Côte Wokingham

Food was really good, but main course came up whilst still eating previous course, so it was taken back to the kitchen and all cooked fresh again when we were ready, just felt we were being a bit rushed and what a waste of good food. We also did not get the table we had requested which was a shame.

great food and service. I don't often have 3 courses but last night could not stop eating as the pace between courses was perfect. the French Onion soup -wow -Veal perfect - creme brulee perfect finish.

Lovely food, excellent service in atmospheric bistro. Cote rarely disappoints and although it's a chain it manages to avoid the feel of one. Nice music too.

Enjoyed the meal and the staff were welcoming. Choice of beers poor. Will probably visit again when in the town centre area on a Sunday lunchtime.

Very enjoyable. Staff friendly and efficient. Good choices on the menu which caters for all. Wine list good too. Will recommend to family and friends.

Friendly staff with attentive and polite service, the food and drinks were good as always and Cote in Wokingham always has a nice great atmosphere.

One of the things I really appreciate about Cote is that if you request a steak done ‘rare’ that is how it comes. Excellent ribeye, thank you

We were received with a walk welcome and shown to our seats. The waitress was very helpful and all the food was delivered with great timing. The food was excellent and we were thanked for our custom on the way out. Very pleased. Thank you!

We went here for breakfast. The service was excellent and the range and quality of food was very good. This represents very good value and an altogether pleasant experience.

We arrived a little early and I am gluten free. The meal and wine were delicious nothing was a problem. I would recommend highly. Thank you for a great evening!

I experienced delicious food and wine, good service, a nice atmosphere, accommodated my 7 month old baby, great night out. I would thoroughly recommend Cote Wokingham.

Great food but quite slow service and very noisy. More staff needed! It would be nice if the menu changed more regularly too though what there is is very nice.

Pleased you were able to reserve a round table for us as requested.... as we were three and didn't want to sit opposite each other in a 2 and 1 type of scenario. Gin cocktails appreciated. Good, prompt and discreet service. Would prefer an authentic steak tartare. Loved the moules and duck. Our guest loved the pork. The drawback is the level of noise - for those with slightly less hearing.

The staff were extremely cheerful and helpful which makes all the difference to a dining experience .The evening meal was delicious ,and the portions were not too large . Will be visiting again shortly

A lovely birthday meal with my mum also given complimentary kir royals which are my favourite. Very large portions on the prestige set menu which was good value.

Good service and food. Planned lunch with friends. New set menu was most enjoyable. Wide range of a la carte options available if none of the set dishes suitable.

We have been to this cote several times knowing that the food is very good, We have had no complaints about the food. The staff were very nice.

The food was up to standard, as always. Wine was nice. Staff were nice. Considering I had made a reservation, however, it seemed almost like they weren't expecting us, as they had to make space for us by dragging over a table from a seperate reservation that would be arriving some time after us. We were also tucked away in a corner, away from everyone else - which, in some ways was nice, as the restaurant has been quite loud when I've been in there before, but it also reenforced the idea that maybe we weren't meant to be there.

The cocktail was poured but then the waiter said there was no tonic to finish it off with so he offered Soda. Not acceptable.This should have been said first of all.A restaurant that has no tonic is an Indication of poor stock control.

Another great meal at Cote Wokingham. Food was very good as usual, service was friendly. Staff was very happy to accommodate some requests such as sharing a dessert between two plates for our children. Thank you!

Very tasty food and good break between courses. Service was also very good even when the restaurant got busy later in the evening. Recommend highly.

Really enjoyed the tuna and sourdough starter. Main course was seabass with pea purée also very delicious though portion size could have been bigger. Wasn’t enough to fill up my 21 year old son!

I have been going to cote since I open d, and I have never had a bad meal. The service has always been excellent and the staff are always very welcoming and very professional

Best restaurant in Wokingham. Excellent service and well prepared fresh food. The set menus are good value with a variety of choices. I can only recommend.

Service friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Booked on line so we all enjoyed an excellent premium G & T on the house. Tomates Bretons as good as usual - ripe and flavoursome tomatoes with warm toasted sourdough and goat's cheese. Contrast with an "oven-roasted tomato" served with a breakfast in another local restaurant; it was a) stone cold and b) rock hard. My medium rare rib eye spot on. The difference between Cote and other chain restaurants - as far as I am concerned - is that the front-of-house staff are better trained, and the food standards are consistently high. What's not to like?

Food cooked and presented to usual high standard. Restaurant staff all pleasant and attentive. A good varied menu for the price. We will be back.

Excellent as always. good menu. good value for money. one of the best places in Wokingham to eat. we go there regularly and always have an enjoyable meal.

Great food and attentive service. The place is well layed out so it not too noisy like so many new restaurants. Very good value for money too.

The meal atmosphere and service were all excellent as usual. The gin and tonics were great and in sensible quantities, the only criticism was that the olives ordered to have with them did not arrive until much later.

We left as the table wasn’t ready and I’d asked for a private table for my boyfriend’s birthday but it had been given away even though we were on time. Very poor, unlikely to go back

Food was of a generally good standard although the service could have been a little better, with the desserts taking quite some time to arrive.

Very good meal, every course was excellent and the staff were friendly. The only criticism I would make is the 12% service charge added on the bill, we all felt this was unnecessary especially when it says it is optional anyway so why not leave it up to us.

The food is always very good and as expected, but is better than other Cotes I have visited. The staff are always professional, cheerful and easy to deal with. Recommended.

Excellent meal from the set menu. We had 3 courses with wine and great service throughout. Will definitely be returning with friends for a good evening out.

Lovely menu along with presented food and a nice range of drinks though I would have awarded 6 had they also had Campari to order too. Our waitress was very peasant and accommodating too.

We always have a fantastic time when we visit Cote. The food is always very good. We feel it's #1 for cost vs food quality. The service was slow today, we assumed because there was a big party but it wasn't quiet; we feel it could have been quicker. Still 5/5 though.

Disappointed that no chicken at all was available. This was at 1pm.that meant at least 4 chicken dishes not available from menu. Couldn’t believe it at Saturday lunchtime,!

Restaurant staff are great, food is always delicious. The only thing I don’t like is the service charge being added on already, I like deciding for myself how much I want to tip.

We had a delicious meal. Every part of it was cooked to perfection, there was nothin more we could have asked for. But to top it all off we had one of the best servers we have ever had the pleasure of dining with. She was fantastic company as well as prompt and attentive. Overall the experience was fantastic and left me and my partner smiling the whole way home.

Calamari very good. Steak not as tender as normal. I didn't want to make a fuss though as it was my Birthday.Creme brulee delicious! Very pleasant evening overall.Staff friendly and efficientas usual.

First class service and food. Excellent experience. The staff really seemed to care about the customer and it was very children friendly. I would definitely return.

Pleaseant atmosphere for lunch with family the meal was delicious. We were well attended which made us feel very special. I would highly recommend a meal out at Cote.

Always have great meals here. Good service and the St. Germain G&Ts (complimentary) were very nice. Even though it seemed very busy, the service was quick.

Fantastic meal this evening. I had the Poulet Grille which was simply divine. Rest of group had steaks and the pork, all were good. Nice waitress as well.
