Food was excellent with very good service, we were a party of 7 people and had a lot to catch up on, attention of staff was great

We enjoyed our 2 course lunch today. It was difficult to choose from the excellent dishes on offer. Good value for money.

Very pleasant, good choice of food, efficient service. Just a bit noisy by another table. Ladies toilets were messy with towels and toilet paper on the floor.

For your get together or special celebration, food is amazing.

Nice surroundings but surprisingly average food. A guest's chicken was very dry and was therefore abandoned half-way through. My haddock goujons had an odd aftertaste so despite being hungry I couldn't palate finishing it. The manager gave us a free dessert but it would have been better to get the food right in the first place. We usually dine at the Reading branch which has never let us down food quality-wise so perhaps your chefs vary in competence depending on location.

Expensive for what it was! Very small proportions and not worth the money! £2.80 for a table spoonful of sauce!!!

Food was lovely but really poor service, waitress was very rude and was very unsure of the menu. Anything asked just seemed all too much for her, has put us off coming back which is a real shame.

As always a very good meal and choice and the service is very consistent every time we visit. I was very pleased with the overall experience and we all enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere.

Enjoyed our French martini and the house wine was very good as usual. The calamari was tasty and tender and the anchovy pissaladiere was good. The main courses were cooked very well - the duck nice and pink, and the sea bass was cooked to perfection. The fennel was beautifully braised and even the watercress added something to the plate which is often not the case in many restaurant dishes. The pain perdu rounded off an extremely enjoyable meal in my favourite restaurant chain - fabulous.

As always we were very well looked after and food was delicious - there is a reason why we visit nearly every week!

Our meals this evening were tasty and delivered timely, by an extremely efficient waitress. It was a friendly and relaxing atmosphere and the menu was comprehensive. In all a relaxing evening out.

Just to enjoy an afternoon out in a great restaurant

CÔTE is the place we always go to for a celebration.

Unfortunately this was not a positive experience mainly due to the service being incredibly slow. We were firstly sat for ages before having a drinks order taken. Then about 15 mins after the order was taken we were told the bottle of wine we had ordered wasn’t cold and we had to change what we were having... it was over an hour after we arrived before we got the first starters and then had to wait again for the rest to arrive. The same happened with mains and then when the bill arrived they’d put a starter on twice and included service charge which we were not happy with. A real shame as the food was good but this service really let the experience down which was a birthday meal.

The meal was first class 4 out of 5 of us had duck as our main and it was cooked to perfection...... we certainly will be booking our works meal there

This was my first time at Cot Wokingham and I was rather disappointed. It was a Saturday night & yes it was busy. We had to wait quite a while for the waitress to bring our drink, then she forgot to bring the bread as our starter. Everything seemed to take ages and She kept apologising for the delays. Ended up bringing the bread with the mainmeal. We didn’t realise that the fish permentier didn’t come with anything so no veg or potatoes. I would of thought they would of asked us if we wanted any side orders but didn’t. So we ended up ordering chips after we had our mains. I didn’t think the fish dish was very big for the price. We had a nice evening as it was my friends 50th birthday but just annoying little things might make me think twice about going again.

Fab food and service excellent as always. The optional service charge should not be automatically added .. we always tip but not always 12.5 %

Great Formule breakfast as always. Could have been a little hotter but still delicious. Amazing value for money although the glasses for juice appear to be getting smaller.

I can't understand why I've missed your wonderful restaurant before, now I've found you I'm not going away, I only seem to get fantastic food and service and that authentic French feel. This evening the attentive service was superb and the ambiance was just right, there are an awful lot of restaurants that can and should come and study how to run a restaurant like you do so well. Keep doing what you're doing,your pretty unique amongst all the other chains of restaurants, I'll be a regular customer from now on Des D'ARCY

Didn’t like the fact that we were given a table close to the till/serving station. Also we seriously objected to you putting a 12.5% “optional” service charge on the bill, and showing the large font total including that charge. Surely a tip is at our discretion. As a result you probably got less than we might have chosen to give.

Can be relied on for a good meal in fairly quiet surroundings.

There were six of us and apart from one main course the food was excellent. Everything in the seafood linguine was overcooked and bland!

Excellent service from entering and leaving breakfast amazing and great value

Superfast meet and greet on arrival and same fast service in ordering and delivery of meals at the table. Servers helpfull and vey cheerfull. A great Sunday lunch out at Cote Brasserie.
