Côte Wokingham

The Food was brilliant, the service was quick and professional all the staff were excellent. Was a beautiful day so we sat outside, we will defiantly be coming back.

We always receive a warm welcome from the staff that sets the tone for the whole evening. The service is great and nothing is too much trouble. Last night we both tried the prestige end, and it didn’t disappoint. My asparagus was cooked perfectly, with extra vinaigrette on the side. Husband had the moulds Breton style. His main course was his favourite: the chicken. I had the seafood linguine. A few of my mussels were not opened however some more were brought to the table when I pointed this out to the waitress so no problem there. Maybe the chef could just monitor this kitchen side? By the way the rhubarb cocktails were a great hit! Why do we like Cote? Well service is always great and the seasonal menu changes are really good. And unusual to find in a restaurant nowadays. It also brings a little of my husbands homeland to us in the UK!

Not enough staff - & the staff who are there are detached, insulting, disengaged. Portions are smaller and meaner with each visit. Not good value for money.

Great meal staff were brilliant and welcoming, kids loved their meals, steaks were cooked to perfection. Desserts were amazing and very tasty. Definitely be back soon

A group of six of us booked to have breakfast together and have a catch up. We had a lovely time and the food was great. Thank you Cote.

Excellent as always. Very good attentive service. Food quality and quantity very good.

Very police and charming waiter. The music was just right, not overwhelming as in the majority of restaurants. The service could have been quicker. As we only had 1 12 hours parking time, we had to forgoe our dessert and coffee -pity about that.

Visit Côte regularly. Once again great experience and lovely food as usual. Still feel that 12.5% tip is steep and should be left to the individuals rather than added to the bill. Apart from that everything is perfect.

We went at 9pm on a Tuesday and it was very quiet. Food was great but for the price and versus the competition the portions are very small. We had the Ribeye with fries and a side of Creamed spinach and it is the latter two that I am referring too specifically. Staff very helpful although had to wait for Spinach.

My friends and I had a wonderful evening, thanks for a great night.

Turn off the sound system - restaurants in France don't need one !

The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Everything we ate was fresh, tastey and well-presented - excellent value for money! The only tiny criticism - it was very noisy but that was because of its popularity - the restaurant was choc-a-bloc!

Wonderful hospitality, food and atmosphere. Can highly recommend the Wokingham branch.

Overall a good experience. Starters, wine and service all good. Steaks disappointing but the manager kindly dealt with that professionally and helpfully - our thanks for that.

the manager for the evening ( I can’t remember her name) was amazing. It was clearly a very busy night with minimal staffing but she stood out as calm, cheerful and happy all evening. Very impressed with her. Food was fabulous.

Very pleased with everything as always except it does get a bit noise.

I enjoyed my meal at Cote. The only criticism I would make is that the service was so slow that I had to rush the lady to sort out our bill as I had only allowed 2 hours parking at the car park. This meant that I was 4 minutes late in getting back to my car. Fortunately I didm't find a ticket on my car.

Good meal. Both enjoyed our starters - asparagus, and baked crottin cheese. Shared a good Chateaubriand for mains - small grumble as it was overlooked but a good piece of meat. Good, personable service from the busy team.

We had a lovely breakfast but sadly several items of our order were either forgotten or arrived wrongly (e.g. missing toast, croissant instead of pain au chocolate, missing orange juice, eggs fried instead of scrambled)

Service was great and food delicious. We did have a problem with the moules being luke warm but they were redone for us and our desserts taken off the bill

It was a Sunday - we decided to take a late Sunday lunch after the crowds - (2.00). They had been very busy but within 10 mins everything was neat and clean - we ordered ribeye steak it was fabulous perfectly cooked with pepper sauce on the side. We also had the complementary cocktail - must have that again that too was super

Arrived early for Valentines meal booked for 2100 and was seated almost immeasurably invthd front bar. Although the front restaurant was empty was seated immediately next to a rather brash young man and his partner who continued with his load and course conversation without any respect to other diners. Fortunately they left about 30 minutes into our meal. Although the front was fairly empty a second couple was seated directly behind us. There was sufficient space to have seated them at least one table away and this remained the same during the rest of the evening. Ruined the atmosphere for us ☹️

I always enjoy the food at Cotes. Never had a duff meal yet! In fact I think the food at Cotes is excellent quality; cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and great value for the money. My most favourite place to dine!

Nice but understaffed. Was rather quiet but still had to wait a long long time. Warm wine. Staff were very polite though. Food was nice.

Not the best service, under staff which meant waiting 55mins to some to come and take our order! Waited 40mins for some to take the 12.5% tip off but still no one came! So felt I had no choice but to pay the tip over-wise we be waiting all night! Don’t mind paying a tip but not for crap service

Great service. Great food. Try the french onion soup. It was the best we have had outside of Paris. The whole meal was well presented and top quality, as was the service. A most enjoyable evening.

Had a meal for 15 people booked at Cote Wokingham. Pre-ordered food and spoke to Pedro at restaurant a couple of days beforehand about a couple of people with allergies. Very helpful. Staff on evening very pleasant and helpful. Food was great. Highly recommended.

Excellent table service. Good food, well presented. Only drawback was the low temperature in the room made sitting and eating uncomfortable. Hopefully you will sort out the environment before too long.

Lovely morning spent at Cote with my Dad on Father’s Day. We had the English breakfast & vegetarian breakfast. Delicious & stylish. Great coffee & orange juice too.

We had a lovely meal, great steaks and the service was excellent. Our waitress, in particular, went out of her way to ensure that my meal was gluten and dairy free with the minimum of fuss.
