We were welcomed when we arrived, the Staff were very attentive and looked after us well throughout the evening. The menu was good and the food excellent. Thank you for a lovely evening.o

Always consistently good. Lovely staff who make us feel welcome, and I could not fault the hospitality. The place itself is charming with a French 'feel' and Cote is a great asset to the town of Wokingham.

Very good experience, food was good quality and decent portion size from the three course lunch menu. Service was attentive and overall ambience was very nice. I would recommend for a simple, good value, tasty lunch.

Issue with wrong eggs with one breakfast. Dealt with ok but rather slowly meaning 2 were eating while one waited. Not charged for that breakfast. Everything else was very good.

Excellent meal this evening- 3 courses for 12.95 amazing value! Very good choice of starters, main and desert. Really recommend the creme caramel for desert.

Warm, welcoming team at Cote, Wokingham. Given a choice of tables and once we had chosen, we were seated swiftly.Our coats/jackets were hung up for us and menus were available for us immediately. Our waiter and waitress were attentive and charming, nothing was too much trouble and they were eager to please. Food as always was well presented and flavoursome. We both had the minute steak, which was cooked to perfection. A great evening, thank you.

Generally the food was good although the cod goujons were a bit transparent and flavourless. Atmosphere was nice. Service was very attentive and good humoured.

Food was good, service a little slow so we did not wait for deserts. Pleased they fulfilled my request for room by the table for a pram.

not as good as usual. My mussels were undercooked, they did apologise and give us a free digestive on the house but not the usual good experience. My wifes dinner was very nice though.

The menu was fixed which we had hoped we were able to choose from your other menus. As such we were restricted to the fixed menu.

The welcome was excellent; the table was cosy and not crowded alongside other tables. Our server was attentive and intelligent. Food was first class and Valentine's value for money excellent. Nice to see that Côte maintain standards on a pressure night.

Has the duck main course here before and loved it. Ordered it again today, waited ages and when it came was practically raw smaller serving than normal and extremely fatty. Had to leave most of as it was in edible

The food was really well prepared and served, and the staff were extremely welcoming. There was a very relaxing atmosphere without too much background music or noise. Will definitely go again.

Booked last Saturday evening and was not disappointed. Friendly, helpful staff, lively atmosphere. Good choice and reasonably priced - fish stew was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Took a friend for a birthday treat and was so delighted that she received a complimentary glass of kir. The set lunch had a good choice of dishes and the food was delcious. We had 3 courses.

We went for brunch on Sunday - they had no smoked salmon but worked hard to provide plenty of options for replacement, I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Excellent food & service. Good value for money & had a lovely lunch. The booths are comfortable and offer a degree of privacy that you don't get at a table.

This was a work lunch break and we found the food service very slow. It took an hour and a half to be served 2 courses. Most of us enjoyed the food but found the haddock rather tasteless and not enough camembert on the flatbread starter.

Very efficient and pleasant staff combined with an imaginative menu contributed to make a very pleasant evening. Good choice of food and wine. Maybe more choice of non alcoholic drinks would be a bonus. Restaurant and toilets very clean.

The food was lovely and good service but our visit was ruined by a man sitting next to us having a conference call. He was loud and it lasted for most of our visit during that time he didn’t eat or drink anything! I mentioned the problem to a member of staff who said they had put him there so he could have peace and quiet! What about the paying customers? I think he should work in an office and not ruin everyone else’s life. Please Cote do address this . Am reluctant to return

Excellent food, great service and a nice relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We normally go for the 'early evening set dinner' at Cote, but as this was a Saturday night we ate from the main menu. A lot of variety in the dishes available (so different from the 'pizza or pasta' experience - good in its own way but limited), and we unusually splashed out and had a glass of wine that was delicious (the cheapest white on the list as well). Finished with one of the monthly specials; Creme brûlée au framboise that was lovely. This morning we both woke up and said "we must do that again soon" - surely the best review you can have.

Cote in Wokingham has a lovely decor and contemporary feel. Warm, friendly staff who are very attentive. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. Although it was busy, you did not feel rushed and the space between the tables was adequate to ensure privacy.

Friendly and efficient reception and service as always. Waiting staff were patient as we deliberated our choices from the menu. An undercooked chicken dish was replaced swiftly and not charged for.

a pleasant meal. olives and garlic bread excellent. beef bourgignon not as good as usual. crepe fretes very good. overall service good as it usually is

Both meals were excellent - moist chicken and perfectly cooked lamb. The complimentary wine was a real bonus - service was quick and friendly - thank you Côte!

I enjoyed my meal at Cote in Wokingham. It was hit, the steak eas cooked just as I asked and I didn't have to wait too long for it to arrive. The staff appeared to have all been changed since my last visit and I was not overly impressed with the lady waitress, who obviously didn't like waiting while my friend and I made our minds up. On the whole a good experience and I will return.

Ok experience. Service a bit slow and chips served cold with the steak which was ordered medium but delivered well done . Duck was good

Food was good but would have been better if we'd been asked when ordering if we'd like any vegetables to go with it as was just a piece of fish with sauce on the plate so by the time veg came it was nearly cold

My pudding was burned, they changed it and the 2nd one was nearly as bad. Main meal was nice for all of us. This is not the first time that we have had bad food at Cote Wokingham

Always a good menu available, and pricing is sensible. Changing staff doesn't really create a "welcome back" attitude, as originally was the case when the restaurant first opened.

Girls dinner at Cote Brassiere in Wokingham, which has a very nice atmosphere. We had a really nice evening at this restaurant, food and service were very good.

Food and service was excellent. We are frequent visitors to Cote Wokingham. Only problem was a child at the next table playing with a tablet computer which was noisy!

The Wokingham Cote always seems to serve its food right. The staff are professional. Haven't had a bad experience there yet and I go monthly. I like the layout of the restaurant too.

As ever, consistently good value on the lunch/early evening menu. Service is always friendly and efficient and the menu well considered. Atmosphere very pleasant. Cote have forged an agreeable niche in the world of ‘chain’ restaurants.
