Enjoyed a lunch at Cote Brasserie in Wokingham to celebrate my daughter's birthday & Father's Day. Overall the meal was very good - a few mix-ups with the order and salad served in a hot bowl(!) Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. Atmosphere was good although a little noisy (I blame the wooden/tiled floors). Would recommend - good food!

Excellent the breakfast was hot not greasy served quickly & efficiently by very helpful friendly staff . Great value for money - thank you to everyone we will definitely go again & recommend sue Jordan

A pleasant Mothers' Day lunch, and the staff coped well with the number of diners. Food was very good, as were the complimentary drinks on offer. Disappointing that my wife's mother was left without her coffee for some considerable time, despite two reminders, but the staff were suitably apologetic and (on their own initiative) took that charge off the bill.

Friendly and excellent service once again at Cote Wokingham. An amazing gluten free menu and a delicious meal.

Loved the rhubarb martinis and the food but thought the service could be improved, it was very slow.

Food was pretty good. Staff were really lovely but service was rather slow. Not much of an atmosphere and I thought it was overpriced. I hadn't been here before and am not very likely to return.

Food excellent and staff lovely. Good atmosphere with busy. Parking in public car Park at no cost after 6pm. Cold outside but lovely and warm in restaurant.

As always, great service and very good value - particularly the early evening menu option. Smarter and a better atmosphere than any other chain restaurant in Wokingham.

Excellent, friendly service. Top class experience. The staff were brilliant - it was my daughter's birthday and they couldn't have tried harder to make it special for her. Quality of the food was excellent, very impressed with the ambience too.

The food and service were excellent but the evening was spoiled by a nearby table of about 12 people who were so noisy that it was almost impossible to hold a conversation or to hear anything anyone at our table said.

Booking was easy and although late by almost an hour due to weather and traffic conditions,the staff were helpful, obliging and very professional in every way

Nothing wrong with the food, very good. The service left a lot to be desired. We arrived at 7 p.m. and no one came to take order until 7.25! The table next to us arrived after us and were served with their drinks before our order was even taken for drinks or food. I ordered creamed spinach with my meal and this did not come along until I was half way through my meal. Although we had a la carte, my wife saw that there was a dessert on the early bed menu which she liked and asked the waitress if she could have this. The waitress asked the manager who refused even though we were willing to pay the full price for the dessert and the menu applied all evening as it was a Wednesday.

Enjoyed being outside in the sun for a change. As usual food was excellent and service speedy.

Went here for mother’s day and the food was lovely but I was quite disappointed that they didn’t have my favourite meal as they were out of mussels

Great quality food and really nice venue, the service was pretty good even though the venue was busy.. Worth noting that the tip is included in the bill.

Round table we requested for 5 people had been given away just before we arrived. Restaurant was empty at the time . Manager had not even looked at our request on the reservation. Tried to order a starter dish from 1 set menu with main from the Prestige set menu (happy to pay more expensive price). Was told this couldn't be done by a junior waiter, then by the Manager who went away and said she would try to sort and never came back. Finally another waitress was very helpful and said she would override the computer. Never had this problem before. Long process to make order and very annoying you cannot have what you want to eat. I appreciate we had the set menu but still paying £45pp for 3 x 2 course and 2 x 3 course set menu.

Good value high standard food with excellent range of gluten free options. Service always excellent.

Great meal at Cote Wokingham last night when the food was brilliant and the staff excellent.We certainly will be back soon to this place, very much a favourite for my wife and me.

Helpful, attentive staff. They went out of their way to help, and sort, when my son had set his sights on something no longer showing on the starter menu!

Great breakfast with excellent food and service. Had a great 69th Birthday slap up breakfast with my wife. Staff attention made it very special. Highly Recommend!!

The service was good, but the food much less so. We went for brunch and I had the Eggs Florentine. My companion had the Vegetarian breakfast. My poached eggs were overcooked and when the waiter came by and asked how things were, I pointed this out. An egg was speedily replaced, but this turned out, although appropriately runny, to be almost cold inside. I suspect this means they are using pre-cooked eggs (a not unusual practice) and not taking much care in finishing them off. The vegetarian meal was fine, but the accompanying hollandaise sauce was definitely not to my companion's taste, being nearly tasteless, with no piquancy and apparently consisting of melted butter (not surprising I suppose). A shame, as I have eaten here before with no problems, and a breakfast should not be challenging for a restaurant like this.

Our first visit to Wokingham restaurant. Could not fault anything - staff, food and environment a*. Much nicer than Reading. Will definitely be returning and recommend to friends.

On a busy Mother’s Day, their service was fast, friendly and polite. The food was lovely (French breakfast) and the Mother’s Day deal with a glass of champagne was very good value.

As usual well cooked tasty meals delivered.grilled chicken was just right. Langoustine tails coating not too thick Very good.calamari was also very good. Looking forward to Cote in chester next week

spent a lot of time between courses before the next course came, more assistants needed.

Restaurant extremely busy tonight so we had to wait an eternity to order and then for food. Staff apologised and gave some drinks after best part of an hour.. first food came 1hr 30 mins after we sat, again long period before main courses. Food itself was excellent, atmosphere good and we would go again..

First time for us, we had breakfast for 4. Two of us had full English and two had sausage baguette, all was lovely. Nice coffee, staff very pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

My wife has a dairy and yeast intolerance and the staff were attentive to her needs and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our eating experience.

I had the early evening menu- portion size for the cod was small,but after 3 courses there was enough to feel satisfied. Good value and very pleasant staff.

Lovely food. Good value for money. Good choice and staff were very helpful. A little noisy but then it was a popular evening and they were very full. Lovely time.

We had a lovely early evening meal, well prepared and very tasty, which proved excellent value. We were well looked after by Monika and her colleagues and made to feel very welcome.

A table for 2 here is way too small for breakfast for 2 people. We had to refuse the water as no space on the table for it and glasses. Only one of us had tea which is fortunate as no space for 2. We would have had an extra dish of french toast but no space. I asked for a bigger table at the outset but told no. Irritating that just after we wee served a couple came and were given a table set up for 4. Food was average.

An excellent meal today. The lamb was superb, and we also enjoyed our starters and sweet Service was rather slow, as is often the case, they seem to work on a minimum of staff (as do many other places today!)

The atmosphere was lovely, food perfectly cooked and the service was excellent. Had the French 75 aperitif, which was fresh, zingy and the perfect start to the meal. The bread was still warm, fluffy inside and crusty on the outside. My main meal (duck) was very flavorful and beautifully presented. Will definitely go back.

Been here many times but tonight it was perfect. Perfect service and food. Rare fillet Steak amazing. Thank you was a great night for valentines night.

Gets busy on Sat nights and sometimes the pace of food coming out of getting cleared away suffers. But staff and food both good. Will revisit.

A family meal to celebrate a birthday. Great G and Ts to start followed by great food and service. We will go again and so will our friends.

The service was excellent and there was a nice up beat atmosphere. The food was mainly acceptable except for the lamb rump which was served almost raw, we sent it back to be cooked a little more and it came back almost cremated which made it tough and striny. Wev weren't charge for it but it did spoil my daughters Birthday lunvh

Waited over half an hour to even order our food even though we prompted the waitress we were ready to order when our drinks were delivered. Same thing happened when we were ready for pudding, service was very poor and slow. Disappointed.

My wife’s monkfish was over cooked. Our waitress was quiet abrupt dealing with us. Our last 3/4 visits we have been charged for an extra drink, which was removed from our bill once it was pointed out. We love Côte normally but because it was early around 5.30 we think the chef and staff had an off night.

Warm, welcoming restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was tasty but I would have liked some fresh salad with the steak frites. It is just the steak and fries.

Once again a great place to meet friends and have a quick and delicious lunch. The daily menu offered excellent choices and decent sized portions. No complaints.
