Great service, and an excellent set many as always Between us we had 3 different starrers and mains all were excellent. Two of our party felt the chocolate pot was not enhanced by the crème fraiche - that's the only negative.

We were not offered the menu of the month until we were offered desserts. The manager proffered the poor excuse that they were short of ingredients. The restaurant needs a managerial shake up and is nowhere near the standard of the Guildford restaurant.

The staff were not as helpful and courteous as they have been in the past. The restaurant was not very busy but they put our table of 5 together with 2 larger tables of guests in one corner of the restaurant which made this area very noisy and it was difficult to enjoy our meal.

Nice ambiance, comfortable and warm. Our waiter was very friendly and understood that we didn't have much time, as we were on our way to the theatre. Nice to have a member of staff offer to hang your coat up for you. Not common in a restaurant chain. 3 out of 4 of us really enjoyed our food and would definitely revisit.

Mains were ok, quite nice. Pudding was great! I had the apple tart, really nice. Service was also good. Reason for the indifferent rating was the music- seriously loud, and awful! Every person in there was shouting to be heard, impossible to have a normal conversation. Need to sort that out!

We were served quickly and efficiently even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was well cooked - tasty and good quality. I would have preferred quieter background music.

Oh, we had such a lovely time!! Pre-ballet supper. Terrific staff, delicious food and a good glass of wine. The actual restaurant is also very attractive. 10 out of 10 from me.

We had to ask for part of our order that was missing and found it difficult to get the waiting staff’s attention throughout the evening. Good food and atmosphere

Pre-theatre lunch today. We went for the 3 course lunch menu which was ideal. Lovely food as always and in spite of restaurant being busy, the service was excellent.

The Cote at Woking is well situated and spacious. The toilets are on the ground floor which is unusual for Cote restaurants (most seem to be either way downstairs or way upstairs) but very acceptable. We chose from the Christmas lunch menu. I thought the starter of endive and walnut salad with a warm Roquefort dressing was different, tasty but for me very much a lightweight starter. The chicken supreme was adequate, but the portion of green beans could have been larger. The service was pleasant but normally you are given a bottle of house water on arrival - we had to wait for the water to arrive with our other drinks. I thought the service was on the slow side.

Nice atmosphere, Clean, friendly staff. Portion sizes not great though. Some items overpriced. Service was speedy but then it was very quiet with only a couple of tables taken

We've often eaten at Cote, Guildford, Farnham and now Woking. The food is always very good and so is the service whichever restaurant you go to. I would highly recommend it.

On the set early evening menu the mussels dish was withdrawn and we were not told of any replacement leaving a limited selection. In other respects no cause for complaint.

We chose Cote over another restaurant because of the Kir Royale offer for theatre goers. Our waiter was extremely polite and helpful. Both service and food were very good.

We have been to Cote several times and always been very satisfied with the food and the service. This time the food was good as always but the service has definitely gone down hill! When we arrived for our table the waitress just shoved a wine list in our hands and said she had to go and get the Manager then continued talking to her colleague. They tried to clear our main course before we had finished and also wanted us to order dessert. When we did want dessert, no one was around to order and the same for when we wanted the bill. I hope this review is received by the restaurant. We will think twice about going there again.

My companion was given the wrong dish of food, but it was swiftly changed to the correct one and we were given a discount on the bill. The bill took rather too long after we ask for it as we neede to get to the theatre on time.Anyway I’m about to book again for Wednesday as we are going to see Spamelot.

Pre-theater dinner, midweek. The usual highly efficient Cote service, friendly and professional. They checked if we were going to the theatre to make sure we were finished in time. Excellent starters, not too filling. For the first time we were a little disappointed with our mains. The pork shoulder was tasty, but very fatty; and the grilled chicken was drier and tougher than we have experienced before. Excellent fries and gratin dauphinois, however.

Great steak and atmosphere on a Friday night. Background music was not what you expect in a French styled restaurant but still worked and added to the overall vibe

Very well trained and friendly staff. The set menu was good value. Perhaps the only drawback was that as the restaurant filled up it became noisy, aggravated by the unnecessary background music

Since I have discovered that Cote is accredited with Coeliac UK and have been visiting several different branches I have always been very impressed with every one I have been to. I know I can guarantee the food is gluten free and always of the same quality. You give me a gluten free menu so I do not have to discover what I can actually eat from a busy employee. Our coeliac group have had a meal in the local Cote and all were impressed. The staff I have found have always been friendly and helpful

Food was good. Service not great - e.g. waiting 15 mins for a waitress and then being told, at 7, we were too late for the early evening prices, which runs till 7 (decision changed when challenged!), utensils being handed out with the waitress holding the "food end" (not very hygienic) and then getting the wrong bill. But food and atmosphere in the restaurant was good. Previously service has been fine too.

Perfect pre theatre meal. Great food and service. We had the 2 course early evening menu deal costing just £11.50 for 2 courses. We also received 2 complimentary kir royals which was offered due to attending the theatre in Woking. Great value.

Thank you for such a lovely and welcoming evening. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy with the pre- theatre dinner guests. We were shown to our table and had to wait for some time before being attented to as the place was heaving. In kindness and good service, we were given a complimentary glass of bubbly as a welcome and apology for the wait. I have been to Cote on several occasions and I wasn't surprised at the service we got, very personal, warm and welcoming. I shall continue to bring my family and friends. Thank you Cote.

this by far the best Cote that we have tried and we've tried a few! food tends to be very good in all Cotes but their service often leaves a lot to be desired. But not Woking, staff are very friendly and service is great. would highly recommended.

It was the usual friendly welcome at Woking Cote Brasserie. We arrived unexpectedly earlier, but this was no problem and we were shown our table as normal. Throughout the evening the service was great - friendly, attentive but not overbearing. All in all, another enjoyable at Cote Brasserie - Woking.

We were left a little too long before our mains arrived and (unprompted by us) the staff appologised and offered a free dessert. It’s a very busy restaurant so the fact they realised and the way they dealt with us was awesome. Top service. Food is great too.
