Côte Woking

My wife and I are regular customers at your Woking restaurant. I frequently order moules et frite but I am continually disappointed at the small size of the mussels and often mention this to the staff. But nothing changes. A couple of weeks ago we stayed at the Forest Park Hotel at Brockenhurst where I had moules mariniere. The mussels there were more than twice the size of those at Cote - but were not twice the price. The hotel told me they were Shetland mussels supplied by Premium Fish Co of Salisbury. I am sure Cote would be able to obtain Shetland mussels instead of the tiny ones it now offers customers. The mussels I had at Cote in Woking today were so small I will not be ordering your moule et frites again.

We had a lovely meal - I felt totally safe - the staff gave us plenty of time to decide and the fig cocktail was delicious. Go out and support our restaurants and their staff if you can - we will miss them if they go (and plenty have already).

The service was prompt and attentive, and the food was tasty.

We had such a lovely meal at Cote Woking yesterday evening. Food & wine was delicious, service was exceptional and very attentive. We were celebrating my birthday and the end of 14 day quarantine. It was so nice to forget about the madness we’re living in right now. Thank you!

excellent chateaubriand cote need to improve the desserts, though (apart from the crepes)

Just one comment on the breakfast menu. Eggs Florentine is confusing as it does not include avocado and appears as though it's included.

We had the most wonderful meal, don’t know name of our chef on our evening (14th October - Woking) But the fillet was cooked to perfection! Anastasia, our waitress, was very attentive and generally the service was excellent. Thank you Cote !

My prawn starter was perfect. But after having the best mussels a few times at cote, this time they were not very good - too small and sauce lacked flavour. So I did complain and I was not charged which was much appreciated. But cote is still one of my favourite restaurants. Sally x

Service here in the Woking restaurant is always fantastic, even in the midst of the current Coronavirus crisis. We stay at home all the time but this is one of the few places we have been out over the past 6 months and it was a lovely experience. Thank you to all the staff at Woking Cote!

Love Cote. Very safe environment and fantastic food & service

Highly welcoming and friendly staff from the moment we arrived and throughout the meal. The two table staff that served us were excellent. I was very happy with the guidelines in place for masks, the tables were distanced from each other. It made for a stress free and comfortable atmosphere. All staff adhered to keeping thier PPE on. Apart from the masks there was almost a sense of normality!

One Dish Lamb Chop all bone little meat. Not up to your usual standards. Other two meals were good.

Going in and eating at this restaurant you’d never know there was a global pandemic going on!!! Other than the visors we so not a single attempt to comply with COVID-19 guidelines . We were in the restaurant for an hour and saw not a single member of staff wash their hands or use the hand sanitizer ( we had to ask a member of staff if they had any as we couldn’t see any on display.. he could only point out 1 in our part of the restaurant) there was no social distancing between tables and everyone was leaning over us or provide the food etc vs holding it on the tray and asking us to take it as advised by health department. As a nurse I am vary cautious about going out to restaurants etc as I work with very vulnerable patients, after one hour and rushing through food I couldn’t get out of their fast enough!!!

Such a lovely meal, the food was excellent and the staff brilliant. All the Covid precautions are well done and you feel very well looked after.

Cote woking is a Great place for night out with friends or family

We came for brunch but we disappointed to find it was just your regular breakfast menu. Nothing felt very ‘brunchy’.

Nice place with nice waiters. Good coffee and good croque Madame. I would just preferred the croque madam to have fresh melted cheese on the top (it was just crunchy) and with more filling. Or maybe it would be better with some bechamel on the top.

Absolutely love Côte in Woking. We regularly visit there on a Thursday lunchtime. Really really tasty food and the portions are exactly right. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and polite. Please can you serve the burger on a plate rather than a battle scarred chopping board. And the calamari came in a skillet which was also on a wooden chopping board. Call me old fashioned but I prefer food on plate.
