Côte York

Very good food, great ambience. Service was excellent and menu choice great, especially for an early bird deal. Two of us dined, both enjoyed the food and wine choice was good too.

Always a pleasure to vist - great service and great food, and very friendly staff - we go there every time we visit the city of York.

A friendly greeting on arrival and shown straight to a table. Food delicious as usual and served piping hot. Have dined here before and the only problem I can find is that everything is so tasty that choosing what to eat is diffficult

Our party of 3 had a very pleasant evening, very attentive staff and food very good value. For a Tuesday evening towards the end of June on what turned out to be a rather miserable evening weather-wise the restaurant was surprisingly busy for the 2.5 hours we were there.

Super the lamb was to die for the staff attentive .Even though it was very very busy . This indicates how good it was . I have been several times and it never fails . Think this was the best ever

Very good experience at Cote Brasserie in York, the service was very attentive and the food was very tasty. The only minor criticism I would have was that the portion of Calamari was too large.

This visit was a first time to a Cote restaurant and was excellent. The food, service and ambience was very, very good. We will certianly try this one again and also look for this chain elsewhere. In particular, we were verfy impressed with the courteos and efficient staff at York. Keep it up.

We had s delicious meal and the staff were charming . However they knew nothing of the £10 cashback summer offer so we had to pay the full price . Please can you explain thanks !

Perfect location in central York, lovely atmosphere and we were given a choice of tables which was great. Food cooked to perfection, just slightly too much salt in the calamari, otherwise no complaints from any of our party.

Food was exquisite, staff were extremely friendly and attentive; just a perfect venue for a hot date with a beautiful lady you're wanting to impress ;-)

York cote is simply great. Go! Especially before 7pm Monday to Friday when the top value menu is available. It is a good menu and great value

This was my first visit​ and I was very impressed with the ambience, the quality of the food and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone in the group agreed it had been a very enjoyable experience. The only minus was the automatic adding of 12.5% service charge to the bill but you don't have to pay it. I

Excellent food, very attentive service would highly recommend Cote Brasserie, York. Could not really fault any aspect of the evening. Good atmosphere and enjoyable for the four of us.

The service as always was good here. Two minor points - the green beans (again!) were poor quality and badly cooked, and the chocolate mousse was certainly not made from 'dark chocolate' and not similar to our previous experiences. Looking forward to the Leeds unit opening

Really good food with a great Vegetarian selection, make sure you ask for the vegetarian menu. Great service and a nice atmosphere. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

A birthday lunch for 6 "oldies", a welcoming glass of bubbly, then steaks for the men, regarded as being perfect & delightful salads for the less hungry. Al served in an efficient, but very friendly way. Thank you!

The food was fantastic - far better than expected. I can recommend the duck with cherry sauce. The service was good and attentive. We had received a voucher for kir royale for my birthday but did have to ask for this - luckily, I had printed out the e mail and then we were charged for one of them!

Their £9.95 breakfast deal is great value for money; fantastic full English with a big glass of fresh juice and a pot of tea. The staff were lovely and there was no pressure to leave quickly once we'd finished. The perfect start to the day - highly recommended.

The overall standard of service and quality of the food is consistently high. We appreciate the efficient and friendly staff. The surroundings are relaxed and comfortable and are maintained to a good standard. Excellent value for money compared with other restaurants in York.

I love the food choices and the Kir Royale. Waiter needed to pay more attention tho, rather than distractedly looking through us / over our heads.

This restaurant is really top quality with excellent service and food. The other thing that sets the Cote apart form its competitors it the fantastic atmosphere. Outstanding value is to be had with the afternoon and evening set menu. Highly recommended.

Lovely food (as always), very friendly and attentive staff, and delicious free Kir Royal's for my Birthday! This is a great place for a set menu or for something a la carte. I can definitely recommend the Veal Escalope. Thank you! We'll definitely be back!

We had the two course set menu. Tasty, well presented food.; I especially enjoyed the mackerel rillette. Good attentive service and quick as requested as we were off to the theatre!

This was our second visit to Cotes...came last year on a weekend break away in York...the food is first class and the staff are so attentive. Would definitely recommend booking this restaurant before you travel or you may miss out ...they get booked up very quickly...thankyou once again...we look forward to coming back once again

Very welcoming. Tasty food. The night was only marred by the party of 2 mothers and 4 noisy, unruly andrarely checked boys who came to sit at the next table.

We absolutely love this place! We are never disappointed! We had the early evening menu which included sea bass, delicious! The menu is very good, lots to choose from! The service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble! The wine was excellent and desserts gorgeous! We will definitely be back!
