Côte Woking

We ordered the early evening set menu prior to a theatre visit. Very disappointed in the parmentier. It consisted of two-thirds mashed potato with a few tiny pieces of chicken and couldn’t detect any bacon or rosemary. With the overload of potato and little flavour, it was not pleasant. Our waitress asked if we were happy and called over the manager. Both were apologetic and asked if we wanted to exchange, which we declined due to time factor. As we were about to finish our meal, without asking if we’d like them, the manager plonked two pink sparkling wines on the table. £11.50 was deducted from our bill, which was appreciated,

Good morning Thank you for your e-mail. Ordinarily it would be a 6 as we are regulars at this Cote. However on this occasion one of the fillet steaks(we always have fillet steak) wasn’t cooked as ordered, the medium was quite fleshy and undercooked, the medium well one was perfect. Staff were brilliant, service fantastic and they dealt with the situation in a professional manner. This experience would not stop us returning.

The staff were attentive. The food was okay, nothing special, BUT very expensive. The atmosphere was dull at 7pm. Wish we'd chosen somewhere else for my son's 11th birthday.

Food was , as usual, to a consistently high standard (six meals in all). Service was slower than usual but being Mother's Day, this was to be expected. I have lost count of the meals I have had in Cote, probably at least 30 spread over three branches, Woking, Guildford and St Martins Lane, and not once have I been disappointed. Just keep doing what you are doing!

The service was great. Those who served us were fabulous, with the right amount of attentiveness. The recommendations from our waitress was superb! I would recommend the fish stew!

One of the best. Food great and service too! Business lunch so always looking for good service and the team really excelled. Food goes without saying. Really pleased and will use again.

We use Cote before attending shows in many locations. Without exception we enjoy the meal and service.

I visit Woking on a regular basis and I always enjoy the food at Côte Brasserie. The staff are always very pleasant, and greet you with a smile and I have always enjoyed the most excellent steak. It is very reasonably priced and look forward to my next visit in a couple of weeks. The whole experience is of a consistently high standard.

Better than many independent restaurants and cafes and easily the best chain restaurant. Staff recruitment must be set at a high standard, as staff at Cote are excellent.

Overall pleasant experience and lovely waitress. Did ask on my reservation not to be sat near to the door which we were and food was a bit cold by the time it got to us.

The food was really good recommend the pork belly. Service was fantastic even though it was pretty busy. Restaurant itself is nicely laid out all in all a nice time

Perfect food with very good selection, considering how busy the restaurant was the service was good. Whilst not the cheapest the prices are quite good. We would recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

Lovely staff but average food and not a patch on the Cote in Esher which we went to earlier in the week. The acoustics weren't great. Reasonable value for money and lovely blood orange martini's

Team responded brilliantly to hint that it would be my wife’s birthday on the day of our visit. Complimentary kit royale and mini birthday cake and candle.

Fantastic meal, lovely friendly atmostphere and very attentive staff. A perfect way to celebrate a special birthday. First time here and will most definately be going back again.

Overall a good dining experience other than my wife spending ages on the menu, settling on the burger and then only to be told a while later that the last burger had been sold and please choose something else! The cocktails to start where fun and set the tone for the evening - was my birthday!

The staff at Woking are always so welcoming and attentive to our needs. The food at Cote is always very good value and of a very high standard. There is a good choice on the menus, with one of my favourites being the Pork Belly, but I also like the fact that there are always new dishes to tempt me.

Second Cote meal in a week (prev RFH London ) Both very good vale for money & great food. Woking rather noisy, but good atmosphere. Complementary aperatives very much appreciated. Great wine.

Good food at a good price and excellent service. And the menu changes frequently with whatever is in season so even though I eat at Cote regularly I can always find something different. Well done all round.

The staff were friendly and the restaurant was busy but not too busy to be noisy. We both enjoyed our starters (French onion soup and the tomato salad), however there was little choice for starters for us as neither of us eat fish. We both had steaks for main and they were cooked well (as we requested) again I was a little disappointed that you do not serve horseradish, something I consider THE accompaniment to steak.

One of many pre-theatre meals. Coming back again next week. Traffic chaos caused us to be 20 minutes late which caused no problem. Both my wife and myself commented that the frites were amazing.

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch on Valentines Day but thought that the level of service was not as quick as usual particularly, after our arrival with the restaurant only about 65% full. My wife and I have to eat Gluten and Dairy Free for medical reasons and that was handled extremely well. I had the Lamb Rump which was supposed to be accompanied by potatoes - I found one whole one and some bits and pieces which I did mention after we had finished our meal and the Waitress said I should have mentioned it immediately I received the food - so my fault really and will bear in mind in the future. Otherwise, a very enjoyable meal and we will return. Brian

Very good as always. Super service and very friendly. Good value for money.

Breakfast is always good and Cote do a great deal that includes a juice and hot drink. Service is friendly, efficient and fast. My only criticism today would be that the mushrooms were too garlicky and oily. I like garlic but not for breakfast. (I dropped a star off for this reason but otherwise, it was all great).

A excellent meal, in pleasant surroundings. We did not have to wait to be served or for the food to arrive. One rather noisy customer on another table who liked the sound of her own voice but not your fault.

Cote Woking is by far my favourite of the Cote chain. Yesterday was no exception, where Khrystyna was superb as usual. Even on such a busy night, she has so much energy to be attentive to the customers.

Went to Woking cotes this Wednesday as my wife was working in Woking so surprised her with the visit to a very nice place Waitress was very helpful as my wife is quite fussy and was very patient Food was excellent , extremely tasty and quick to come out I would highly recommend All staff were friendly and can assure you we will be coming back

Lovely pre theatre meal with friends. Fairly busy but great service - 2 of our party arrived late so we were tight for time but kitchen notified we were food arrived in enough time to enjoy every mouthful before dashing off to theatre! Sadly no time for dessert but the starters and mains we ordered were all delicious! House white was good enough and served nice and cold! Will definitely return!

Disappointing, coffees like warm and poached eggs hard (not runny), wont rush back.
