Côte Wokingham

The food was lovely and our waiter was fantastic, he was very polite and attentive. Will defintley be going back, very reasonably priced aswell. good job

Professional service and good quality food as always. Cote rarely disappoints and the menus give plenty of scope for all tastes and appetites. Certainly one of Wokingham's more popular eating places.

Generally good food - bread as tasty as ever, fish nicely cooked, although steak sauce was very very salty. Service was lacking e.g. Only 3 cocktail sticks on olives when there were 4 of us, came to take drinks order before any water on table & food order before all menus on table i.e. No Specials menus. The waitress lacked conviction or warmth in her welcome or ongoing attention. I find the Wokingham restaurant lacking in atmosphere especially sitting in the front section, or in the corridor section. Best to be at the rear. Won't be rushing back, sadly.

Good food delivered quickly in a pleasant environment. The menu caters for all tastes and is varied. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will go again soon.

Enjoyable evening, excellent service -very attentive, no waiting. Food very nice. Only negative is that our table was next to the door which can be a little draughty.

I felt the food was overpriced for what it actually was, didn’t really think much of the chicken although the duck breast was nice. Peppercorn sauce was made wrong the first time round and had to be remade. Beers were too small and also overpriced. Service was average at best, lack of personality from waiter.

As a regular and satisfied/happy customer I always find reviewing Côte difficult. It’s always good and the best of the chains, what more is three to say? My only negative comment is if they a Brasserie why is there no pression?

Always a good lunch experience at Cote Wokingham. Love the two course lunch menu with an excellent choice even for me as I don’t eat meat. Staff are great too!

We had a very enjoyable evening. The food was good, staff friendly and efficient and there was a lively atmosphere. I would certainly book again.

A bit noisy Food very nice but got charged £1.50 for a sprinkling of tomato on my green salad which was already £3. This I thought was a bit excessive ! But lovely evening, polite and helpful staff Will return

Lovely food and great service. Very attentive staff. Just watch the 12.5% gratuity that’s added on - not compulsory. The crab starter was delicious and surprisingly filling!

Service from all staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Food was up to the exceptionally high standard that myself, family and friends have come to expect. Will of course be back soon.

Very small portions for main course. Still hungry when I left. What food there was on the plate was nice. Bit of a ‘girly’ menu.

At what was a very busy sitting, the service was very efficient and friendly and as usual the food was excellent. Particularly good ribeye cooked rare.

We went for a late breakfast to take advantage of a two-for-one offer. Ther service was prompt and efficient although possibly a little brusque but we enjoyed an excellent breakfast and left very happy.

Eat here fairly often. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the food is always good. Our waiter today was very helpful and friendly. In fact, all,the staff are friendly.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is always so cosy and welcoming. The menu choices were excellent and the food superb. The service was, as ever, excellent without being too intrusive but always willing and available. Can't wait to come again.

Another excellent meal at Cote - friendly efficient service without being too intrusive and delicious food all round. Always reliable and enjoyable. I especially especially appreciate water being available without the need to request it.

Lovely atmosphere... the staff were efficient and on the ball and the service was good.....the food was ,as always, delicious and very good value : it's one of my favourite places to go☺

Food was great, service was fine until the shift change and then we were left unattended, no offer of tending to drinks and ages before the bill arrived - v disappointing

I can't fault the lovely food again at Cote Brasserie and I must mention the Manageress and her staff for their kindness and understanding when a member of our party became unwell and had to leave after the starters

** Wonderful Dinner** I cannot thank you enough, the lady we met could not have looked after us any better her customer service is excellent! We had a birthday meal and they were on the ball with getting our drinks/ food and bringing the cake after dinner. The food was absolutely delicious we loved it and will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much - a special mention to the manager who is just fabulous! :)

Fabulous food, menus give a wide choice, good value for money, lovely staff - what more could you ask for. It is our favourite go to place when we want to eat out.

One of the best Côte restaurants, nice ambiance and setting with excellent staff. Not sure the Christams menu is good value compared to the usual fare.

The food and staff were very good. We have been for breakfast and dinner now and would highly recommend all of the food. Very enjoyable.

Food was very nice. Service was hit and miss and they added 12% Service to our bill which we asked to be removed! A £37 tip is way too much!

Another fabulous evening at Cote. The waiting staff are knowledgeable and have a great sense of humour. We were served promptly and were offered a different bottle of wine when we were not happy with the one we ordered. The house red is wonderful by the way. The food was delicious as always. We had steaks, halibut and chicken dishes and all were very good. It was busy and quite noisy but it was Saturday evening in December so everyone was in quite high spirits. I would definitely recommend.

Consistently good restaurant. Excellent food and service Only drawback is if a table isn't available at the front. If just two of you are dining the back of the building can be noisy and crowded as it's used for larger parties.

Really nice meal, albeit rather expensive. Would like to see the table dressed with a tablecloth or at least placemats. Service was quick and staff very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go again.

The venue is pleasant, the staff is friendly and the food was perfect. Cote de Bœuf was a real treat . We will go again.

Went their for my birthday with the family, and the service as ever was superb. The Côte de Boeuf was to die for, and worth going just for that!

We live locally and whenever we want to eat out this is the first port of call. The staff are always accommodating and friendly when we arrive, during our meals and when we leave.

Very good food and lots of choice served with no delays. We were not hurried to leave after lunch when we stopped for a chat.

The entrance to the Wokingham Cote was very dark as there was a curtain across into the restaurant - bit weird. We were greeted warmly and our server was very helpful with the menu and efficient. Our meals were very good and also, importantly, good value for money. Unusual these days. We shall return.

Good quality food. The calamari starter was very tasty. I had the Breton fish stew and my wife had the Pork belly. Both were very good. Service was good but we would have appreciated it being more leisurely. Overall a good reasonably priced meal.

I am a regular for Sunday morning breakfast. All in price covering full English cooked breakfast, toast, tea/coffee & juice - very good value. Food well cooked and prompt service

Food was very good. We went early evening and service was excellent, very attentive until it got busy then it slowed. Still a good experience.
