We arrived early but this was not a problem. The staff were charming, as always and the food delicious. Only minor complaint - the tables for two are very small. No room for water, wine, plates and side dishes

The service was very good with attention to detail spot on. Food was great, cooked as we requested. The wine selection was well balanced. Atmosphere was just about right, not too close to next table. Overall a very pleasing experience.

Really lovely lunch today. Friendly service and excellent food . We had the set menu which was fantastic value! Would definitely recommend the restaurant especially for the set menu.

Excellent breakfast good service but if there was one small thing we were sat down for five minutes before we were given menus but overall very friendly staff

as always, we had an excellent meal with starter, main coursse (duck) and sweet. free glass of champagne to celebrate their anniversary. very good value for money

we thoroughly enjoyed our dining last night and as usual the food and service was excellent.The menu featured a 10 year anniversary special of favourites plus a glass of champagne, very good value.

Excellent as always and the service was quick and efficient. The food was up to the same high standard as the service and we all had a very enjoyable evening.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Meals arrived very promptly, were delicious and steaks were cooked to perfection. Have been before and will go there again.

The food was excellent and so was our waitress. Unfortunately our mains took a very long time to arrive, about 45 minutes from ordering. Other tables around us who had arrived after us were being served before us. However the waitress did realise and apologised before I said anything (the kitchen had lost our order) and she didn't charge us for our drinks. Overall she was most attentive and we enjoyed our meal but it was a shame we had to rush it at the end because of our time constraints.

It was a lunch time but the two staff waiters were very busy rushing about, very polite and courteous though and good food. Crème Brulee not properly set (added to achieve 25 words)

Happy to report that the meal was really good, well presented and very tasty. The staff are all helpful and attentive. Good selection and choice offered.

The meal was good but it took 3 attempts to get a correct bill. The first one was for a completely different table. I only checked it because it was double what I had expected. The second was for about right but not for the food that we ordered. I finally wrote down what we had actually had and then got the correct bill. Spoilt what was otherwise a good evening.

Delicious food and really slick but unobtrusive service. We had the early evening menu (to be ordered before 7pm), three courses for £12.95 a head-excellent value and very good choice of food.Would definitely recommend.

As regulars to Cote Restaurant, Wokingham we always enjoy the variety and quality of the service and the food which is delicious and presented well.

Particularly nice waiter which made the overall occasion much nicer. Was a birthday and my very old Mum was with us. Waiter made a lot of effort and was much appreciated

Really enjoyable meals with our group of 5 with friendly, attentive staff. Yet to have a bad meal at this restaurant and my wife loves their Latte.

We were sat right next to the kitchen door which wasn't the best place to sit as servers kept dropping things which made us jump and when asked if we could move we were told the restaurant was full but we could see empty tables. We had the flatbread with onions and cheese for an appetiser but it was cold and very hard and couldn't eat it. Main was ok, expensive when you have to add vegetables or a salad, desert wasn't homemade which I would have expected for the price. I was hoping for a lovely relaxed night out but didn't get it. Overall a very expensive night out, just short of £100 for 2!!

Good and service excellent. Experience slightly spoiled by the 'discretionary' gratuity being added automatically and no option not to pay it via the card machine. That's dishonest and I didn't think it was allowed. Certainly isn't on mainland Europe. There are no written or verbal instructions regarding how not to pay this supposedly discretionary amount. Not good enough. In the end I got my 12.5% back in cash and I left the cash - leaving a tip was not the issue. People ought to be given the choice.

Excellent meal - good choice and very well cooked and served! The prawns starters excellent and the veal and fish mains excellent! Even had a dessert as so good!

We went for a birthday lunch and the Food was delicious, the staff were lovely, they brought our daughters birthday cake out and sang happy birthday with us, she also got a glass of proscesso on the house... looking forward to our next visit

Service very slow as busy. Meals were luke warm and rib eye steak was as tough as old boots. Staff were very apologetic and gave us a discount on the bill but a very disappointing experience.

Excellent service provided by courteous, attentive staff, with great food from a very varied menu. Lively atmosphere in nice surroundings. Very good value. Would recommend.

The service was excellent and the food equally tasty. Our waiter, from Toulouse, was attentive, but not intrusive. They had various menus, which satisfied everyone. A reliable brand!

Food when it eventually arrived was good. Service was not good, as they were understaffed, and the staff there were stretched too far, and consequently forgot to put our order in. They did give us a free bottle of wine, which was good, but it still doesn't excuse the length of time it took to receive any food at all.

Really good family evening. Age range 79 to 2 years old! Thank you. Disappointed though that I could not register for my free bottle of wine.

Lovely meal, great service! The only thing I always say about Cote is that I don't like the wine!!! We love New Zealand sauvignon blanc. I know you are a french restaurant but all nationality restaurants sell it!!!

We enjoyed a lovely meal and received excellent service. Our food was well cooked and very tasty. We will definitely return in the (very near) future.

Nice environment, excellent service and high quality food all at what can only be described as a very reasonable price. Cote is pretty much impossible to beat in this segment of the market.

Staff worked hard to make of 41st wedding anniversary special. However, my steak was cold and dry. I did not complain, I would have had to wait for another steak, and I wanted to eat with my husband.

Great meal and service also had set lunch menu which was good value, only down side was the level of noise, an acoustic problem !!,

The restaurant was incredibly busy but we still received professional, friendly and prompt service. We all had starters and steaks which were very good. Great choice of wines/champagne.

Excellent choices of food, great taste, thoroughly enjoyable meal. Fully recommend. Also found this site very easy to use and will recommend it to friends.

Two of us ate three-course lunches, and the result was two times three chunks of total taste satisfaction. It came after my husband had a brief health scare, so this was just what was needed. Thankyou!

We had the set three course meal for £12.95. The langoustine starters were as expected however, the main course of haddock fish I had was overcooked, dry and meatless. My husband had the steak with a supplement of £2.00 which was tasty albeit a bit chewy. The chocolate mousse was to die for and a much larger portion than we were expecting for the money. Overall a good experience and the no arguments about the price. Will go back soon.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The food was superb, wine list was solid, and the service was spot on. It is the perfect date night spot!

Average, whilst it was busy when we arrived service was lacklustre compared to the usual style you receive here and the food, after taking ages, was BT up to the usual standard.

Very good service. Food lovely except for chicken salad - the dressing was too salty. Acoustics made it difficult to hear conversation at the table.

The food was superb, presented well and delicious, all 6 of us enjoyed selections from the Cotes Anniversary menu with a free glass of champagne! Good service , looking forward to returning

Friendly clean and attentive. Good value. Would definitely recommend it. Can park near by which is a great bonus too. Air con was welcomed with the warm weather.

Service was good but had to send fillet steak back twice - over cooked. They were apologetic and acknowledged problem but still - not what you expect for a £20 dish.

Cote doesn't cater well for vegetarians on their main menu. I took a veggie friend and unfortunately hadn't realised the vegetarian breakfast served until 1 pm at weekends isn't available weekdays after mid-day. We left the restaurant without eating and went to Pizza Express where there is a lot more variety for vegetarians.
