Excellent Brunch experience. We were welcomed with a smile and the staff were very attentive and really deserved a pat on the back (tip)

Lovely atmosphere. Great vegetarian menu. Reasonable prices. I made a request that it was for my friends birthday but that wasn’t acknowledged once whilst we was there so that is my only negative.

Excellent valentine’s meal, relaxed yet special. Great quality food and service.

Noisy restaurant which made it hard to talk. Food was ok but really needed more seasoning. It was helpful that the waitress brought myself and another diabetic the recipe book as Cote is way behind its peers and does not publish its nutritional info, so for two type 1 diabetics eating here is tough. The issue is that the portions I received were way smaller than designated so thanks Cote for making me hypoglycaemic- that could be potentially life threatening. As it was I felt rubbish! We had complimentary drinks for my birthday which were then added to the bill! The waitress was very apologetic when I pointed it out but it shouldn’t have happened. The Kir Royale were ok but wouldn’t have been my choice. Not once after that did anyone come near us to offer more drinks so Cote missed out. We went elsewhere for them! All in all very average and quite disappointing. Some birthday treat!

The meal was excellent. Good quality food and well prepared. Service was good, especially considering ot was Valentine's Day. Only the main course was a bit slow in coming. The wine pairings were very good, and overall we had no complaints. The only thing about Côte is that it feels a bit slick and manufactured; there is not a lot of atmosphere, at least not romantic atmosphere. The experience feels rather tightly controlled, done to s model that has been perfected rather than spontaneous and friendly. But that's just a matter of taste. The service was perfectly fine, if a little by rote.

Food and service always very good . Never been let down at your Wokingham restaurant. Going again next week. Noisy people seated next to us but we managed to ignore them.

When you visit a Cote you know what your getting. Helpful and friendly Staff Reasonable food Only issue was a very loud dinner that was spoiling the evening for others perhaps the staff could have been more productive when a couple as to move because of the person. The situation was resolved by me asking them to turn the volume down

Visited for Valentines Day for breakfast. Had to wait to be acknowledged and seated despite having booked, as the sole member of staff at that point was busy with other customers. She was joined by a colleague but they were clearly understaffed having seemingly not anticipated extra numbers. Thus the service was somewhat slow; a a couple who had arrived after us had their order taken first (I recall the same happening on a previous visit). That said, the food was excellent, good quality, hot and delicious. The deal with cooked breakfast with toast plus fresh juice and hot drink was good value for a restaurant standard breakfast.

Sadly there were all but two staff on the rota for the breakfast shift. An oversight considering they had loads of bookings and it was Valentines day. Everything was delayed or had to be chased for. Asked for extra toast and after 20 mins and all food and drink finished, we requested for it to be taken off the order and for the bill. Staff ended up having to turn non bookings away, which people couldn’t understand as there were empty tables. Such a shame as the food we did have, was lovely! Poor planning from the managements end, staff looked as stressed as the diners!

Excellent wonderful friendly service & food & value for money

The food was amazing and it was much loved by myself and family and also the level of service from the local staff was exemplary.

Six of us recently enjoyed an evening meal here. We chose from the Early Evening menu and the main menu and the staff were helpful in letting us mix our choices. The food was served in good time and everyone enjoyed what they chose. The staff were attentive and helpful. A good evening out.

Please take off the service charge of 12.5%, much rather give it to the waitress who served us, I know you can refuse to pay it

A very busy Saturday lunch service but the staff were efficient and pleasant. The food was, as ever, good.

Brilliant restaurant - will be returning again, and again and again

The restaurant was extremely short staffed. The food was as delicious as ever but we had to wait a very long time to get our coffees and teas, and the hot chocolate did not come at all until we reminded the staff. The breakfast itself was some time in coming but was fine. Toast and butter arrived but we were not offered or given any jam. The experience was disappointing this time but this is very rare and will not put us off our next monthly visit.

Excellent in all respects; lovely food and very pleasant staff. I'm never very keen on the routine 'optional gratuity'; I know the reason and I know everyone does it but the fact that it is automatically added to the bill should not be in such tiny letters at the bottom of the menu as though you are trying to ensure the customer doesn't notice. Your staff are lovely so there's no need to conceal it!

Warm welcome, and buzzy atmosphere when we visited this lunchtime. Two course menu chosen, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Heavenly Creme Caramel! Good service and reasonably priced.

Very nice welcome at the door and offered to choose our own table which was a nice touch, it was quite early so very quiet at that point. Meal was delicious and we took advantage of the complimentary cocktail. Haven’t yet had a bad meal at Cote and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

We had a fab family brunch at cote on Saturday 1st Feb. Having never been before we didn’t know what to expect, i’m very pleased to say the food was great as was the service & everyone had a lovely time including my 87 year old mum who’s birthday it was.

Becoming our restaurant of choice in Erin and Wokingham. Great am training as the staff are consistently of a very high standard. The food provenance is evidently high quality - thanks and well done.

Food and drink had good flavour and texture. Presentation was good and ingredients of good quality. This was let down by the fluctuating temperature of the food served, the pasta dish was served warm but the sausage and mash was very hot. Also the wedge of lemon provided with the calamari looked past it's best, thankfully we didn't use it anyway. Overall the food was very good. Service was where most improvements could be made. We arrived at 5.30pm on Saturday at Cte Wokingham before the rush yet felt the waitress was distracted, for example, talking to me whilst looking around the restaurant, and I felt rushed into ordering (asked for drinks before we were seated) and yet had to chase for condiment and later for the dessert menu, and eventually as the service was slowing, I asked for the bill before dessert was even served to pre-empt it got worse. It was was getting tiresome to get attention. In summary, I felt that the food, ambiance and decor all gave a sense of class but the service felt more akin to Pizzahut. I think the food and experience was good enough to warrant a second try but if it happens again, I may request to deduct the service charge and maybe go elsewhere.

The ladies serving were wonderful and made our birthday celebrations for Jane even better. Thanks to all of you, unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the lady who served us but a special thanks to her.

Lovely staff and such nice food, really enjoyed my experience

Regular diners at Cote Wokingham and last night, to celebrate our respective January birthdays, my wife and I dined once more at Cote. One word to describe the experience, "OUTSTANDING". From our arrival to leaving we were treated so well. Friendly and efficient staff and quality food as always. I cannot speak highly enough of Cote and its staff. Thank you.
