondant was only ok. We did appreciate the free kit royals on the birthday offer though.
