Couldn’t fault a thing this evening, busy restaurant and bustle atmosphere but service attentive and efficient and service was spot on.

Blonde young lady was excellent waitress! Food was spot on as always.

Enjoyed good food, excellent service and good value for money.

Disappointing. My husband and I went with the lunch and early evening menu. His food, whitebait and the cod were very pleasing. I however didn't do as well, I ordered the Pissaladiere camembert, followed by the butternut squash and chickpea cake. The flavours have potential but the starter base was over cooked, it was so crisp and brown it was just short of burnt. Then the squash and chickpea cake was only just warm. I regretted not sending both back but I don't like to appear an awkward customer.

This was a very positive experience for the seven members of my family who ate breakfast at Cote on Sunday November 10th. The staff could not have been more helpful and were quick and efficient. The ambience was great - busy, happy but not too noisy. Most important , the range and quality of the food was very good - everyone got what they wanted and the bill was pretty good too. Went for a late breakfast. It was as good as ever. Never disappoints.

I often go to Cote when out on a double date with friends. The food and service is always great. I would prefer if the gratuity was not already added to the bill and I appreciate you can ask for it to be removed but I find that process to be awkward. I always tip anyway but prefer to do it at my own discretion. Love the fillet steak!

We had a throughly enjoyable meal with friends, the food was well cooked and extremely tasty. The service was good as well we were left to chat and not chivvied at all. Perfect!

We were very pleased with Rosie’s attentive service at our table. We found her to be professional, courteous and best of all cheerful. Our orders were quickly taken and we were well looked after despite the restaurant being at full capacity on a Friday evening. Our dinner was delicious and nicely prepared with a Calamari starter followed by Smoked Salmon and a Sirloin steak as mains with green beans and a Roquefort Salad and red wine with a soft and sweet creme caramel desert and cafe au lait. The only hold up was in getting the bill which was not the fault of our waitress as the restaurant was fully booked with a several parties and a small team left to manage everything including the check out. There is a good atmosphere at the restaurant so as regular diners we’ll definitely be back soon.

We had a great Christmas Party at Cote Wokingham, it was wonderful and we will definitely be booking again!

2nd time now at Cote Wokingham........... and again, we weren't disappointed. Everything was on point and we didn't feel hurried to vacate at all. Our 3+ hours flew past!

A delightful visit with excellent food & service. Only small grumble would be that we were right next to the door so a little draughty & crowded when parties were first arriving & waiting to be allocated tables. Nevertheless won’t put us off visiting again.

Another lovely dinner at Cote Wokingham. We visit nearly every week and are never disappointed. All of the staff are friendly, engaging, efficient and always make us feel very welcome. I have to call out Juliet though as Juliet is exceptional. Juliet always goes above and beyond to make our visits as enjoyable as possible. Her attention to detail is second to none and her warm, friendly manner really adds to the experience. My husband and I recently visited for my birthday and Juliet made sure we had a fantastic night. The food as always was delicious and we will be back again soon.

Cote is a regular eating place for us as the food & service is very good. However yesterday in our party of 6 one meal was not good! Very tough lamb. It was replaced but that did place one diner under pressure to catch up.

Food good but not special. Paying extra for vegetables poor idea and the veg you serve not special or inspiring. Wine a ridiculous high price for a high street brasserie. Staff lovely, atmosphere noisy but welcoming. Difficult though for people hard of hearing .

Lovely staff really attentive without being intrusive. Food was excellent and good quality well cooked and nice and hot. Best creme caramel Ive had for a very long time! I wear hearing aids so acoustics not brilliant as no soft flooring etc but lovely venue.

Sad that my favourite bread wasn’t available but everything we had was delicious and the service was great as always.

Not the best overall experience on this visit. Service quite mixed, food not up to the usual standards. Feedback not very well received but a gesture was made to redeem with the wine being taken off the bill

Cote is my fall-back, wherever I go. Good food, with menu changes every month, so there's always something new. Pleasant and attentive staff, who strike the right balance. Reasonably priced wines and the monthly offers of free cocktails are always tempting! Their biggest plus is consistency - whether in Exeter, Reading, Wokingham or elsewhere, they never disappoint.

Not all starters were available and ended up ordering something I didn’t really want. Main Order was mixed up and I ended up leaving half my plate. Not particularly enjoyable tonight which is quite unusual!

Unfortunately my Fathers meal did not come with all the others as it appeared it has not been ordered, this was rectified but it meant we were half way through ours better his cane

Food was good, service fine & not rushed. Not very busy so not much atmosphere.

Delightful - lovely French Manager, - hope she stays along with the waitress who was great. So much nicer than our previous experience there. Food very good - my husbands favourite dish, Breton Stew is no longer on the menu - shame.😩
