Excellent food and service. It was very busy but it did not affect us at all. It was very warm where we were sitting - needed more air conditioning.

The brunch was really good but the restaurant was very busy and seemed over capacity. The staff seemed very stressed which made the quality of the service decrease and almost made some of the staff seem a bit rude.

It was Fathers Day so very busy but the service, food quality was very poor but more disturbing than that the cutlery and napkins were dirty. I had to ask for a glass and cup to be replaced as they were both filthy.

Had a wonderful evening, waitress was friendly , service was good and food was delicious. We are vegetarians, there is a good selection of food and drink to choose from. Thank you

Consistently good food. Shame about the roadworks. However can park for free at the Waitrose car park with only a 4 minute walk to the restaurant.

Great food in lovely surroundings. The menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable Plenty of staff and service excellent. We will definitely be back soon.

A lovely meal at Cote Wokingham, enhanced by a free bottle of wine from Cote Rewards - thank you. The service was friendly and the food great.

Staff efficient & friendly but not intrusive. 2 course lunch menu very good value. Although we stayed to chat after our coffee we were not hurried from the table.

Really good quality food and wine plus great service and atmosphere. Can be more expensive than similar restaurants but worth cost as consistently high standards.

Food and service were excellent and good value for money. We had my great grandaughter with us and the staff were very helpful when it came to her feed time

Excellent efficient friendly staff. Both the pork belly and rib eye steak were cooked perfectly - but a niggle was that I asked not to have garlic anywhere near my steak and that the pan / griddle should be well wiped / cleaned first as garlic makes me feel unwell (thumping headache, sore throat). I was assured that wasn’t a problem. As I was drinking coffee, the headache started & my throat hurt. It’s not going to hospitalise me but it does make me feel wretched. A shame as I really like Cote.

Always good food & good service, never had an issue and always enjoy the visit. Prices aren’t cheap unless you go for the early deal, but still worth it.

Beautiful food and very attentive staff! We'll be back! Very local and much needed in Wokingham. Luckily we can walk in as Wokingham parking is very limited at the moment

The service was very poor. We arrived at opening time, the member of staff unlocked the door, saw us standing outside and let the door go in our faces. Service was lacking throughout. Waitress knocked over my friend's half full cup of coffee, apologised but did not offer a fresh cup! She brought napkins and gave to us to clear up ourselves. The drink order was wrong. We then received no attention at all as the restaurant had filled up and it seems they were under staffed, we had to catch a waiter's eye to order any more drinks, and again to pay. I would not go back. Do not recommend. Staff need training.

Disappointed we could not have the duck pate for the same price as the chicken liver pate that night, it seemed a little inflexible. Food we did have was delicious.

No side plates to eat bread. Waitress asked how the meal was before we'd started eating. Declined pudding then didn't see staff again for 45mins.

Main dish of Breton fish stew had chilli as an ingredient but it dominated too much and over the fish and other ingredients. Bill included 12.5% service. I don't like this being included, especially at 12.5% and not 10%. You expect good food and service and, if you get that, you could give up to 10% but why 12.5?

Excellent food, great atmosphere. Normally great service, can be a little slower at busy times which is understandable but staff go above and beyond to look after customers. Great choice of options for veggies, gluten free, etc.

Welcomed immediately on entering restaurant. Given time to read menu. Placed order. Food arrived with decent intervals between courses. Overall quality of service excellent. Thanks.

Lovely food and great value! Nice venue. Côte is always worth a visit, either for lunch or dinner. The menu changes frequently so it is never boring!

With the ongoing chaos in wokingham it was nice to get to a part not affected, we received really good service, friendly team together with good food made for a good lunch.

Pleasant atmosphere, good meal for a reasonable price and great staff and service. I would recommend eating before 7pm and eating from a reduced price menu. Good value.

Good tasting food. Good space between tables (not too crammed and noisy which is a problem in this town). Overall eXcellent service and rather good "mood"of the patrons. Food came quickly and was hot. Not cheap however. No.2 restaurant in Wokingham.

Chose our own table after no booths available. Service very good and the food was excellent as always. I have recommended this restaurant to many people in the past. We always visit this eatery when we have something special to celebrate.

We have a great team lunch - lovely food and lovely service. Wish the weather was a little better and we could have sat on the patio area which looked lovely.

Breakfast was excellent. There were eight of us all wanting different things. All combinations of full English delivered efficiently and pleasantly. The only slight problem we all have with Côte is the fact that they add an optional 12.5% to the bill. We prefer to decide for ourselves how much to leave by way of a tip.

My wife is a coeliac and is therefore allergic to wheat, rye, barley and oats. Cote have a great menu for Ceoliacs. We were well looked after, the food was superb for both of us, as was the wine. We had a great time. We'll be back.

A pleasant evening in then’secret garden’ at cote in Wokingham. Lovely food, great service and for a chance a sunny evening. We sat in the garden and the asparagus risotto was delightful.

We wouldn’t return. Food wasn’t that great. We left quite a lot and no one asked us if there was anything wrong. We definitely wouldn’t return in a hurry. Also annoying that they add a tip. Why do they do this? I guess as they know service/food is crap so they have to add it. Disappointing.

Lovely lunch from the set menu. Very reasonably priced and good value for money. The iced berries with warm white chocolate sauce are delicious! The service was prompt and friendly.

as usual a very enjoyable time with good service and good food reasonably priced. we hd the asparagus soup; minute steak; crème caramel and apple crumble.

Good food and service as always.Staff are polite and helpful but not over bearing. Food is good choice and well cooked. We will return again soon.

We were not offered the breakfast menu and had to ask for it. Service was slow and the eggs Benedict did not have spinach. Coffee was served with the fruit juice long before the meal arrived. I got the impression that they would have preferred us not to be having breakfast but it was just after midday and breakfast is offered until 1pm on weekend. Disappointing from côtes on this occasion and not the usual standard.

Waiter difficult to understand and rather abrupt. Otherwise good, good choice of food and well presented. Table too near kitchen, considering how far ahead we booked it should have been a better table.

We enjoyed our 2 course lunch at Wokingham Cote yesterday. We had a starter and a main course. The portions were generous and the food was delicious.

Always a favourite lunch spot for the 2 course menu @ £11.50, which is great value and with amazing service! Ambience is also very good with tables not crammed in.

Good food and wine, great service and parking nearby. “Optional 12.5% service charge” though so watch out at the end when you get the bill!!

The food was of a high standard and attractively presented. Staff were efficient and polite. It was a warm day so we were able to eat outside which is always a bonus in England.

Food was excellent. This was my second time and the food was as good as I remembered. Service can be a little slow but we weren’t in a rush.
