Côte Wokingham

Took my mum here for Mother’s Day and we had a great meal! The food was incredible and the service was fantastic even though the restaurant was quite busy! Would definitely recommend and going back again. We especially enjoyed he special set menu for the day - £25 for three courses was a good deal. Thank you Cote!

As usual our experience at cote was relaxed with efficient service and good food mixed with a bottle of house red. What better way to spend a grey wet afternoon!

Nice quiet table as requested and food very good. Staff attentive and free cocktail was appreciated. The atmosphere was good and we will definitely be back.

Great place to enjoy in your meal people are nice and pleasant ,food is good and bread that they making is five star 😉 and good atmosphere is the key

Excellent fillet steaks. very good complementary chocolate mouses. the place was empty, being bank holiday evening, but a lovely quiet enjoyable evening. we are regulars!

Great food. Enjoyed some new additions to the menu. There was a drop of in service towards the end but compensation was offered which was very acceptable.

The ambiance of the venue was enjoyable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The food I chose was not as tasty as I had hoped but that was probably down to my choices. My wife enjoyed her main course of Salmon but found the starter less than special. We would return to the restaurant and try other options on their extensive menu.

Food absolutely great. Service not good. We were sat right out the back where no other guests were and clearly were forgotten about on multiple occasions. We were there for 25mins before our drinks order was taken had to flag someone down for the bill and then we had to flag someone down for the card machine. The manager did give us our bottle of wine on the house without us asking/complaining purely because she knew we had waited for so long, but even with this acknowledgement of a long wait, the service for the rest of the evening was poor. Such a shame becsuse the food is lovely and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great if you aren't shuved out the back.

Great service with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast for five was of great quality and good value for money. Only improvement I can think of is that my wife asked for brown toast and was served with white and asked for another coffee and only got it served at the end of the meal. This however did not spoil our enjoyable visit to your restaurant, keep it up.

Excellent food and very pleasant and efficient staff. We visit at least 4 times a month and haven’t been disappointed yet!

Great welcome . Service friendly and informative. Atmosphere great as Friday night and busy. Food lovely (as always) and didn’t have to wait too long . Wokingham Cote is our favourite go to restaurant but most Cotes we have been to are of a high standard.

All very good, professional service and food was very good. Nothing to do with restaurant but everyone hates discretionary service charged added.

Unfortunately the food service was very slow today. Even though I’d mentioned a few times that it was a birthday lunch for two twelve year olds it took a very long time for the dessert with the candles to arrive. Very disappointing.

Fantastic service, very attentive and polite staff. I’m never disappointed with the quality of the food. Lovely atmosphere too which meant a relaxing night for us.

Excellent food and service marred only by a large noisy party of approx 15 people.....would like to see party sizes being restricted.

Mussels were rather small and scrawny. Not enough sauce with the sea bream and the veg accompaniments were very poor, just onion and a few leaves. Had to get extra side dishes. Bad value for the price.

Calamari was perfect, steak was delicious, service was excellent. In my opinion the best place to eat in Wokingham.

Always have a good meal at Cotes, Wokingham, love the buzzy atmosphere and excellent service from the staff. It’s our go to restaurant for date night.

So lucky to have a nice restaurant in wokingham, not too expensive, food good and not too noisy. Always able to get a table when we want one.

A good service and nice food. Bit too close to adjoining tables and meal potions rather small. It was quite noisy as so close to other diners.

The menu offered very good value for money and was delicious! The service was attentive without being overpowering. The only negative was how close the tables were to each other which wasn’t especially comfortable, otherwise al in all a lovely evening.

Always great food and great service, prices always fair with a great selection on the menu. It does not matter if it’s breakfast , lunch or dinner the whole experience remains consistent. That’s more than enough to keep me happy.

Toll 30 mins to take drinks order. Starters were cool. Mains were like warm and potatoes were missing from the rump. Asked for potatoes and 15 mins later had to ask again, by that stage the meal was nearly over. Lamb wasn’t left to rest, therefore had a plate of blood, not impressed!!

A lovely evening with good service and great food. Varied value menu choices as well as a la Carte makes ordering easy. Very good selections and quality food.

Came in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and found it a lovely treat. They were well organised, there is a good menu choices and the food was gorgeous. After much indecision chose the full English which was yummy and plentiful. Good value for money. I'm looking forward to going back again to trying other things on the breakfast menu!

Was busy as Valentines Day but were greeted and had a choice on whrre to sit. Staff was always friendly and courteous. Food was served quickly and was good. Perfect for us!

From crab bisque to Roquefort salad and from pork belly to Tuna Nicoise, the quality and taste of the food was outstanding. We had French 75s to start and a lovely large glass of Merlot to take us through the meal. We love Cote and once again we weren’t disappointed. Only points which stand out as opportunities to improve 1) serve the crab bisque warmer, it was only just lukewarm. 2) please please remember not to charge for the drinks which should be free. It’s a simple error to make but we shouldn’t have to ask you to take the French 75s off the bill and we had to do the same thing when we took up the promotion for blood orange martinis a couple of months ago too. Please try to make the system work out what’s chargeable and what’s not and take the onus off of the waiting staff who are brilliant and should be able to concentrate on being so. Will be 6 stars next time if these points are cracked!

A nice evening out, with a decent atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is average at best and drinks list has an astounding lack of beer choice, so if you don't like wine you'll feel let down!

Very pleasant staff but waiting times for food not good. When it is difficult to park in Wokingham it spols the eating out experience when you have to constante check the time in order not to overstay your parking time.

plates were good and hot but the food could have been hotter. This is a common problem in most restaurants. Thw menu has not changed for years.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service and had the lunch menu good value . Would definitely recommend for lunchtime. The waitress was very helpful and we didn’t feel rushed. Thank you will be back.
